They were friendly and considerate of our property. They worked for two full days Recommendation was to replace the main water out flow pipe from the house to the septic tank. They stated the water flow was abnormally slow and eventually sewage/water would back up into our basement. To replace the main pipe they had to saw thru 5 t0 7" of patio concrete to access the pipe for replacement. They were 100% correct the pipe from the house and under the concrete slab was originally installed incorrectly and was a major issue. Billy and Tristin was totally considerate, polite and professional. Their quote for this complicated job was extremely fair. I 100% recommend them to resolve all septic or plumbing issues.

Six months later, the problem persists: the effluent continues to flow through the drainage field which is disgusting and unhygienic. Despite my repeated contact attempts, the only action they took was to pump the tank a few times, but they never solved the underlying problem. George (the person in charge) has not responded to my questions, has refused to provide a detailed scope of the work that is actually needed to pull the county permit and has ignored my reimbursement requests. The only thing they offered was to return $650 of the almost $6,000 paid. They have promised to fix the problem, but now, after all this time, they are suggesting replacing the entire drainage field. This gives the impression that the original repair was improvised and ineffective. This experience has been extremely frustrating and expensive. Communication for his part has been terrible: many excuses and almost no response to messages or calls. They have not assumed any responsibility and after six months, the problem remains unresolved. Now I have to hire another company, which means spending even more money to solve something that should have been done correctly from the beginning. If you want to avoid problems, I strongly recommend looking for septic services elsewhere. Save your money and choose a company that really supports your work. 1 star only because 0 is not an option. The buyer was at the home while the repairs were being done and the worker proceeded to tell the buyer how bad the drain field was. Later that day he then sent me a clearance letter saying that the system was in "Great" condition and in working order. No comment at all about any drain field problems. I presented the letter to the buyer and he already knew better. The company required $2,000 in "Green dollar bills" as pre-payment. No venmo, no check, "Green Dollar bills" only. To keep the sale from sure death, we hired another company to quote for drain field repair, even though it was unnecessary, and $3800 later we were able to close the sale. $5800 in total for some PVC pipe replacement that took 1.5 hours. Keep your distance from this very shady company.

This company does not respect your time, your money, or the seriousness of a home purchase timeline. We lost an entire day of our due diligence period because of their negligence. This wasn't just inconvenient--it was reckless and unacceptable. Buyer beware: If you're on any kind of timeline, do NOT trust Rooter Plus. They will leave you waiting--and they won't care.

Turns out that they had been sold. The guy (kid) that came out pumped some of the tank, and told me that the blockage was because of a dip in the pipe running from the house to the tank. $350 later after having a camera run - turns out no dip, bend, or crack. Just a blockage right at the tank inlet. Called Sludgebusters and 'lo and behold, they took a stick, ran it up the pipe and said "Yup, you have a blockage right here". Grabbed my garden hose, ran it up the pipe (all of 12" away from the tank) and busted through the blockage. Water came flooding in and service was restored. They also showed me, before they did any work, that the tank was about 3/4 full, 2 days after it had been "pumped" by the other company. And with a blocked line, nothing from the house had gone in. Sludgebusters came in, knew what the heck they were doing, and showed me every step of the way. They didn't try to push anything off on a plumber, just figured out how to get the job done. After a week of dealing with a blocked system - they had it handled in an hour. Thanks so much!!!
