Fish Electric is great. Honestly! They are polite, diligent, knowledgeable and quick for the work that needed doing. Sean and TJ arrived within the scheduled time window and immediately began work. A few hours later and we now have a new microwave installed, two ceiling fans, a light fixture and a new switch for the kitchen light. I am so relieved to have a working home, finally. The previous owners had some really odd wiring put in and had the ceiling fans on dimmer switches, which is a great way to burn out the fan, so the dimmers were replaced with simple on/off switches. They also rewired the clothes dryer and put it on its own circuit. I'm very impressed. This has been one of the better experiences I've had with contractors. Sean and I also had some wild coincidences - the previous owner of my home moved and Fish Electric did some work on their new home a few years ago, then comes to the house they used to live in to finally correct all the electrical issues, which we had been putting off for years. High praise for Fish Electric! They're like doctors of electricity. You would do very well by contracting them as they will not let you down. They're very confident and proud of the work they do, which is much appreciated since we've had quite a few other contractors here for other issues who didn't seem to care one way or the other. I had ordered an outdoor camera for my house but didn't have a plug anywhere near it to install it, and also bought a dimmer switch for my dining room but took one look at the wiring once I got the old switch out and knew there was no way I was going to hook this thing up myself. I contacted Fish Electric through Yelp, and Sean quickly reached out with a quote for both and was at my house two weeks later. Sean installed the dimmer switch in what seemed like one minute. I was embarrassed thinking about how long it took me just to take the old plate off and try to get the wires off the old switch. He then started to install the outdoor outlet and had a few different box options for me to choose from. It was also installed pretty quickly, and he even offered to install the camera even though I didn't buy it through them. I thought that was super nice and not expected given he didn't charge me any more for it. The camera installation is so clean that you can barely tell it's even there. It would have looked 100x worse had I tried to attempt it myself. The whole process was simple and quick, and I appreciated that I could get the quote, schedule the installation, and pay my invoice all online without having to talk to someone. It was a quick and simple process, and the services were definitely worth the reasonable cost in order for it to all be done correctly and with minimal effort from myself. read more

They were able to come quick, were very professional and were able to install two power outlets and a RING doorbell (old doorbell was broken so there was some power issues that needed to be sorted out). These guys were awesome. Initially was told they were booked out 2 weeks, but got a call 2 days later because one of the electricians was in my area. I had some complicated switch issues (at least to me) and had already made a mess of it myself, and (Eric?) was able to troubleshoot, figure out which wires connected to which lights, and install new switches very quickly and for a great price. I only created this profile to only to talk about this company: I WOULD NOT recommend this company to anyone. They were speaking loudly while working and I could overhear them talking about how much they were over charging us. They were using racial slurs and left a trail of garbage wherever they worked.
