The project manager Brandon Mazzacco, was consistently unprofessional, failed to communicate clearly, and generally did not appear to know what he was doing. He provided an inaccurate timeline at the outset and failed to consult with the work crews responsible for carrying out the job to ensure it was feasible. As a result, the timeline was extended at the very last minute--not once, but three separate times--which left our family displaced from our home for three times longer than we were originally told. The quality of the work performed was equally unacceptable. Much of the work was done poorly, and in several instances, it was completely incorrect. We repeatedly raised these concerns with the project manager, who failed to address them adequately. As a result, areas of our home were damaged--damage that could have and should have been avoided had the work been done with care, competence, respect and proper oversight. What is most disturbing, however, is the growing belief my wife and I share that this mistreatment and negligence were not just about incompetence, but deliberate. As a mixed-race gay couple, we could not help but notice the dismissive tone, condescension, and blatant lack of respect we received throughout the process. We cannot ignore the pattern of disregard and the persistent failure to correct mistakes that, in our view, went beyond negligence and bordered on discriminatory behavior. We expected a professional experience. What we received instead was disrespect, broken promises, poor workmanship, damage to our home, and a lingering sense that we were never treated as equal or worthy clients. No family should have to experience this--especially in their own home.

Anthony from Westborn Electric was given the task of replacing a light heater fan combo in the bathroom. I was able to obtain a new one from the 1980s, 1990s still in the sealed box. He was trading one in and trading the other one out. He had to go into the attic and work from up there too. Insert the new box and the insides. Connect them, adjust the light fan heater switch on the wall. It was a big job, two and a half hours. But he was able to install it beautifully. It runs perfectly and I'm very happy with the job Anthony did for me. As a postnote, he said the biggest surprise for him was that I was able to find the exact new unit from 3 decades ago! They're much better made, American. I told him it was the only one in the country and I found it for $50. The install was pricey, but every time I've needed to have electrical work done it's pricey, regardless of what electrician does it. Anthony was personable, respectful and not invasive. He arrived and did the work.
