I decided to purchase the lights from him and enter into a deal for annual service and a 5 year guarantee on the lights back in 2018. Fast forward to November 2021 to where this turns from a Christmas story to a horror story in the blink of an eye. Back in August I receive a text asking if I would like my lights hung again this year just like years past and "oh by the way I have upped the price 15%". I indicate that yes I would like to them hung in early November similar to prior years. November comes so I reach out to make sure Zoro has me on the schedule and receive the following reply "YES" November 30th. Although this is not what I requested I reply back with that would be fine. In the afternoon of November 30th I reach out to make sure they are still going to arrive that day and I am told the following: "unfortunately no, my guy fell off the ladder we are in urgent care. IDK when where or how at this point bc my guys safety is first. I am sorry I will get back to you when I know more" I replied back that I hope his crew would be ok, slightly confused by the message I asked if that means he will not be installing my lights. The response I got back form Zoro was "let me worry about your lights I will drop them off tomorrow". Well 90 minutes later their truck pulls up with 4 guys in it, one jumps out grabs a box of lights on leaves them on my porch. My wife comes to the door to ask what's going on and not a word was mentioned they just turned and walked away. Just what am I going to do with a ball of lights in a bin when I hired this service so I didn't have to hang them, just super frustrated at this point so I look at reviews on this company? Yep he has pulled the same stunt for years. I chose this company over others because I saw interviews from many local TV stations on the quality of his work. This is why I feel the real story needs to be told, he is quick to take your money to buy the lights but when it comes to following through he is a joke. This has taken the joy out of the season and I would hate for others to get taken as well. His prices are super high and you will end up with less than all your lights returned to your porch one day.
