Then I received a text from Lily after submitting for a quote. I responded explaining the situation, and she immediately said, "no problem, we will price match." At first I honestly thought I might be texting with a bot, but it turned out to be Lily herself, the daughter of the owners. In a bit of a panic about missing the other sale and not having anything locked in, I called and spoke with her brother. He stayed on the phone with me for over 30 minutes, walking through my entire order and making sure I had everything I needed. I was blown away by the level of service. Maybe I'm a bit jaded living in LA, but this felt truly above and beyond. It's rare to find a company that is this responsive, personal, and genuinely cares. I also love that this is a family-run business. It makes such a difference, and I much prefer supporting companies like this over big corporations that often lack customer service. Installed new floor and put the new tub in. Next the floor tiles were replaced, as well as the tub surround. The specialty tiles makes it look so beautiful. The workers came over on time and were very nice, but apparently there was some question about the integrity of the hoop itself. They installed it without asking any questions, and after they left I noticed the hoop could only extend to a max of 6 feet tall, rendering it useless. Why wouldn't you talk to me before you cemented it in? Now I'm out $225 and all they offered to do is cut it down and I got the reply " we did what you asked us to do." * update: the "Fabulous Mr. Fix It" still hasn't removed the hoop as promised.
