After contacting a few painting companies in the Ann Arbor area for estimates and they were no shows, I contacted Absolute Painting to get an estimate for an interior painting job, which included cathedral ceilings. Ricardo came out and gave me an estimate the next day, which was very reasonable. Ricardo's painting crew was very friendly and professional. They did a thorough job of prep work, which included repairing many different areas with drywall damage. They also covered items with plastic and used painting tarps. During the job Ricardo's crew went above and beyond the call of duty and even made some nice suggestions for work to be done (at no extra cost, except for the materials). They purchased and installed new lights in our ceiling, which look fantastic compared to the old fish bowl lights, which were nearly 30 years old. The completed job turned out excellent and we especially liked the use of caulking at the base boards. After the job was completed it looked like a new house! After payment Mario even came back two days later to do a quick repair on one of the baseboards. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I had the exterior of my house painted, and it turned out beautiful, perfect in every way. This is a family business, Ricardo's brothers do the painting and his niece helps as well. Ricardo gave me a great price for the work, in exchange for placing his sign in my yard. Everyone was so helpful and easy to work with, and very responsive. They went above and beyond to make sure I would be pleased with the finished job. I have a big bow window in the front, with 15 windows/window panes. Instead of slapping the paint on the window and calling it "done", Luis removed each window to paint all the interior edges, to ensure my window looks great from the inside as well as the outside. I also asked him to power wash my deck, which was not included in the original work order. No problem. Right from the beginning Ricardo was there with advice regarding colors, and different options for my house. I found out they do all sorts of work including interior painting, flooring, counter top installation, plumbing, electrical and landscaping (which I will have done next spring!). All-in-all, this was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend this company. read more

Absolute painting did a fantastic job painting my newly refinished ceiling and all the walls throughout my great room, dining room, kitchen, and hallway. Ricardo came out to provide an estimate over the weekend, and by the beginning of the following week they were able to get the whole job done! Start to finish they only took 5-6 hours (keep in mind my house is fairly small, but I'm still impressed). The lines and edges where the paint colors transition are very clean. The pricing was very reasonable as well. Ricardo is even going to have his crew touch up the exterior paint on my French doors which has been flaking due to issues with the original paint product.
