One was due to an icemaker connection. One was due to a fitting under another sink to the cold water. The part to repair the leak under the sink to the cold water, at Home Depot is $12. To repair the line that went to the ice machine, required the pipe being cut and fitted with a pec pipe clamp with a new cold water connection. Both parts under $35. To do this, you needed to turn the water off at the main. Literally taking under five minutes to turn the water off and let the water drain in the sinks so that there was no water to leak while the repair was being done. I had to make a doctors appointment, and had asked for a 30 min heads up in order to be able to figure something out. He showed up quickly and gave no warning as I was walking out the door for the appointment ( my wife was off and would help me). If you know how hard it is to make an appt with a doctor, you know the frustration. I had to reschedule and miss my appointment as my wife would have been bulldozed by the BS. This appt was the reason I was off. The person who showed up at my door, said that no one ever told him to make that phone call. He was friendly and I was friendly. I noticed his boots were dirty with dried mud. I did not ask him to remove them. He should've worn booties, which most repairman carry with them when they enter a home. It's just common courtesy. I was told it would cost $85 for them to make the repair call, and the $85 would be applied to the repair cost. The plumber that showed up gave me a quote of $250. It was excessive, but I was stuck.. and that's the position we were in. Either you pay $85 for nothing or you pay $250. It's almost like ransom. When I asked him if there was any movement in the price, to a reasonable $200, he said no. He didn't even want to make the call. I had to agree to it because it was a waste of time and I needed to get to my appt. When he wrote up the agreement, it was $360 now. I said how could that be $360? We were just talking about $200, and we had already agreed to $250? When I looked at the work order, he had incorporated the $85 service fee on top of the 250, and the charges for the parts, which were exaggerated to bring the total to $360. When I caught the "error", I said I thought the $85 was supposed to be added towards the price of the repair.. if I did the repair? Then he played dumb, well let me call in and find out. And they brought it back to $250 all inclusive. Again, his response was.. I didn't know, no one told me. That's the second time he said that to me in the same conversation. How could you not know that there is an $85 fee that goes towards the repair when that's your job to know that? I never once raised my voice to that man, and I specifically said to him ...I don't blame him for the crazy pricing. Settled, I signed the agreement for the work at $250. And THAT was ridiculous. He had to go to the store to buy the parts at Home Depot. Which I find quite hard to believe that as a plumber you don't have basic things inside of your truck. I WAITED 2.5 HOURS FOR HIM TO RETURN. I had an appt that I had to get to ...and I would now miss it because of their childish game of NOT COMING BACK while having me waiting 2.5 hours. NOT EVEN A PHONE CALL!! I called the "company" several times. No one picked up the phone purposely, as it's a cell phone business. I finally sent a text to the owner that I was leaving negative feedback. His response was, they decided not to do the repair, because of the way I treated the repairman. Imagine...a $110 mistake on top of an already outrageous quote, Then GHOSTING the client after being caught ripping them off... "accidentally". Why was I being punished for their "error"? They were caught trying to cheat me and were mad they got caught! It seems that ripping people off has become the norm for lots of trades. There's always a scam it seems. I WOULD NEVER recommend Sloggy Plumbing to anyone. I did not embellish anything. I related EXACTLY what happened to me. Can you imagine a business being so unprofessional as to just disappear in the middle of a job that they signed onto? They left the cabinet doors open, lights on, and they left a person waiting 2 1/2 hours!! If you use Sloggy Plumbing ...you are taking a gamble. They're a joke! STAY AWAY FROM SLOGGY PLUMBING...Find a respectable and honest plumber that will treat you right.

After I quoted the work with multiple plumbing companies I received quotes only for the labor in all the possible range (from $2,500 to $800). I was extremely disappointed because coming from the mechanical/technical world I knew they were overcharging me as crazy. After reading the reviews I decided to contact these guys. And everything other customer say is true, Chris answer my questions super fast he allow me to send him pics and explanation of the work needed by text message and gave me a quote through the same way. More than reasonable price and no hidden costs. At the end I bought the heater and installation with them. Next day they were at my home installing the device. Roy, the person who came to install the heater and modify the pipes was amazing. He knew what he was doing and was able to explain each step to me. Also he didn't take shortcuts and was very thorough in everything he did. Was really a pleasure to deal with him. My recommendation is quote with a lot of companies if you want. This review has been four years in the making. In 2019, my house main line had a leak between the…read moremeter and the front porch. I called around and he quoted $500 for the repair. I told him to dig in the lawn to find the leak, but he said he wasn't sure where the line ran, so he broke up one side of my walkway and dug a hole close to the porch where he thought the leak was, but it wasn't there. He then said he had to pull the pipe out and replace it with a new length and that would fix the leak. So he did that and patched my walkway badly with a poor quality concrete fix. The leak was fixed, but then he charged me $1500 due to the extra work, even though I told him where he should dig. I felt kicked in the guts, but because I didn't want to have any problems with the guy because of a payment dispute, I paid him and decided not to use him again. So this morning, four years later, I turned on my faucet and got nothing but air. I saw that there was a bad leak close to the walkway where the other patch was made, so I turned off my water and called up a certified plumber (Aaron Plumbing - very professional). Once they dug down to the pipe, they saw that the plumber used four elbow shark bite connectors instead of just one (because I guess he didn't have the parts). But, then I found out from my current plumber that shark bite fittings are not certified for underground connections. One of the connections had corroded and burst. They asked me how much I paid for the previous repair, and when I told them, they said I got ripped off. Almost $2K later, the bad repair from Right on Time Plumbing was fixed. So that's why I'm writing this review after all this time. They are cowboys and not working to code. Also, be sure to get all quotes up front and hold them to it. Or better yet, just avoid them altogether and go with a licensed plumber.

We have repeatedly requested for him to come make repairs for at least 18 mos now. We paid Jacob Coleman (I'm sure we overpaid) $5200 bc we expected top of the line plumbing and service and he claims to guarantee his work for 5 years. In our 1/2 bath, the toilet is 5" inches away from the back wall. The toilet in our main bath is not vented and the drain passes our shower. And now our cold water pressure has severely dropped to find that our pipes are clogged with rough sawdust from him cutting unnecessarily into our joists. We have contacted him many times (at least 10) for him occasionally reply and give us a day/time that he will come, but he never shows and doesn't communicate that he's not coming either. $5K half wasted and we don't have anymore money to pay someone else to fix it.

Five years ago, we bought our house and had it pumped just for peace of mind for moving in. We were getting an odor in our house now five years later, so of course I called them again. Upon inspection, they said there was damage to the tank and that was why we were getting the odor, and said it would be $3500 to repair. We would need to pump the tank either before or after. So I told him to go ahead and just pump it. They were here about 15 minutes pumping and charged me $450 which is their standard rate apparently. They cannot access the second lid and according to AI a septic company should pump out of both lids when they do a pumping job for 1000+ tank. Anyway, after the job was done, I paid them, actually before the job was done. I then had a Plummer inspect and said everything was in working mortar and then we located the source of the smell, which was a cut drain pipe from some flooring we had redone, and the drain pipe was never capped so the fumes were coming straight in from the septic tank into our laundry room. After a five dollar tap was put on the smell was eliminated. I then called Pumpco back again telling them that I thought it was unfair to spend 15 minutes for $450. His response was that they don't pump for less than $450, despite the fact that they did five years ago only charged me 200+ dollars because the tank didn't really need pumping. He also told me that you only have to access one lid to be able to pump a septic tank. Upon saying that I wasn't really talking to a reasonable person that was worried about future business, despite the fact that I'd love him a very positive view five years ago, it was obvious just take the money and run. I don't even need a new septic repair either as they were trying to get 3500 more dollars out of me. Originally I called about the odor, and was told they would give a free inspection. I said I would be more than happy to tip the workers for their time and had $40 in my pocket ready to do so. What I got was a whole different experience. I'm not saying they're an accurate about being able to pump from one tank instead of both lids, which one was inaccessible. So make your own decisions. I'm just sharing this so that you can be aware. Just be cautious. In my mind, for 20 minutes of time and hooking up a hose to a tank shouldn't have cost me more than 200- $250. That's just my opinion and that's all it is. And it's just a two person home and probably didn't need it anyway.
