Alex was the consummate professional. He was polite, considerate of my home, concise, and efficient in removing my damaged water heater & installing a new one in less that 24 hours. Lastly, in good faith the owner reduced my bill to make up for the miscommunication. I respect GA Rooter far more than the big box stores, as they were honest, provided a reasonable resolution, quickly completed my water heater installation, and provided stellar customer service from project start to end. I checked the Fossett, then stuck my hand down on the ground and found that the water pipe and busted against the foundation and water was flowing freely out into the yard underground. I grabbed my phone and went to my maps and typed in plumber and Neighborhood Plumber came up first and closest to my house so I called them. and to my surprise it 2:30 in the afternoon they answered the phone. I spoke with the girl about my problem she noted it was an emergency or the water would run All night busted, but she got my information and said she would let me know as soon as they could find someone to help. I needed to run an errand so I got in my car and was about to run to the store when I noticed a truck pulled up. Mind you this is five minutes after I made a phone call. It was The Neighborhood plumber.! I didn't even make it out of my driveway or get a phone call, but Blake was nearby. Saw the order come in and immediately drove to my address. I backed up and went back down. The driveway showed him what was going on and we got to work looking for the water line coming into the yard being that this is a new house for me. I did not know where it was and it was buried under brush upfront. We got the water turned off and he got to work. Long story short. Blake got to work had to run and get some parts come back and he worked his butt off inside the house and outside the house replacing the waterline going through the foundation of the house and stayed until around 9 o'clock. I would say? Nonstop work, courteous, professional, and a company, vehicle company shirt just what I want to see as well as all there certifications stamped onto their truck. This was not a cheap fix. I knew it when I saw it he prepared me gave me the estimate and it came out to be the same but from what I thought was going to be a long night of no water no toilet, no bath no cooking... he was packed up and gone by 9:30 tired but I was very appreciative! I love it when I pick a vendor out of the blue, and they turned out to be the best of the best. I reached out to a few plumbers in the area and Arrowhead was one of the first to respond. Derrick, the owner and a Master Plumber, came out to assess the situation. He was upfront about all the options, from a patch repair to a full line replacement, and explained the pros and cons of each without pressuring me into anything. He always took my opinion into consideration. The estimate was fair and clearly written. He sent the invoice via both text and email, and offered multiple ways to pay. The crew showed up on time Wednesday morning. They finished at a reasonable time, which seemed quick to me for a full water line replacement from the meter to the house. The workers were all really nice and professional. Before he left, Derrick was very thorough. When the job was finished I was excited and ready to use the water again. I tested everything and it was working as expected. It would have been easy for Arrowhead to just pack up and leave at that point, but Derrick took the time to make sure I was well equipped to check pressure and plumbing in my home. He actually found that I had toilets that needed to be rebuilt and were still running water. I had no idea they were leaking or even how to check for that. I was assigned Arrowhead Plumbing through Cinch Home Services warranty to replace a leaking water…read moreheater. The plumber demanded over $1,000 in non-covered costs, claiming all the extra work was required by Georgia building code. When I asked for specifics on the code requirements, he refused to provide any. To ensure I wasn't being overcharged, I brought in another plumber for a second opinion. The second plumber showed me that most of the items I was being charged for weren't necessary, and the legitimate out-of-pocket cost should have been around $350. I attempted to work through the warranty company to adjust the charges, but Arrowhead Plumbing then refused to do the work at all. Cinch Home Services also refused to validate Arrowhead's demands or let me work with a different service provider. This experience has been frustrating, to say the least. I strongly encourage others to avoid Arrowhead Plumbing and Cinch Home Services and look into the complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau if you're considering using them.
