I call on a Monday and he says they'll be installed tomorrow. (Tuesday) The fallowing Friday evening I call him to report I had no gutters on my house. He back peddled and asked about the color to which I reminded him of my color choice on the estimate he gave me. Then he claimed the crew came out but I don't have an electrical outlets outside of my house. We also discussed this when he wrote up the estimate to which he said no problem they'll bring a generator. I asked him on the phone how he can run a business like this and he had no response. This is my first review ever! I DON'T KNOW HOW PEOPLE STAY IN BUSINESS LIKE THIS!

I recently had a roof replaced with Barnett. I need to separate my comments regarding the actual…read moreworkers, and the company owner / son. The communication up front was nearly non-existent. Follow-up does not happen as promised. One morning prior to 7 a.m., I was awakened to the sound of my dogs barking insistently, only to find a truck full of building materials, and three strange men walking around my lawn. The owners son had forgotten to tell me materials would be delivered. The actual workers get 5 stars. The owner and son have earned one star. Thus, the average of 3 stars for this review. They were polite, timely, meticulously clean. They worked from sun up to sun down, barely taking any break. I have nothing but good things to say about them. I found the owners son to be quite difficult. This includes a remark that the son made about his (Mexican) workers that was quite derogatory and I was offended. After the work was completed, I had a gusher of a leak in the sunroom late one evening after the first rain. I called the next morning and was told they would come to repair the damages mid morning the following day. They failed to call or show up. I got up on a ladder and took photos, shocked by the sloppy workmanship I discovered. When I called the following day to inquire, I was rudely treated. I told the owner NOT to send the son back to my property. The following day the son arrived. I am now told that they have corrected the deficiencies, however I have zero confidence in these folks. I am considering paying a second company to do a full inspection to provide assurance that there are no more leaks and I will not have trouble down the road. Photos will be posted.

I've had Imperial Building and Roofing replace the roof of my first house (hail damage) in 2010 and…read moreMikhail and his crew (led by Eric) were very professional and courteous. They protected the landscape around the house and cleared the area before starting work. They arrived when they said they would (actually early) and finished the job (tear out shingles, new boards as needed, added insulation to the attic, rerouted vents, new roof) in one day (about 11 hours). The crew cleaned up the area and made sure no debris (nails, scraps, etc) were left. I've moved to another house in 2014 and wanted to replace the roof. I called Imperial for a quote to do the job. Their quote was competitive and got my business. The crew remembered me ( and i remembered them) from the previous house. Same great service from an outstanding business.

Found Pure Gutters on NextDoor; they replied via Thumbtack. Zack seemed earnest and eager for the…read morebusiness, offering a slightly lower price than a competitor. I signed a $4,000 contract in mid-September 2025. I was on a tight timeline before getting new concrete poured. Zack promised a 2-man crew. Only 1 guy showed up. I would have never agreed to this if I knew. Hanging 20-foot gutter sections solo is ridiculous. It took him two days to fully install. He focused on leaf screens instead of downspouts. I warned him it was going to rain. It poured heavily for 8 hours straight, dumping massive amounts of water directly into my foundation because the downspouts weren't on. It caused me so much anxiety about basement flooding. Weeks later, when my concrete was poured, the new gutters leaked and stained the brand-new concrete. Zero Customer Service: When I complained, Zack said he was too busy with other installs. Once he got my money, I was no longer a priority. A second crew came but failed. By early November freezing weather, new leaks appeared. Zack actually told me "leaks would always be there." If I wanted leaks, I would have kept my old gutters! Update (1/16/2026): Zack sent a 3rd crew who spent 7 hours completely rehanging the entire system because the first guy's work was so bad. Zack blamed his subpar subcontractors, which doesn't reassure me as a homeowner. It's YOUR job Zach to hire good workers. Not make excuses for your poor judgement in hiring them. I raised my review to 3 stars to see if it would hold up for the year. Latest Update (7/14/2026): They are STILL leaking. Every single corner silicone seam is split. Zack had the audacity to blame my brand new roof replacement as the cause of the leaks. He demanded "documentation" before coming out to fix the leaks AGAIN. If he looked at his own photos from September and compared them to the 4 times he's been out here, he'd see the shingles are a completely different color. To top it off, one section of the leaf guard is mismatched and randomly thrown in. When you are TOO INEPT to trouble shoot your install problems, blame the homeowner. Unprofessional. Never recommend! Negative -5 stars if it was allowed!
