Just spoke with Phillip at Septic Service Pro about our clogged system with the toilet not flushing and water backing up into the tub and shower. Unfortunately they are very busy and no appointment available until Wednesday. But he did give a couple recommendations of things to try in case it was not necessary for a full septic pump out and was maybe a big clog between the house and septic. He was right and his suggestion fixed it and now our house can return to normal!! I would 100% recommend Septic Service Pro and will definitely use them when it comes time to do the septic pump. I was hearing a louder than normal noise from my ejector pump. The tech came out and inspected the two ejector pumps He also explained why I was hearing the noise. I had septic tank full issue and came in here to pick a company. All the reviews on Septic Service Pro were glowing, save for one where apparently the reviewer had confused this company with another. I chose to use this company and the Pro at the end of the name says it all. The appointment was made and the service guy actually was able to come early, the tank was located quickly, the hole was dug and backfilled neatly, and my tank was emptied promptly. The whole job took less than an hour. The price was very fair, and from what I could tell, very competitive. If you have septic issues, and you will eventually, this is your company. 5 stars doesn't give them enough credit so I'm going to verbally add one more here to my review. We were amazed when Septic Service Pro came out and fixed it on the same day. Nick and company obviously knew what they were doing, were extremely professional, explained how the system worked, dug to access the septic tank and gain access, and found and corrected the problem, all within a few hours. They were very transparent with their prices, charged a reasonable rate for such a big job, replaced the lines, and cleaned everything out and cleaned up after the job. Called for an appointment to address wet yard. Scheduler asked if I needed tank pumped, said."No. We pumped two months ago" and was told OK and was told Wednesday. On Wednesday received a vague text that said "can't make the appointment today. Call to reschedule". Rescheduled for the following day. Guy in a backhoe shows up and said he was told we needed to pump tank. Told him No, we were clear that had been done and we needed someone to check lines. He left and said he was going to "find his partner that did that" and he was never seen or heard from again. Poor customer service, weak attention to details. read more

I went with Septic Service Pro and I can not tell you how glad I went with them. He "Mike" was professional, explained everything to me and taught me stuff I had no idea about. The owner set it up. They called to confirm everything as promised. Everything went as promised. Here is the kicker... when it was all said and done "Mike" told me my tank was smaller than I thought. Phillip listened to the history and then shared his knowledge and experience of old septic tanks and fields and gave a recommendation on how to proceed with last minute negotiations on buying the home. He gave solid, grounding advice and had no financial stake - he was simply willing to take the time. We avoided tearing up the front and back yards of a house and "strong arming the seller" (at the recommendation of a different company) needlessly and spending money up front that could be saved for a later, actual needed repair. I had this company highly recommended for me from my sister. Nick came out with his wife and he told me up front that pumping might be the fix but if there is anything extra he would tell me along the way. House was built in 88 and never been serviced. I called this company yesterday and asked them to come pump the septic tank. Steven arrived on time and was very professional. He did everything he said he would for the price that I was quoted from Clarence, the owner, when I scheduled the service. When he discovered that the drain field line wasn't working properly, he suggested pumping the drain line, adding chemicals, and installing a pvct. for a cost of 1240. Before agreeing, I called several friends and acquaintances and asked their opinion. All said that they didn't think it was a good idea and that the chemicals would not be effective.I agreed to have the work done as I had been told several times that the work was guaranteed for as long as I owned the home; however, when I talked to Clarence on the phone, he told me that if these procedures didn't fix the problem, the best he would do would be to refund half the 1240. When I told him that would leave me right where I am now minus 620 dollars, he responded that he would not guarantee the work and then have to cover a $6000 drain field issue, which, of course, I was not asking him to do. I simply wanted my issue fixed. When I told him as much, his response was, "How do you want me to fix it?" I've tried to keep emotion out of this review and simply summarize the experience. I contacted Septic Service Pro on 1-10-14 and scheduled a pumping of my septic tank for 1-13-14 and they did arrive on time. The lead technician told me exactly what they were to do and if any issues, would let me know before re-covering the tank. They held true to their word and had me flush the toilets several time to make sure lines were not clogged and had good pressure to it. Fantastic company and most importantly, HONEST. I am in the process of purchasing a home with an existing septic tank. I've never had a home with a septic tank so I called Septic Service Pro to schedule a buyers inspection. After some initial email correspondence, I called and spoke with Philip. He provided a lot of information and patiently answered all my questions. I mentioned the seller recently had the septic tank inspected but the report looked incomplete. He took time to go over the report and highlighted key items I should be interested in. THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!! This company came out to pump my septic tank, and they did. The technician assured me everything was in order. I called them after a week trying to get inspection letter, they said it was $50 more than what I had paid initially. The technician called me the next day, stating that they had to dig again. I talk to the manager who was very rude from the minute he picked up the phone. I called other companies to compare the situation, and all the other companies charge $50-$75 for the septic tank they had already pumped. How would they close the septic tank to begin with if it was not working properly. I HAVE NEVER, NEVER, HEARD OF ANYTHING LIKE THIS. JUST WANT TO ROB PEOPLE. read more

My septic tank is old (37 yrs) and rather suddenly started backing up. Found that the pipe on the inside that is supposed to keep surface solids from entering the drain field had deteriorated and fallen off (solids blocking drain field) and the backup had plugged the incoming line from the house. The company (Steven) actually did 5 star work, sucking out the drain field, replacing the failed pipe, jetting the incoming line, but I felt a 1 star deduction was necessary for two things. First, the cost of the work should have been about $300 less. Second, they were unable to complete the work in one day since it wasn't started until right after lunch and the truck had to be taken to empty it's tank and didn't get back until it was getting dark. read more

Great company! They gave me a rough idea of the cost over the phone. Came out to my house gave a fair estimate. After digging they found that it would cost a bit more (based on the condition and age of my septic tank) but DID NOT charge me a dime extra!!! The saved me a ton of money by knowing how to fix my problem instead of suggesting that I replace my drain field (like the other three companies did). Worked late into the night and completed the job. Plus left the work area looking better than when they started.
