My friend needed to find an electrician asap due to random power outages in parts of their home and no idea why. I called an electrician I've used in the past, but he was very busy. So I googled. Jim was the only one I called. He had two smaller jobs to finish that day and would text when he was on his way. He did exactly that. He got right to work and very thoroughly inspected both electrical panels. He checked into everything, asked questions and diagnosed the issue within 30 minutes. A wire was loose inside the meter box outside and sparked to the touch. It had been like that for 7 years from the original builder. He explained the issue, made some calls and said he would return the next morning to fix everything. I spoke with my friend the next day before lunch and everything was done and working perfectly. On febuary 16 th 2015 James Cox owner and liscensed electricaian dropped off 2 unliscensed, unsupervised, subcontactors to do a job in which he had been hired at 2635 Kingstowne. His blatent neglect resulted in the destruction of four condos, the death of a beloved famil pet and displacing 8 families. At no time did the owner or his "employees" try to get the residence out of the building or help in any way. They were not at the scene when the first responders arrived, strange for a man that called 911 to report the fire. PLEASE do not let this happen to you. Jim came out on a Saturday to correct a problem with the 220 line for my clothes dryer. I was very impressed with the speed with which Jim worked and his thoroughness of the task.
