I hardly every post reviews but these guys deserve all the stars!! First time homeowner here. I bought 100 year old house and although fairly updated it needed considerable electrical work. Woodward Electrical hooked me up with everything I needed - fixed old outlets, added new outlets (including an outdoor outlet), installed a wall heater in my upstairs bathroom, replaced old ceiling light fixture, put up fan, etc. There's nothing these guys can't do! If you care about your house and safety, find a different electrician. They unplugged my sump pump without telling me and my basement proceeded to flood while I was out of town. Dirk lied to me and said he would take care of it, knowing it was his guy's fault, but he ghosted me and I'm unable to reach him. Aside from the flood, his guys had to come back TWICE because I found that my refrigerator and dryer were not working in days following their work. Stay away at all costs. No attention to detail, terrible customer service and caused significant home damage. read more

I had Woodward Electric here in June to fix a whole-house attic fan. Two months later, it broke again. Called and spoke to Dirk, the owner. Told me he didn't think it could be fixed again but he would research an alternate motor. He said he'd call back after his research. "We'll get you fixed up." NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN. I called his number multiple times. Must have my number blocked as he never picked up. Can't even leave a message as "Mail Box is full". A pretty miserable way to treat a customer. At least give me a reference for someone who might be able to help. Nothing. Not even half a star, really. read more

Absolutely fantastic electricians! I can't compliment them enough. After calling them, they took my name down and then scheduled me fairly quickly. Dwight came out this afternoon and fixed an electrical socket that I had mangled when trying to do it myself. It's an old house with old wiring, and I had seriously spent hours trying to get it working. He fixed it in a matter of minutes. He then switched out a number of sockets around my place and installed a vent hood above my stove (that required new wiring, as we had redone our kitchen). He was extremely knowledgable, professional, and friendly. I can't recommend them highly enough, I made a yelp account just to leave this review. If you need electrical work done go with Woodward Electrical! Just wanted to add to my previous review--Dwight came out again to wire a security camera/light as well as an indoor light. He did a great job. It took a bit of time to get him out b/c I think the central call line has some issues with getting in touch with people, so if you don't get a call back soon after you call just call them back! After my experience with Woodward Electrical Services, I would not recommend their services. My husband and I hired Woodward Electrical Services to fix the whole house fan in our home. An electrician came to evaluate the fan and replaced the switch, however, the repair did not work. We called and the electrician came to the house again, but was unable to fix the problem - although they did not charge us for the second visit. He stated that he needed to order a part. After a week without hearing from the company, we tried to contact them. We called at least ten times without a response. The call goes to an answering service in another state. The answering service stated to me that they then send a text message to the business owner with the information from the customer call. Eventually, I went to the address listed for Woodward Electrical Services. The address is a residential home - the person who answered the door stated that the owner of the business did live at this address and provided me with the owner's cell phone number. I left two messages for the owner, however, I did not hear back. Frustrated with the lack of response from Woodward Electric, I contacted the Better Business Bureau to file a formal complaint. The BBB was unable to get a hold of Woodward Electrical Services as well. It has been three months since we originally contacted Woodward Electrical Services, and unfortunately, we are out $150 and our house fan is still broken. read more

I'm so upset, I called at 830 pm, they said in Yelp they are open until 10 pm. I tell them my problem the lady said someone will call me back today to come and fix it today. After one hour of waiting and none calling back I call to find out that hours of operation are 8 am to 6pm!!! And someone will call me tomorrow after 8pm!!! Unacceptable! read more

I have used Dirk (Woodward Electrical) a few times and had been very happy with the quick response and quality of service/price...........until the last time. I contacted Dirk to do some electrical work in my kitchen because I was having it remodeled. He showed up did some work and he told me he would finish the rest of the electrical work when the kitchen remodel was finished. Well, I have left him a few messages over the past week and have not heard back from him. I am VERY dissatisfied with this sort of customer service!
