    Peppermint Mocha
    Samantha D.

A good spot to get some work done, but everyone seems to know it. The place was packed on a Friday afternoon, with almost everyone working on their laptops. Their wifi reaches outside to their parklet, so it wasn't a problem. However, there aren't any outlets there. Make sure to come with your devices fully charged in case. They still have their winter specials menu. The peppermint mocha had a light amount of peppermint syrup. It stayed warm for quite a bit despite being outside. Coffee is strong. The mocha is just maybe a bit too sweet with all the chocolate. It's not a bad place to get work done. Just keep in mind that you might end up working in the parklet.

Grabbed an iced and hot matcha and a drip coffee from this little coffee shop. Cute place and drinks made well

Very cute coffee shop with lots of option. Cold brew was strong. The cappuccino was tasty and well balanced. Will be back.

Cozy cafe with large array of seating available. A lot of people come and go for drinks, few sit in which was nice. Had the chocolate banana walnut muffin which was pretty good, ordered the almond milk latte with honey (appreciated that they put it on the side for me). Whew, I wasn't expecting the large size of this cup haha.

Absolute Coffee is my favorite coffee shop in Brooklyn. They have their own coffee beans. The cashiers/owner are very nice. You can tell they care about their customers. I hadn't been here in a while. When I was ordering an ice coffee, I asked for a Dough doughnut. Unfortunately, they stopped carrying their doughnuts. They do offer loyalty card. Every coffee purchase, you get a punch on your card. I'm looking forward to coming back here.

Came here for some coffee and quick breakfast. It's a nice, cozy little spot with good coffee and good sandwiches. It seems difficult to get a seat inside, but the outdoor seating is pretty decent too, although they were having some issues with the heat lamps melting everyone on a relatively warm day when we went. Good spot to hit up before going for a walk by the piers. Also, their cold brew tasted really good - usually I can't even tell cold brews apart but this one tasted great.

It's "support a local business, Sunday"... today was Absolute Coffee, down on Atlantic Ave in Brooklyn. With a day that's nearing 60 degrees, it's easy to utilize their outdoor seating area which fits 12 people comfortably... 6 two-seater tables that are covered by a large, white tarp. The indoor space is clean, rather simple, adheres to Covid regulations and has an A rating from the department of health. That was a mouthful, but a concern of patrons these days so yes, feel good about Absolute's product and how they're conducting business. On to the oat cappuccino! They served up a very, very good beverage. The oat milk was well balanced along with the temperature being pretty close to perfect, making for a great post-workout, people watching, enjoying the day kind of drink. Heads up that Absolute also has bites to eat and a nice selection of teas for those who are not into the coffee scene. Show some support and check this place out!

Absolute Coffee is definitely one of the best coffee shops in Brooklyn. The flavor of their espresso is *amazing.* Not only that, but the owner of Absolute has been staying open during the Coronavirus closures and running his business totally solo. I purchased a bag of coffee to pop into my French press at home, and it's SO good - the Colombian El Jefe. If you live within a 15min walking distance, enjoy a leisurely walk on the empty sidewalks and make your way to Absolute to help support a soldier of an owner. OH, and then you can pop over to Free Range Wines next door.

The Drip Coffee With The Vegan Banana Nut Bread

Absolute goodness. It isn't hard to find coffee around here. Too easy to be honest. Getting actual good coffee is more difficult. You can get that here along with some treats. Coffee is the main thing here of course. It has a nice smell as soon as you come in. The inside is cozy and feels like a living room. Coffee comes in large mugs. They also have things to eat like pastries. It's $2.50 for a medium drip coffee. This is simple but it's still one of the best coffees I've had around here. I also like getting something to eat. They have lots of good looking pastries, including some that are vegan. It's about $3 for a piece of the vegan banana nut bread. This is a small piece, but it's dense and so sweet. It has a welcoming atmosphere. It's not as obnoxiously hipster as you expect. The inside doesn't have much room but there's a few tables.

The right morning pick me up! Came in for a quick latte which a splash of Carmel. The latte was very smooth and beans strong. The price is what you would expect from the location but overall a great cup of Java! I will be back tomorrow morning!

There's a couple of tables in a small store. Above the register there's a menu board resembling a train departures board, cycling through the options (it looks neat, but the printed out menu on your right is a lot more practical). There's a cooler with drinks and salads as you enter on the right. The sandwiches, however, are something special. On my first visit I went with something familiar, the Mean Streets (their Italian sandwich). The bread itself is fantastic (locally baked), and the toppings delicious as well (if I recall correctly the dressings are house made). Pleasantly, they also give you a paper plate with your order, which is a nice touch compared to eating off a wrapper. I enjoyed the first sandwich so much I came back the next day to try the No Sleep Til Gravesend. The sandwich is essentially a hot roast beef sandwich, with a jus on the sandwich reminiscent of a French Dip. Perfect on a cold, rainy day. Overall, 1 of 1 has great (and mostly house made) ingredients and great execution. There's a level of creativity on the menu that you rarely see elsewhere in the city. 1 of 1 is among the best sandwich shops in the city, and a very welcome addition to the area.

When the hype got large enough, the owner decided to start a pizzeria and the rest is not history. This is one of the more worthwhile TGTG orders to me. Expensive though, about $55 dollars for a vegan 18-inch Margherita pie with 3 toppings. Was it worth it for the experience? Yes. Would I recommend to someone who wanted to try it at least once for a good dairy-free pizza? Absolutely, I couldn't even tell this was vegan cheese. Would I get it again? Maybe (?) once in a while as a treat with price being the only barrier. Service 5/5: This was great. I came here the other day to inquire about their vegan pizza and just wanted to try a slice. The person found his manager to talk to me about this. They were super friendly and explained to me the situation. This location only sold vegan options in full pies and their other DOP Fast Life location does sell vegan slices, but they didn't try to push me to buy. I came back today and the staff today were also very welcoming. Ambiance 5/5: Rustic red brick interior with warm lighting. It was definitely bustling on a Friday night. Food 5/5: Delicious pizza. I do regret that I ate it cold after driving 30 minutes to pick it up so I did not get the full experience. But the crust was still crunchy. I do wish the toppings were a little heavier but the tomato chunks in the sauce tasted very fresh. A very classic New York style pizza and I couldn't even tell it wasn't real cheese. Vegan garlic knots were great too.
