Romeo and the rest of his crew are amazing! All very nice and willing to work with you. They completely repainted the house, installed brand-new recessed lighting, fixed a plumbing pipe, installed new toilets, and added new electrical circuits. Everything was done professionally and with great attention to detail. Their pricing was very reasonable, and they were also extremely helpful when it came to choosing paint colors and giving honest input on what would look best with the house. They worked every day until the job was completely finished, which is something you don't always find with contractors. Another huge plus was how flexible they were. As the project went on, I was able to add additional things I wanted done, and they were always willing to work with me and help get them taken care of. Overall, phenomenal company, great pricing, excellent work, and great people to work with. I would absolutely use Affordable Painting and Repair again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for painting, electrical, plumbing, or general home repairs!

Jose responded to my Request a Quote within the hour and had availability the next day to come and take care of it. Our house is over 100 years old so we ran into a few snafus, like an uneven floor, bracketing issues attaching the dishwasher to the counter, and hose fittings but he handled it all smoothly, checking with me before making any decisions we might not have been comfortable with (e.g., screws in our counter interfered with bracketing the dishwasher exactly in the center of the space we had wanted so we had to shift a little to the left). He also reused some materials I had left over from a DIY project I had done to level the washer, saving us some money on additional materials. We also ran the dishwasher before he left and identified one of the hoses was a little too loose, causing a slight drip, so he made sure everything was tight and secure before wrapping the job. The dishwasher has been running great! The price was really reasonable and Jose was very kind and accommodating. I would definitely feel very comfortable calling him again for future jobs!

He was the first to acknowledge my request to a quote (hours versus days) and the first to show up and scope out the work (days vs never-got-around-to-it). It took a couple weeks to start work, and three days spread across a week to actually do it. He did an excellent job of matching the existing color of the deck; he gave a few options for the opaque stain finish, and I'm happy with what we settled on. Most of the deck staining can only be done on a very dry deck, so we had a few rain delays during my job; not a problem at all. We also had a few rain delays on other jobs which delayed starting mine --- not a problem, but noticeable. Michael had most of his own equipment sorted out --- the only thing he ended up borrowing was some long pieces of cardboard as masking, since he'd forgotten his own. Many of the other people I've dealt with have needed much more in loaner tools. If you're happy with SMS, definitely have Fastrac do your work --- but don't expect much email or phone communication.
