My basement drain had started backing up with water coming up so we knew it was time to have it snaked out. Luckily, I had an Able Master's sticker on my sewer pipe next to the cleanout because there are so many similar sounding business names I can never remember which service was here last. Fred and Jason came within hours of my call. They inspected and provided a very reasonable quote for the work. It' likely a tree root started the issue but they ran the snake 100 feet just to be sure they hit the main line. Afterwards - because of concern over some dark discoloration, Fred ran his camera down the line and visually inspected everything just to be sure there wasn't something more serious needing to be addressed. They even offered to cleanup but I declined since the whole basement floor needed to be sanitized. Super nice people - with plenty of free "dad advice". We all know there are companies that will take advantage of the elderly. My mom called out two plumbers to unclog her sewer drain, like she does every year. The second plumber came out and went to the clean out on the outside of the house, he then comes back to my mom and tells her the clean out was put in wrong, and it would cost her 12k to fix, charged her nearly $200 dollars and touched nothing. Took her money and left, that was the Pipe Doctor. That is a ripoff! We called Able Master out and he went right to work and was done in 20 minute. Able Master came to my newly purchased home to clean my sewer drain. The drain was not the only problem. With his experience, he knew this before he started any work. He returned with the extra equipment and cleaned the sewer and tiles. The owner and his son where very helpful, they explained everything without talking down to me. Plus they showed me the tree roots as they "struggling" to get them out, they were very determined. They went above and beyond to get those roots and BIG thanks!! I had a problem with water on the basement floor and I wasn't sure why. I had our plumber out and he suggested I call Fred, the owner. Fred, and his son, was out within 1/2 hour (was in my neighborhood). Within 1/2 hour of that the problem was solved. There is a drain under our furnace that was completely blocked by tree roots so the drainage from the AC couldn't go anywhere. Thanks to his quick work, I was still able to make it to a doctor's appointment and I can run the AC without fear of more water in my basement. Excellent job! After it was determined that I did not have a broken sewer line from the clean out to the road, I called Able Master to remove a severely clogged sewer line. Arrived within an hour which in itself is amazing promptness! I could not believe how thorough and efficient Fred is!
