Due to the location of the pipes and tank, the job required quite a bit of sawing and digging - work that I suspect not every septic service would do. Bobby and Triston worked hard all day. They were friendly and considerate of our property. They worked for two full days Recommendation was to replace the main water out flow pipe from the house to the septic tank. They stated the water flow was abnormally slow and eventually sewage/water would back up into our basement. To replace the main pipe they had to saw thru 5 t0 7" of patio concrete to access the pipe for replacement. They were 100% correct the pipe from the house and under the concrete slab was originally installed incorrectly and was a major issue. Billy and Tristin was totally considerate, polite and professional. Their quote for this complicated job was extremely fair. I 100% recommend them to resolve all septic or plumbing issues.

Six months later, the problem persists: the effluent continues to flow through the drainage field which is disgusting and unhygienic. Despite my repeated contact attempts, the only action they took was to pump the tank a few times, but they never solved the underlying problem. George (the person in charge) has not responded to my questions, has refused to provide a detailed scope of the work that is actually needed to pull the county permit and has ignored my reimbursement requests. The only thing they offered was to return $650 of the almost $6,000 paid. They have promised to fix the problem, but now, after all this time, they are suggesting replacing the entire drainage field. This gives the impression that the original repair was improvised and ineffective. This experience has been extremely frustrating and expensive. Communication for his part has been terrible: many excuses and almost no response to messages or calls. They have not assumed any responsibility and after six months, the problem remains unresolved. Now I have to hire another company, which means spending even more money to solve something that should have been done correctly from the beginning. If you want to avoid problems, I strongly recommend looking for septic services elsewhere. Save your money and choose a company that really supports your work. 1 star only because 0 is not an option. No apology. We called multiple times asking for an ETA and were met with vague, dismissive answers. The dispatcher supervisor, Michelle, was completely unhelpful and showed zero urgency or accountability after the no-show. This company does not respect your time, your money, or the seriousness of a home purchase timeline. We lost an entire day of our due diligence period because of their negligence. This wasn't just inconvenient--it was reckless and unacceptable. Buyer beware: If you're on any kind of timeline, do NOT trust Rooter Plus. They will leave you waiting--and they won't care.

Turns out that they had been sold. The guy (kid) that came out pumped some of the tank, and told me that the blockage was because of a dip in the pipe running from the house to the tank. $350 later after having a camera run - turns out no dip, bend, or crack. Just a blockage right at the tank inlet. Called Sludgebusters and 'lo and behold, they took a stick, ran it up the pipe and said "Yup, you have a blockage right here". Grabbed my garden hose, ran it up the pipe (all of 12" away from the tank) and busted through the blockage. Water came flooding in and service was restored. They also showed me, before they did any work, that the tank was about 3/4 full, 2 days after it had been "pumped" by the other company. And with a blocked line, nothing from the house had gone in. Sludgebusters came in, knew what the heck they were doing, and showed me every step of the way. They didn't try to push anything off on a plumber, just figured out how to get the job done. After a week of dealing with a blocked system - they had it handled in an hour. Thanks so much!!!

We refused because we had only lived there 2 weeks and we noticed the took a 1/2 hp pump out and put a 1 hp in So obviously they put the wrong one in to start with. They said they would take the new one out and we told them to put the old one back in so we could call the county. Then we called our builder and I guess the builder paid for it cause they left without taking the new one out. know That if you use them, it could get ugly in a hurry. It did for us.
