I would love to give mad props to the employees that worked last Friday during the first day of the Lightbox Expo. There were so many people, and I managed to get my order in less than 20 minutes in spite of it all! Incredibly impressive considering the amount of customers there were in the storefront! I got a tomato and pesto sandwich and it was absolutely delicious! Exactly what I needed before the start of the convention. Thank you so very much!

    Cinnamon Roll

I used to be such a big fan of Europane. It been a few years since I had been there. Thought I would try their cinnamon roll. OMG the worst cinnamon roll I've ever had. Don't waste your money. It truly did not even look like a cinnamon roll. It had some kind of caramel sauce on top. Why? It didn't even taste like there was any cinnamon in it. Hopefully their other pastries are better !!!

This place used to be so cutting edge and unique with all sorts of special pastries and breads and now it's just a pared down shell of itself. Still an attractive place to get standard coffee house fare but the one-of-a-kind nature is gone.

Went biking and needed lunch. Decided to try this place out (heard a lot about it and had their macarons before). There is a bike rack that held about 4 bikes. The outdoor dining space looks nice (but it was too hot for today's weather) but we ate inside the nice AC room. If you order more than $20, you get a free 12oz coffee. Ordered the chorizo burrito and Mediterranean chicken sandwich with tomato soup. The chorizo burrito was good but wished they had more than Chulula hot sauce. The chicken sandwich had great flavor and wasn't dry at all! The orange wedge was a good extra. After eating, you leave the dishes in a bin near the door. It's a nice environment and great for studying or working. Would come back!

Really bad food. We ordered this for delivery so maybe it all dried out on the drive over? The cinnamon roll was one of the worst ever; super dry and tough. The egg salad was really unappetizing; cold, congealed into a ball and somehow dry as well. We got hash browns and it's like they didn't cook them - we ended up cooking them ourselves.

Cute little coffee shop. It's a little bit on the pricey side (I got the granola and greek yogurt combo and it came out to about $12, but it was a very generous portion of both). It does get pretty busy and the day I went, there was only one person working the register and making the food, so I do recommend some patience is in order (and luckily for me, everyone was very patient that morning!). There is street parking, but you can also park across the street inside Paseo Colorado. I like the ambiance of it and I look forward going back.

Enjoyed a relaxing tasty and filling breakfast. Freshly made granola and Greek yogurt was very filling. The granola was slightly sweet, which is perfect for my pallet. Hubby enjoyed sandwich on freshly made ciabatta bread and brewed coffee. Price was very reasonable, service and staff were very cordial and went out of their way to give me a sample of the granola prior to ordering. Hats off to the Team, thank you for your thoughtfulness and making us feel cared for.

It's been a very long time since I've visited Europane, I remember their delicious open-faced egg salad sandwich and it was just as I remembered when we ordered it today.  Get it with the brioche toasted buns and your mouth will thank you! We also share an avocado toast on a sourdough bread. It literally had a spinach salad on top of it! Can it get any healthier?  It wasn't crowded at all when we came around Noonish on a Sunday.  But it was quite bright and sunny inside the restaurant and the shade does not pull down. So we opted to sit outside in the shade.  The waitress brought our food out a few minutes later and it was great with my cafe au lait.  Will definitely be back.

I came across this cute bakery front cafe across from Paseo Pasadena and thought I would try it for a quick snack. It was 1:00PM and they had already sold out on many of their breakfast pastries including chocolate croissants that I was actually craving at the time. I opted to try their almond chicken lunch sandwich on sourdough. The sandwich was lightly toasted but unfortunately dry. There was hardly any pesto mayo to help save this sandwich. The chicken breast was also a bit dry and probably overcooked. The overall flavor was pretty underwhelming. The sandwich was even overpriced at $16 considering it didn't even come with any chips, pickles, or anything . . . nada. Sad. The food is a bit disappointing. Any visiting European tourists would have been appalled being named Europane. Maybe the pastries are better, but I wasn't able to try them. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and nice.

I ordered the stacked pancake breakfast along with an iced matcha latte, which was refreshing after a workout class nearby. My husband chose the brisket lunch burrito. Our food took quite a while to arrive, close to 30 mins! But the staff was very apologetic and even brought us a complimentary muffin while we waited. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and delicious. I swapped the bacon for tofu, and it made for a satisfying breakfast. However, my husband wasn't as impressed with his brisket burrito, saying it was a bit dry. Based on this visit, I'd recommend sticking with the breakfast items, pastries, and of course, the coffee. Copa Vida still makes a great cup of coffee!

The Egg Heaven was honestly one of the best egg sandwiches I've ever had. The flavors were light but still incredibly satisfying. It was also definitely worth the price, it came with three pieces, which was more than enough to share between two people. The Iced Honeycomb Latte was just as good. It doesn't come sweetened at first, but as the dalgona slowly melts into the coffee, it adds the perfect amount of sweetness. If you prefer your coffee less sweet, you can always ask for less dalgona. On top of the great food and drinks, the staff was incredibly friendly. No parking, way too busy, way too full to seat us, a line bursting out the door, the tiny bakery cafe still seduced us. That is, Mr B circled the block in the car but pushed me out to get in line. It was the idea of a flaky, buttery, chocolate croissant crumbling all over his shirt that made him do it. And I had no intention of saying no. The line went quickly. The last Kouign Amann had just escaped my clutches to the guy in front of me, darn it.
