He never made eye contact with us. I vis the store today to pick up a new garage door hinge, unfortunately it was right after I mowed my lawn. The receptionist, while too busy to talk paged someone else, who never came out. It appeared everyone was busy with lunch from Rosie's. I couldn't even get a sales person to quote me a new door. Finally someone came out, I told him what I needed and in a minute, he returned with a new hinge. Yes, I had to go back to the receptionist who still had the same attitude. Someone ran into my garage door overnight and left it in shambles. The door itself was badly bent and one of the rails was also bent what I thought was beyond repair. This is a scam of a business. BEWARE! I had them come out to repair my garage door. Less than 2 weeks later, door not working again. They came out again -said I needed a new door. I asked for refund for part they had installed 2 weeks ago. They received their part back and refused to refund me! Now they have blocked my phone number. What kind of a "business " does this?? Had an issue with my control button not getting power. As Quality Overhead Doors installed the doors when the house was built 3 years ago, I called them. Wade, the technician, arrived at the time he said he would when he called to inform me he was on the way. He did a series of troubleshooting measures, and determined the circuit board and the controller were both bad, probably due to a lightniing strike (the first time the door didn't work was right after a bad storm here in Findlay, OH). He professionally replaced both and reset all my openers as well. He explained the job and was very neat and clean about his work. I will use QOD for all my future garage door needs! read more

I ordered a new garage door for one of my rent houses from the showroom, it takes two weeks to come install it after being told 4 days, the installer arrives smelling like pot, and is very rude. After installing the door, I take a look at it and it was not level had grease prints all over it, he says "oh it will level on out when springs adjust"? Well it hasn't and the door does roll very smooth, definitely not worth the money, sorry but I will use overhead door for rest of my rent houses. read more

Alright so I hired quality to replace two old wooden doors that I had. My motors were about 20 years old but still functioning fine. They came out replaced the doors and somewhere along the way, the motor on the left door stopped working. Being that they were so old they could not be fixed. It was frustrating, but Quality definitely stepped up and took care of their customer. They helped me with two new motors, sensors, even new remotes as well. John Parker and Wade were the people I had dealings with. They were both very knowledgable, and professional dealing with the problem that had arose. He looked my opener over and tried to make some adjustments but in the end had to replace it. It was 23 years old so that part did not surprise me. I have used Quality Overhead Door Services twice now. I was very pleased with the work performed and the cost was reasonable. My garage door is fairly old and in both cases the technicians left the door working better than it was before. That is in addition to the requested repair. I really appreciated them going above and beyond what was requested. My most recent experience was especially positive. Upon returning home from vacation I discovered that one of my garage door springs was broken and the door could not easily be opened. From the time I called them until my door was repaired was about 2 hours. That includes 30 minutes driving time from Toledo to Monroe. And, this was on a Friday afternoon! The technician (Tim/30C) was outstanding. He was professional and friendly and had my door fixed in no time. That included lubricating everything and adjusting the door to eliminate a gap at the bottom hat had existed since we owned the house. Great service. I had a spring break on my garage door, and called at 10:05AM to request service. At 10:34AM the tech called to say he was 10 minutes away. Sure enough, ten minutes later he was there with all of the parts needed to repair the door! Less than an hour later, both springs had been replaced, loose bolts tightened, and the door mechanisms were lubricated. I was quoted 235 on the phone to replace both springs and that is exactly what I was charged (both the phone rep and service tech offered to replace only the broken spring, with no up-sell pressure, but I went ahead and had both replaced). I have had springs replaced before, and this was right in line with what most places charge. I normally don't give 5-star reviews as I feel it's only warranted for those who go above and beyond, but to have the door fixed 90 minutes after I called is simply unbelievable. I may have lucked out, but I will certainly call them first next time I need service. read more

Sales person was misleading by promising the garage door opener to be functional after the install. Installers replaced the door on Friday and as the sales person did not indicate that a broken pulley needs to be replaced - they did not have the part with them. They promised to exchange the pulley and reconnect the door to the opener early next week leaving us without garage door opener over the weekend - with a door without external handle or lock - so pretty inconvenient after paying $540. Nobody called us on Monday and upon our complaints, we were told that the exchange of the pulley (a $7 part) would be a $150 service fee. I was considering having them drive out after I exchanged the pulley (an easy 3 minute repair) as the reconnect was explicitly part of the contract but as they insisted on the pulley repair being not part of the contract I told them to forget it. Overall a petty, unprofessional company that I would not recommend! read more

The springs broke on our garage door last night and my car was trapped in the garage. We called Quality Overhead Door at 7:30 this morning and they assured us someone would be over before 11:00. Immediately after hanging up, I got a call from Tim that he was on his way. He arrived in 20 minutes and went to work.
