By explaining what electrical problems we were experiencing, he was already able to provide a ballpark estimate of what the cost would likely be. The final cost even ended up lower than his initial estimate. He was able to fit me in on the same day that I had called. He said he would give a heads up when he is on his way and he did that. He said he would arrive anywhere between 3:00pm to 5:00pm and actually arrived 3:00pm sharp. I lost power to part of my kitchen so after an internet search, I called Buzz Electric. They had someone over the same day that I called. Unfortunately, it was difficult troubleshooting my issue and it was getting late, so the electrician said that they would contact me in the morning. They were very prompt at calling me the next day and came out that morning. After some more troubleshooting, they figured out the issue and made the repair. They also took the time to put everything back to normal and clean up (even the things that I had messed with prior to them coming). Overall, I was very impressed with their professionalism and knowledge. The price for the service was very reasonable. The two electricians that I dealt with were fantastic and friendly. Tracy and his team helped to get our electrical switched from fuses to a circuit breaker box allowing us to bring my child home from the hospital without any more delays. We also had him back to switch all of the outlets to a 3 prong outlet and fix outdoor and indoor lighting in several rooms. I experienced a partial power outage in my home and needed an electrician pronto as this issue also affected my boiler. No fun when temperatures are in the 20's. I got the run around from another company the prior day; being told over the course of 4-hours that "someone was on the way". I eventually gave up and cancelled the appt. Called yesterday morning at 7:40 a.m. Mr. Tracey answered the phone and after I told him what was going on, and that we've been getting the runaround from other companies for the past three weeks. He then gave me an appointment time of 12-4 and told me the price of his services before coming out. He arrived at our house at 2:16. Immediately got the problem fixed and this sweet, kind man even got his ladder and changed the pot lights in my kitchen, because I thought they had went out with the electrical issue we had. I decided to switch my business to McGuire Electric. Initially Buzz was great. Came out as promised, tech was excellent. But, when a follow up issue developed, they said they'd come by that week and never showed. Left a message, never got a callback. When I called to re-schedule, they said they'd be at noon the following Thursday. 12:40 rolled around, no one showed, no one called. When I called, they claimed they never gave me a time but a "window" which wasn't the case. Life's too short to argue. I decided to go elsewhere. Too bad. Dennis is a great tech.
