I am forever grateful to Rock Roofing. After collecting estimates from several supposedly reputable companies, we met with Beau from Rock Roofing. He was very personable and professional, taking the time to inspect the roof. I noticed him go up again before he came in to discuss what he'd found. He was frank and explained everything in easy-to-understand language. He provided an estimate on the spot, whereas every other company that physically came out had to go out to their truck or send it to us the next day. During the explanation, I learned why he had gone up on the roof a second time. The boot around one of the vents had rotted, and parts had blown away. Beau went out to his truck, got a replacement boot, and went up the second time to put it on. He said there was no charge, and whether we decided to use his company or not, he didn't want it to leak while we were waiting to replace the roof. Some other companies mentioned the boot but didn't care enough to replace it. The estimate was less than everyone else's, and the shingles look beautiful! I have used Rock twice, on two different houses. Reasonably priced and service that was beyond expectations.

We just wanted everyone to know that a crew came buy and fixed the leaks. Well done, Rock Roofing!

We had them put on a roof in 2019 and called them back with the same problem about a year later. They "fixed" it but in 2024 we had serious problems again. We called them back and they came out at least 3 times and "fixed" it again. After not solving the problems, they said it is our ventilation system. It certainly is possible that the ventilation system needs to be addressed but if they had told us that any of the mutliple times they came out, we would have fixed it and avoided thousands of dollars in repair. They take absolutely no responsibility. When we got upset one of the owners left our house. Who would not get upset when we will need to spend thousands to repair completely avoidable damage. On the phone , another owner told me they have been sued 11 times but they always win. What competent business gets sued 11 times?? Another roofer I contacted took drone photos that show there are nail holes where there should not be and caulking where there should not be. read more

I purchased a home in August 2020 where the previous owner had Rock Roofing install a new roof (on 2/3) of the home. The images are the "new" roof. Needless to say, the roof has leaked, this rain isn't helping. I am sharing images from the the companies I hired to correct Rock's installation. Flashing was poor (being kind), installation was shoddy (being really kind), and Rock does NOT stand behind their warranty (lucky this is Yelp). On multiple occasions, I have had to have someone fix their ineptitude. Rock voided the warranty all together. How they are an authorized installer of anything is beyond the pale of reason. If every roofer is busy, but Rock is available. There is a reason. read more

If I could have given them a 1/2 star I would have. It is the company that just keeps giving...about 2 yrs ago we hired them to replace our roof! The roof got done and about 4 month later a huge rain came and we discovered a leak is a odd spot. We went outside and discover one of the vent covers blew off. This vent/fan cover was stainless and could have hurt someone very badly. so I called and ask for the owner to come out 6 times. on the last try his mom(receptionist) said "he hasn't been there yet!!! That pushed momma bear to get the work done - well sorta!!!! He came out and took pictures of the water damaged corner saying over and over "I will be turning this over to my insurance company and you should be hearing from them soon! Well 18 months later no interaction whatsoever!! OH WAIT THWRE IS MORE....Was having the house painted and the eves cleaning etc and the contractor asked me to come outside. Where he preceded to show me a coffee can-at least of roofing nails!!! He said I am not sure who your roofer was but they were careless and sloppy and caused your gutter issues. I wished I could show you how the weight of those nails pulled my spouts away from the house. I suggest asking for references ! Don't do it ! read more

I put on a new roof with Rock Roofing about five years ago in my previous home. I needed some minor repairs done at my new house and called them. I called five times this summer. Every time I was told they'd get with me. They never have! Never! A rep showed up once and could not do the work because of rain. Never called. Never came back. I've referred them several jobs. My 78-year-old mother developed a leak in her roof. Living in California made it difficult for me help her. I worried about her getting taken advantage of. My mother asked a friend for a referral and was directed to Rock Roofing. Per my mother, she called and hit it off with the woman who answered the phone. They set up a time for someone to come out. "Beau" (sp?) came out and found "three nails that had pulled up." He hammered them down, caulked the area and checked the leak from inside the house. He marked the stain and told my mother "give it a couple more good rains and see if the stain gets bigger. If it does please give us a call." My mother was not charged anything for the service. I just hope this review can express the gratitude I feel and in a small way repay this act of kindness. read more

In the Summer/Fall of 2015 we contracted Rock Roofing to install new windows and re-side our home. We spoke with the Owner "Rock" a few times due to the delay of starting the project and a few issues along the way, as to the amount of time it was taking to finish. The siding looked great once completed. Once the weather started getting colder, we noticed that our windows had drafts and started calling to have someone come out to fill the gap between the window and house frame. In the late fall of 2015, we had whole pieces of metal fascia falling off our house. We called and they sent someone out to replace it. In the spring of this year, we noticed that our siding had a 1-2" gap in it above our garage. We called a few times, and it was fixed. In mid June, we had more metal fascia falling off the side of the house. We called several times to have it fixed, the last call was that there was a deadline to have it taken care of due to a party we were having at our house that weekend. They sent someone out to fix the problem. Around the beginning of August of this year, we notice we had another gap in our siding, but now on the backside of our house. My husband and I have been calling at least every week to get the gap in the siding repaired as well as the windows to be sealed. It is now 1 year later from the installation date for our windows, and we are still calling and leaving messages with "Janet" in the office, who tries to talk over you, wont let you finish a sentence, is continuously making excuses as to why it hasn't been taken care of and is just plain rude! The latest conversation with Rock Roofing has been that the contractor "Jeremy" that was employed by Rock Roofing has been terminated from the company, and that they will not honor our contract or warranty because they do no do windows and/or siding and no where on their contract does it state that they do, so they don't have to fix our windows or siding. "Janet" stated that we must contact the sub-contractor "Denny" that installed our windows and siding to have any repairs taken care of. I tried to explain that we had spoke with the owner of the company during our window/siding process, and that he was aware of the job and that we have a signed contract on the companies letterhead with a warranty attached to the windows and siding. I have asked to speak with the owner to try to resolve our issues, however Janet stated that "it was not going to happen & he doesn't have time for stuff like this!" I seriously don't understand how a company stays in business with customer service like this. We roofed our house with this company in the fall of 2014 and windows and siding in the fall of 2015. That is a lot of money to give a company that doesn't want to honor their work or warranty! read more

I want to counter the other reviews. When jobs go smoothly, any company can shine. But what truly separates out high quality organizations is how they respond when things don't go as planned. Rock Roofing was absolutely rock solid re-roofing a nearly 100 year old detached garage. Up front, Beau was an exceptional communicator, and very responsive to my concerns and questions -- a big contrast from the other more well known roofers in the area, who seemed rather put out to even consider my small job. In their bid, Rock was the only one who committed up front to all necessary wood repair. When the old rubber roof (and many layers of old roofing and rotten old tongue-and-groove sheathing) was removed, the condition of the rafters was quite a bit worse even than expected. In my experience, most contractors and especially their crew would complain and blame at this point. Rock just brought in more lumber, additional crew to help, and proceeded to reconstruct the roofing support until it was solid. The final roof and front overhang look beautiful, Beau was in constant touch, and visited after the job was finished to make sure I was happy with everything. A solid, family-owned company committed to customer satisfaction. Maybe not as well known as some of the other outfits, but on the rise, and working hard for it! read more
