The good, called when they were going to be late. Said pumping starts at 150.00, and can be up to 500.00. Expected 300-400. Fixed issue,
The bad, Told me T Baffle I had was installed with too long a pipe that went to bottom of tank, causing sewage to enter T Baffle and field lines. Made sense, agreed to price thinking it would be major ordeal and they would have to bust out old one, probably a couple hours. 10 minutes, old one out, a new T Baffle and another piece of PVC that was placed in field line to connect T Baffle to drain line, was installed. Couldn't have been more than 75.00 total for PVC.
The UGLY, 650.00 to stick piece of PVC in field line to connect new T Baffle. 400.00 to attache T baffle, 5 minutes, 300.00 for excessive sludge that was pumped out just like rest of tank??, 320 to pump field lines ,10 minutes with same pump hose that drained tank, oh and the 150.00 pump fee.
Called Ray the owner, said I was paying for their expertise, not materials and time. Like an auto mechanic that can charge you 500.00 to turn a screw to make your car run better??
So yes agreed to price, yes the issue was fixed. But doubt that anyone they serviced ever just paid the 150.00 pump price. So just a warning to be prepared to open their checkbook if you use these guys. read more
