He was the first to acknowledge my request to a quote (hours versus days) and the first to show up and scope out the work (days vs never-got-around-to-it). It took a couple weeks to start work, and three days spread across a week to actually do it. He did an excellent job of matching the existing color of the deck; he gave a few options for the opaque stain finish, and I'm happy with what we settled on. Most of the deck staining can only be done on a very dry deck, so we had a few rain delays during my job; not a problem at all. We also had a few rain delays on other jobs which delayed starting mine --- not a problem, but noticeable. Michael had most of his own equipment sorted out --- the only thing he ended up borrowing was some long pieces of cardboard as masking, since he'd forgotten his own. Many of the other people I've dealt with have needed much more in loaner tools. If you're happy with SMS, definitely have Fastrac do your work --- but don't expect much email or phone communication.

Romeo and the rest of his crew are amazing! All very nice and willing to work with you. They completely repainted the house, installed brand-new recessed lighting, fixed a plumbing pipe, installed new toilets, and added new electrical circuits. Everything was done professionally and with great attention to detail. Their pricing was very reasonable, and they were also extremely helpful when it came to choosing paint colors and giving honest input on what would look best with the house. They worked every day until the job was completely finished, which is something you don't always find with contractors. Another huge plus was how flexible they were. As the project went on, I was able to add additional things I wanted done, and they were always willing to work with me and help get them taken care of. Overall, phenomenal company, great pricing, excellent work, and great people to work with. I would absolutely use Affordable Painting and Repair again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for painting, electrical, plumbing, or general home repairs!

It's never his fault no matter how poor of a job he does. Charged me $75/hr for flooring only to show up and see his painter doing the flooring. Unbelievably squeaky floors. The only word I can use to describe my experience with Tribble is bizarre…read more If you're comfortable paying a significant estimate only to have the company redo all their work and deal with disrespect from a man named Joey, then Tribble is the right choice for you. Rod was our project manager, and I've included images below to showcase the quality of his work. According to Joey, Rod is "the best they have," but the pictures tell a different story. The work was sloppy, careless, and far from what we were promised. When we reached out to Joey to address the poor quality of the work, we were gaslighted into believing this was what we had paid for. We were told we didn't read our contract properly, that it didn't include sanding the walls, and even threatened with collections. To top it off, Joey casually dismissed our concerns with the comment, "even a pickle can set a pregnant lady off." However, when Nick evaluated the work in person, he confirmed that the quality was poor and agreed that everything needed to be redone. We paid nearly $5,000 for this experience. According to Tribble, they "made it right" by returning to redo the work--but that required as much time as the original project. We had arranged for the work to be done while we were out of town for convenience, but we were still displaced for two extra days, turning a two-day project into a four-day ordeal. As a result, we overpaid for subpar work, are now a month and a half behind schedule, and have endured unnecessary stress and disrespect, all for something as simple as having our walls painted. I'm at a loss as to how they could possibly think they "made it right." The final result is decent, though there are areas with uneven texture where they had to fix previous mistakes. We were told this was the best they could do. Will was the only one to offer a genuine apology and made a kind effort to address the issues, but that doesn't undo the frustration we've experienced. This has been the most expensive headache I've ever created for myself. What was meant to simplify our lives during pregnancy has instead caused a level of stress I can't fully describe. I'm left questioning the validity of all the positive reviews--our experience was the complete opposite. We will be using a different company for our futures projects. If it goes well I will update my post with recommendations.
