I chose him not because of the price (although he was the cheapest) but because he was the most knowledgeable and was not trying to sell me up. To the contrary he was talking me out of the job. It took longer then expected but I'm not upset about that since they seemed to have done a thorough job and were very attentive when I pointed out areas I wanted addressed. Problems started when I had a leak at the base of my shower on the side with the shower arm and controls. The leak went into the basement and through the wall which caused massive damage to my brand new closet system in my walk in closet and the floor in there on the other side of the wall from the shower. I was left with over $5,000 in damages. I couldn't file an insurance claim really. I have renters that share my home with me and I had to evict a renter for severe damage to my basement and the basement bedroom he was living in. Due to the amount of damage we had to split it into 4 claims. So they told me if I filed another claim, I wouldn't be able to file anymore for 7 years. DreamMaker did agree to fix the problems but they told me it would take a few months because there was a back log on acquiring materials. They came out and caulked the area where the leak was because I had company coming and I needed the shower operational. It was my understanding that the temporary fix was good until they were able to repair it permanently. I was fine with that. A few months went by and there was no follow up from them at all. I sent an e-mail and 3 days went by so I contacted a lawyer to send them my intent to go to court. When I called for their fax number and the employee at DreamMaker realized what I was doing, they suddenly became very responsive. However, I had another representative call and say to me, we did everything we said we were going to do on the appropriate time schedule. You weren't supposed to be using the shower anyway. I felt like they were victim blaming and shaming me. If they somehow thought that would win my business again, then I don't know what the hell they were thinking. So the bathroom originally looked nice, but they're working on it right now and they tore out the shower and the tile floor they just put in. I know mistakes happen, but given the leak, the victim blaming and shaming, the lack of follow up, and their lack of concern for how much I pad out in damages, I cannot recommend them to anyone.

He was on my roof a couple days later, popped the siding back in, and secured it further ensuring it stays in place for the next wind storm. His work offer was well written and similar cost to others. I decided to go with him after reading some reviews on his page. I am sad to report that after delay of the project, then asking for money because of said delay, then saying the home was ready when the projects weren't complete I took possession of the home and paid in full as we were in a time schedule. Following is a list of things that I found very unsatisfying: The floor was refinished but there are spots that have streaks and places that look like they were stained. The paint job they did in the main house area was not doe. Well, looked like maybe only primer was used? Also the window sills, where the blinds came off, etc, were not painted or holes filled in. The paint job in the basement was half done. I had to ask to have the heat/air ducts painted. Then not all were done. The electrical in pretty much the entire house was not wired correctly. I had to hire someone else to get the fans working properly, the lights to work with correct switches, etc. The washer was not hooked up and the dryer gas was off. The dishwasher was wired and hooked incorrectly. Was missing the kick plate and was crooked. I had to have a new person reinstall. They forgot the new bathroom fans but after requesting these they were installed, very small and the paint was never touched up or made right around them. There were greasy marks in new paint job, splashes in walls of idk what and the paint we smashed for (high quality washable paint) was not used. The locks installed were not installed correctly, and one had been taken over by the owner and we had to buy a new one (expensive!) I can't recommend this company.
