Our experience with this company--particularly with the assigned project manager--was deeply…read moreupsetting and unacceptable from start to finish. The project manager Brandon Mazzacco, was consistently unprofessional, failed to communicate clearly, and generally did not appear to know what he was doing. He provided an inaccurate timeline at the outset and failed to consult with the work crews responsible for carrying out the job to ensure it was feasible. As a result, the timeline was extended at the very last minute--not once, but three separate times--which left our family displaced from our home for three times longer than we were originally told. The quality of the work performed was equally unacceptable. Much of the work was done poorly, and in several instances, it was completely incorrect. We repeatedly raised these concerns with the project manager, who failed to address them adequately. As a result, areas of our home were damaged--damage that could have and should have been avoided had the work been done with care, competence, respect and proper oversight. What is most disturbing, however, is the growing belief my wife and I share that this mistreatment and negligence were not just about incompetence, but deliberate. As a mixed-race gay couple, we could not help but notice the dismissive tone, condescension, and blatant lack of respect we received throughout the process. We cannot ignore the pattern of disregard and the persistent failure to correct mistakes that, in our view, went beyond negligence and bordered on discriminatory behavior. We expected a professional experience. What we received instead was disrespect, broken promises, poor workmanship, damage to our home, and a lingering sense that we were never treated as equal or worthy clients. No family should have to experience this--especially in their own home.

His work offer was well written and similar cost to others. I decided to go with him after reading some reviews on his page. I am sad to report that after delay of the project, then asking for money because of said delay, then saying the home was ready when the projects weren't complete I took possession of the home and paid in full as we were in a time schedule. Following is a list of things that I found very unsatisfying: The floor was refinished but there are spots that have streaks and places that look like they were stained. The paint job they did in the main house area was not doe. Well, looked like maybe only primer was used? Also the window sills, where the blinds came off, etc, were not painted or holes filled in. The paint job in the basement was half done. I had to ask to have the heat/air ducts painted. Then not all were done. The electrical in pretty much the entire house was not wired correctly. I had to hire someone else to get the fans working properly, the lights to work with correct switches, etc. The washer was not hooked up and the dryer gas was off. The dishwasher was wired and hooked incorrectly. Was missing the kick plate and was crooked. I had to have a new person reinstall. They forgot the new bathroom fans but after requesting these they were installed, very small and the paint was never touched up or made right around them. There were greasy marks in new paint job, splashes in walls of idk what and the paint we smashed for (high quality washable paint) was not used. The locks installed were not installed correctly, and one had been taken over by the owner and we had to buy a new one (expensive!) I can't recommend this company.

Chris is really quick to respond, always to the point, and makes great suggestions. Brandon and his team is always on time, never late and do amazing work. Their price is very fair too. I'm a careful person who got quotes from many different companies prior to beginning the work, but this company was very reasonable and what I like the most is that they are up front with everything, so there is no surprise charges. Thank you so much again!!!

The workers came over on time and were very nice, but apparently there was some question about the integrity of the hoop itself. They installed it without asking any questions, and after they left I noticed the hoop could only extend to a max of 6 feet tall, rendering it useless. Why wouldn't you talk to me before you cemented it in? Now I'm out $225 and all they offered to do is cut it down and I got the reply " we did what you asked us to do." * update: the "Fabulous Mr. Fix It" still hasn't removed the hoop as promised. Did anyone notice how the respondent was defensive and didn't try to rectify the situation? Ya... me too. (4/23/2020)

Beware of Joe Hileman …read more He is completely dishonest . He met with us and presented himself as a father and son company . Not at all . We never saw him pick up a hammer! Never saw his son again either . Instead we saw several crews of non English speaking men mulling around our property. Anytime we did see Joe he never had time to talk with us . Was always in a hurry to get to another appointment. Basically , we had a new roof installed, some trim and some siding which he installed the wrong kind that doesn't match. Trim doesn't match either! They used my shingles,! So the job should have not cost so much ? Nope . They removed a concrete slab that we didn't want to be moved . They removed barn doors and never replaced them . They never completed the job! They left gutters off too . The whole experience was a nightmare. I could go on and on about all of this companies mistakes. We don't speak Spanish so we were unable to communicate with his workers. The worst was the bill ! Unbelievable. The bottom line was to have a bunch of Mexicans on my property for two months all needing a paycheck! Absolutely, no communication whatsoever with Hileman . We had no idea that he was going to give us a huge bill ! Since this mess we've had to spend thousands of dollars to fix numerous problems and we are still not done spending money. ! I hope you read this Joe because you know it's the truth
