This year my siding cracked ( I have a warranty). I called that company several times and emailed and they said in 1-2 weeks they would be out. Never came out. I emailed and called with NO call backs. So, I decided to call this place to see if they would do a repair even though they didn't do the original job. I sent photos and a description and they gave me a price over email without coming to see the job. I agreed. They said 1-2 weeks. Very next day, I got a call they were going to come fix it. It took the guy less than an hour to fix the repair. After waiting several months from the original company to come fix their work, this company did it. I should've just hired these guys to do it in the first place. The least I can do is give these guys a good review for their speedy repair.

I am sad to report that after delay of the project, then asking for money because of said delay, then saying the home was ready when the projects weren't complete I took possession of the home and paid in full as we were in a time schedule. Following is a list of things that I found very unsatisfying: The floor was refinished but there are spots that have streaks and places that look like they were stained. The paint job they did in the main house area was not doe. Well, looked like maybe only primer was used? Also the window sills, where the blinds came off, etc, were not painted or holes filled in. The paint job in the basement was half done. I had to ask to have the heat/air ducts painted. Then not all were done. The electrical in pretty much the entire house was not wired correctly. I had to hire someone else to get the fans working properly, the lights to work with correct switches, etc. The washer was not hooked up and the dryer gas was off. The dishwasher was wired and hooked incorrectly. Was missing the kick plate and was crooked. I had to have a new person reinstall. They forgot the new bathroom fans but after requesting these they were installed, very small and the paint was never touched up or made right around them. There were greasy marks in new paint job, splashes in walls of idk what and the paint we smashed for (high quality washable paint) was not used. The locks installed were not installed correctly, and one had been taken over by the owner and we had to buy a new one (expensive!) I can't recommend this company.

My wife and I moved to a 140 year old farm house in December which immediately needed plaster work…read morein three rooms. I found JPC on Google in February and they came out to work in May after they finished a big job in Owosso. This is my first time working with a contractor on plastering so I was flying blind, but was immediately at ease with Jim Conklin the Founder and Owner. Jim knows the history and science of plastering and he is a gifted artisan. He and his colleague Ethan repaired cracks in two rooms, and in one of the rooms removed plaster to the lathe board and redid it, and in that same room took out a 8' x 8' section of plaster and lathe and completely redid it. JPC outdid themselves by rescuing a large 5' medallion which had pulled away from the plaster, by coming at it by removing the floorboards above it, and using adhesive conditioner, Teflon netting and plaster. This drew the medallion upward and solidified it. Impressive. They finished all of this work in five days. They are due back out later this year to continue the work in three other rooms. Even before JPC did their work I was spreading the good word about them, and certainly will continue to do so.

The carpet was installed properly and the installer was very good. Unfortunately the carpet did not match the sample we had gotten from the store. It was not as plush as the sample and we felt that the issue needed to be addressed at the store. For what we paid, we did not feel it it was a good value. We returned to the store to express our concerns and showed the salesperson the difference between the sample and the carpet that was installed. She agreed and said she would let us know what they might do to compensate us for the lesser quality. We have not heard anything from the salesperson or Christoff and Sons. Apparently they are not at all concerned with customer satisfaction. We explained that we will be remodeling the the kitchen and replacing additional carpet but we certainly will not be using Christoff and Sons as they don't seem to care.
