During the design process and while the project was underway, they were attentive, responsive, and great to work with. We were excited about the remodel and trusted that we were making a significant investment in our home with a company that would stand behind its work. Unfortunately, the experience after the checks were written has been very different. The flooring installed throughout our home is now separating, lifting, and coming apart. The tile in our master bathroom shower is cracked, and the bathroom flooring is cracking and coming up. Some issues began shortly after the remodel, and although MBS came back in the beginning to address certain problems, those repairs did not properly resolve them. For approximately three years, we have repeatedly tried to get these issues addressed under the lifetime warranty that came with our remodel. After numerous calls and emails and eventually sending a certified letter, owner and operations manager Jasen Brielmaier came to our home, inspected the problems, acknowledged what needed to be repaired/replaced, and had us select replacement materials. I specifically asked for the worst-case timeframe, and we were told the last week of July or first week of August. That timeframe has passed. The work has not been completed, and once again our calls, voicemails, and emails have gone unanswered. I am attaching photos because I believe potential customers should be able to see how portions of our $106,850 remodel have held up and understand our experience trying to have the work corrected. We have given MBS years and numerous opportunities to honor its warranty and resolve this directly. At this point, we have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the State of Michigan through LARA and are seeking legal counsel. I wish I could leave the same positive review today that I would have left immediately after our remodel. Unfortunately, how a company stands behind its work when problems arise is just as important as the work and service it provides when a customer is signing contracts and writing checks.

Then, his taping crew brought it to life in clean precise way. the corner bead installation was better than I could do (I am a trim carpenter with 30+ years experience). There were some tricky installations against many beams, and cathedral ceilings under hip roofs which were all beautifully done. His sanding crew did a quick and amazing job. All of his crew members were polite and good to have on the job site. Jon is a really good guy. He clearly intends to keep his customers happy... and he did, with us. We had a bit of a deadline and he did what he could to help us stay on schedule. I painted the drywall and usually that is when all the mistakes would show. The supplies (13 windows and a house full of siding) were dropped off in the middle of my driveway during a snowstorm. The 1 man doing all of the work by himself didn't show up for days. My husband had to move 13 windows and boxes of siding by himself in the snow because my car was trapped inside my garage by the supplies. I had to call multiple times to see if anyone was actually coming to do the work while the supplies were sitting out in the snow. Very long story short - the work finally was completed around the end of January 2023 and at that time, everything APPEARED to be fine. The first piece of siding fell off in March 2023. I had to call three different times and was given the run around each time. I finally had to pay someone to come put it back up. The second piece fell a month later - of course this company doesn't answer my calls now, so once again I had to pay someone else to come put it back up. Apparently the 1 person doing all of the work by himself cut the siding tops too short and that's why it isn't staying up??? Now, its March 2024 and ANOTHER piece fell off from above my garage AND the rest of it is now WAVY! I wish I would have just gone with Mays Contruction like I was going to originally, they were cheaper but because I met Clear Vision Windows & Siding at a local Home & Garden Show & they came to my house with a whole set up and very thorough sales pitch, I THOUGHT they would be a better choice - boy was I wrong.
