I'm leaving this review because my experience with A1 Lock and Safe left me feeling taken advantage…read moreof, despite my best efforts to communicate clearly and act in good faith. I was locked out of my home and called to see if they could help. I was told they were about 30 minutes away and that I would receive a call 10 minutes before they headed my direction. Before receiving any follow up call, I was able to get into my home on my own. I immediately called back as a courtesy to let them know they did not need to come out. At that point, I was told they were five minutes away and that I would still need to pay because they were already "here." This directly contradicted what I had been told earlier. During the same conversation, I was given multiple different timelines, first that they were five minutes away, then that they were ten minutes away, while also being told they were "already here." The conversation quickly became uncomfortable. The person I spoke with raised their voice in frustration and insisted I pay for a service I did not receive. When I pushed back respectfully and explained that I had called before being notified they were en route, he framed a 50 percent charge as a kindness. Wanting to end the tense exchange, I paid. I regret that decision. I feel sick knowing I paid for something I did not need or receive, especially when the situation was caused entirely by poor communication. This experience felt less like customer service and more like pressure. I cannot recommend this company. Clear communication and fairness matter, especially in stressful situations like being locked out of your home, and this experience fell short on both.

Chris had already been highly recommended by my neighbors for a new roof that he and his awesome…read moreteam had installed. I took one look at their beautiful work on their roof and told them to give me his contact info. Once Chris called me back he made the process a no stress process. He even helped with choice color by suggesting colors and was very patient when it took us forever to pick a color. We were so excited to get a new roof and him and his team did not disappoint the day of install. They even helped putting a new roof on my shed as well. He was great at keeping in touch and great for returning our phone calls and very patient with all of our questions and concerns. I am looking forward to him and his team help with future home repairs.

Biggest problem: A woman who married an owner--can't remember her name--so is now an owner,…read moreherself: called me late in week, saying they would be there Monday. We got everything ready, and waited. Late Monday WE called her! (they didn't show up) She actually said, 'this isn't rocket science, we'll get there sometime'! We asked, "Who exactly are you?". Silence for a couple seconds, then: "I'm one of the owners." "Unbelievable." (was our response to her.) Big problem: They promised stuff to get the sale, and then tell the installer said stuff wasn't included in price. Calling up their office to clear it up, it seemed "Owner Lady" was unhappy that said "stuff" was promised, and then Rich, the salesman, changed his attitude immediately. In fact, he had promised a better exhaust fan, but installer was putting in a weaker fan--so we called Rich up. He told us to buy the better, stronger Promised fan, and he would drop by and repay us. Almost a year later, and several phone calls and promises...we got the picture, Rich! Problem: Installer Dennis--not very good. Sadly, we went with Toledo New Bath--even though they charged us $4000 more than our other bid!! Because we Wanted it done right! The caulk job was horrendous. We examined it and found leakage! Dennis also didn't caulk any of the metal fasteners for the seat and handles--so leaks are occurring there. We have absolutely no Faith in them!! Today WE ARE PAYING SOMEONE ELSE OVER $1000 to recaulk Everything!

I had also gotten egregious quotes from other big name companies in the area that I couldn't believe.
