Noonans price quote for an electrical upgrade was blatant price gouging. Hired another master electrician at half the price that Noonan was charging. Always get a second opinion. read more

John and Adam were excellent to work with. They were both extremely considerate and polite from beginning to end of the job. They never hesitated to check with me for approval or input during every step of the job! They are a credit to themselves and to Noonan Electrical Services!! I will always call Noonan Electrical Services for all future work on my home and recommend them to the members in my HOA and family members. Work that was completed was changing out original 1978 Pushomatic 20 circuit service to a new Siemens 40 circuit service and upgrade service for installing a Hot Tub. Installed 3 new basement outlets with GFI protection and 2 new grounding rods 9/16/22. Noonan electrical services may not be the lowest quote but they definitely within reason to comparable quotes and their quality of work is worth it!!! read more

I had numerous electric tasks I need Noonan for. New circuit box, rewiring, out door receptacle added, tv mounted with electric outlet behind tv, with components hole fished behind the wall. Last but not least I had them put in can lighting on a dimmer switch. They were professional, on time and I felt good about services performed from start to finish. All work done I think the price fair too. I would recommend to anyone. My neighbors used them and were just as happy! read more

I have had them out twice to my house and both times they did amazing work. Kudos to Tim and Tristan. Tim came out and gave me a dedicated circuit for my microwave. Tristan came out and completed some work that another electrician didn't complete. Thank you so much for making my life easier. I will only use Noonan from now on. read more

I would highly recommend Noonan Electrical Services! Our home is a new build and within our one year warranty, we had a flickering light in the bedroom and the builders' electrician spent an hour and a half trying to figure it out and failed. Then that same company left us with no power at all in that same room. We hired Noonan, they were professional, on time (actually early), wore masks, figured it out in less than an hour and resolved our power. Happy to have found such a reliable and professional company. read more

Noonan Electrical Services - Bedroom light/fan and plug working correctly! - Electricians Near Me - Livonia, Michigan

We used Noonan again for electrical work and they were quick, friendly and we are very pleased with their service.

Such a great company and experience. I only had to make 1 call to get an appointment within 48 hours. I was given a 2 hour appointment window and even received a call during that timeframe to let me know my electrician would be there in the second half of the window. Mike, our electrician, was knowledgeable, friendly and fast!! I highly recommend this company. So refreshing to see a business take such care and pride through every step. read more

They were very polite on the phone. (Hence, 2 stars) We agreed on an appointment for Tuesday. On Sunday before, I received an email confirming an appointment for Monday. When I emailed back, telling them we had an appointment for Tuesday, not Monday, I was told that Tuesday wasn't available and that according to their records, I was on the schedule for Monday for an arrival time of 9:30-10:30. A little frustrated, I told them I could make it work and changed my schedule to accommodate them. Then I got another email showing an arrival time of 9:30-11:30. Confused again and frankly, a little annoyed, I waited and waited. When they didnt show up by 11:35, I called and was told he was probably running behind. I understand running behind, but we all have cell phones these days. A text would have been appreciated. Other workers have used it, no problem. Not acceptable. I've found that when a relationship starts out like this one did with so many inconsistencies and frustrations, it's best to just find someone else to do the work. read more

Pluses: * Pricing backed up quotes given, fair prices. * They gave an arrival time estimate (NOT "be home all day"). * Prices by the job, not hour (some people linger and you dont know how much youll owe!). * Efficient but fast. I was surprised how much they did in a short period. * Also, it was nice that they did try to determine if a fixture could be saved vs. just install new. read more

I was having voltage fluctuation issues in my 80 year old home, which is still run with BUSS fuses. Lights were dimming. There was not enough power to run the blow dryer or refridgerator. Given the age of the house, and some of the wiring, I was concerned about a fire, at worst, and my appliances burning out, at best. I called 4 electricans on a Saturday morning at 7am (two of whom offered "24/7 emergency services"). Mike was the only one who called me back. Mike was up front about the costs for the service call, and the charges per hour for the technician. No mystery. No surprises. He gave me the option of either paying to have someone come out on Saturday, or waiting until Monday for a lower rate. Within an hour, he had a professional, mature technician out, who went right to work assessing my problem. He asked lots of questions, and ran lots of tests. He gave the impression of knowing exactly what he was doing, and updated me periodically on what he was discovering about my issue. He established that my electrical issue was at the pole, and I called DTE. Having a professional, licensed, competent electrician assure me that my problem was not INSIDE the house was worth every dime. When I next need an electrician, I will just make Noonan my first call. read more

Noonan is the best! I had six different plumbers out to quote a potential panel upgrade and some additional work, and everyone had a different recommendation as to what needed to be done. Noonan's was not the lowest price, but it was a fair price and their recommendations made the most sense. The crew showed up on time, got the work done and charged the quoted price even though the job was more work than anticipated (old house with lots of poorly done work in the past). Everyone I spoke with or interacted with was friendly and respectful. Highly recommend! read more

They actually answered their phone! And scheduled an appointment immediately. Came out and found the problem that others could not. And the charge was very reasonable. Jay Noonan was here and is super nice and obviously great at what he does! Would use again, and definitely recommend. read more

Excellent service. Great prices. Highly recommend. I had four things done in my home today: a ceiling fan install and mount in a vaulted ceiling, a light install and mount in another room, four outlets installed and fixing another small problem. The guys were prompt and professional. Everything was checked and cleaned up. They didn't create a single hole to repair -- which is always the fear. They also pointed out some potential other problems. When the next projects come up, I'll be calling Noonan. read more

We requested that Noonan install two ceiling fans and a heat lamp in our bathroom. When the ceiling fans were installed, they were installed on high speed. We were unable to control the speed of the fan. We could only switch the fan off and on. I emailed the owner and conveyed our concern. We did not receive a response. My husband called about a week later and were told that Noonan could come out and install a speed control for the fans at an additional charge. After the initial quote, we waited about 4 weeks to have the install completed. The conversation about the fan speed, how it was going to be switched, etc should have occurred at the time of the quote OR before the installation. We have been advised it will be an additional charge and another service call to complete the installation to our satisfaction. The work that Noonan did was quality but unfortunately because no one took the time to understand our needs, we didn't get what we wanted. read more

Called for help installing two chandeliers. Person on the phone was very pleasant and got back with an estimate within the hour. I was fortunate to have two extremely professional electricians who did quality work. They kept their promise on price and helped clean up afterward. I have found my electricians for all future work. Thank you Noonan Electrical Services. read more

We had what we thought was a simply problem with the electricity going out in one part of the house. Initially we thought it was just a fuse that had to be reset. After trying that and it not working, we called Noonan Electrical Service. Mike came out the next morning so the service was quick. Because it was only in our family room and laundry room that was affected we weren't too inconvenienced. Turned out he was here all day fixing the complex problem. He was very educated and worked until he solved the problem. We would highly recommend Noonan Electrical Service!! read more
