A treasure hunt but no gold to be found. So they tore up the left side of the driveway and bingo the found the line. They also replacement an electrical tubing W/ wires to get the street lamp to work. But still no lights. So they dug another hole on the right side of my driveway. And bingo they finally hit gold. So What they did to fix the three sprinklers lines. All failed due to poor workmanship. With the help from Aqua Mist I have the parts to do the job the right way. No bubbling water coming up from the ground because of the lack of skills. I will do the job the right way and they won't leak. Great staff very friendly Thank you, Florian Nowicki, Riverview, MI

Great products, dismal installation. I spent $2,080.65 on a mortise mantle ($1,640.00 for the…read moremantle, $100.00 for shipping, $200.00 for installation, and remainder tax). They were scheduled to arrive between 3:00pm - 5:00pm. The moment the installers arrive, around 5:15pm, I should have sent them away for reasons that will go unsaid. Let's just say glossy, red eyes. In their infinite wisdom, they decided to find studs by using a small drill bit and randomly started drilling holes. I had to force them to use my stud finder. Eventually, they found the studs. The bracket that secures the mantle to the wall required a total of (8) screws, they used (4). I attempted to remediate that by removing the mantle, but before I did anything, noticed that they glued, yes GLUED the mantle to the metal bracket. I suspect they used Gorilla glue of some sort. So, in the event we ever want to redo the fireplace, it looks like we are SOL. DO NOT go to Myers. Go elsewhere, anywhere. Don't bother calling them if you have an issue. They don't call back.

Midwest did a phenomenal job replacing our Formica tops with beautiful new granite. The best thing…read moreis, unlike a lot of the other granite shops in the area, they don't nickel and dime you with fees for seams, edges, and so on. We were able to get higher end granite for less than the cost of some of the low end Chinese granite offered at places like Cutting Edge. It is a small business, and the guys are super experienced in what they do and had an great attention to detail. They were also able to replace my bathroom vanity top and fireplace surround using granite from the same slab for a very reasonable cost. I would not hesitate to recommend their services or workmanship to anyone looking to get granite, marble or quartz tops.

Our experience working with Luce's has been excellent! In January (middle of winter) we discovered…read morea significant roof leak around our chimney. They responded quickly, diagnosed the problem, and before it leaked again they came out and installed a chimney liner, flashing on the roof around the chimney, and a new chimney cap. This has successfully halted the active leaking. They also worked with us to set up a plan for further measures to address longer term problems, should that be necessary. The team that came out to do the work was both personable and professional. They knew what they were doing and freely shared information. They were also very sensitive and amenable to wearing masks while inside the house when asked, because I had recently had a kidney transplant. We unreservedly recommend their work and workers!

I took pictures of the chimney and the damage. He was able to give me an exact estimate by my photos. It took a couple times of communicating with Ken or his wife before the job was done due to the weather. They made sure to contact me anytime they had to reschedule due to rain. They did the work in one day. They contacted me before and after the work was completed. My FIL loves to watch. Ken never even complained about all the questions or concerns. When our job was next in line, we gave them half of the cost up front however not knowing him I did feel comfortable he came to pick up the deposit and left his equipment there so I felt good about that. I would recommend Ken's Chimney repair for any chimney or brick repair. His quality is amazing. You cannot even tell when the new brick was added. Everything about our experience with Tiny Tom was top notch. The responsiveness of all the…read morepersonnel from the top down was polite and prompt (which had not been the case with another company we called first). Our serviceman Al showed up on time, with a courtesy call ahead of his scheduled arrival. He introduced himself as an employee and took time to answer any questions I had. You could really tell that he cared about educating his clients about proper fire safety and fireplace maintenance, and as a first-time wood-burning fireplace owner and a mom of three, I so appreciated that. He clearly explained how he was going to repair our chimney cap (which we'd been told by another company needed complete and pricey replacement), the invoice was reasonable and fair with no hidden costs, and the work was performed efficiently and without hassle. Without question, Tiny Tom, and Al in particular, is our choice for a fireplace/chimney care company!

When I lit the fire it smoked up the whole house - smoke smell coming out of the 2nd story into my closet too. I called them and the owner was rude saying I had lit the fire wrong. Then when he looks more closely, the finds that the flue is not sealed and sitting properly in the bottom vent of the fireplace (sorry I don't know the technical terms). So in other words, they missed it the first time! For a pro should have been something they spotted during the inspection! Says it will cost more than $1 thousand to fix it and is going to give me an estimate. That was 5 months ago - no word since. I'm done with them.
