I tried to stop the flow but couldn't. I phoned Mark and he responded within 10 minutes. I told him that I was in Ann Arbor and he didn't seem fazed at coming from Tecumseh to do the job. He arrived within the hour, which I thought was really great for anytime, especially a holiday (Easter) weekend. He needed to replace a part and had to go to Home Depot. He later showed me the broken part and said it was a Moen. ( It was original to the house, which is 18 years old. He said he liked another brand better, but I forgot what brand that was, riveted on what else might need replacing soon). He charged a reasonable amount, especially given travel time and off hours. He is a Licensed Master Plumber and was extremely pleasant and fair.

I said wow I'm in the wrong business, I didn't know anyone made $250 in 15 minutes and he said the price has gone up And started saying that he had to get his oil changed in his truck and it cost over $100. I'm not sure what that has to do with anything cause we all get our oil changed. Also he doesn't know how to knock on the door, he opened the door and stuck his head in yelling my name as if we were friends scaring my children while doing this. I did have this same company out close to 2 years ago and it was only $125 . Not sure inflation is that bad. Our situation had to get dealt with so I couldn't call around and I should not have assumed that this company hadn't gone money hungry, so I was shocked about the cost, I do understand cost of stuff and if he was here for hours but owners of companies can use discrepancy if it's a fast job. I won't use them anymore.

The person who came out to do the installation was friendly and professional and did a perfect job including expanding the existing rim joist hole to the proper size. All of this was done for the price of the service call.
