Drew Green is the kind of contractor who confidently tells you the wrong information and then…read moreblames you when things go wrong. He repeatedly made things up to justify his own mistakes. His crew was clearly untrained to do the work he sold us, and then he ghosted us after making our bathrooms WORSE than when they began. He said they'd be back "next week" but we haven't heard back from him in over 6 weeks and have to find a replacement contractor now. We wanted to like DA, but the deep carelessness of both Drew & his crew made the whole process miserable. He holds the warranty for our HOA's roof, so he gets a lot of business here and has a lot on the line with his reputation. We hired him for an initial $6k trial project to make sure we worked well together; there was another $12k on the line if he did halfway-reasonable work, yet he completely phoned it in over and over. Short list of specifics: - Drew regularly ignored text messages for weeks and failed to provide basic information that we asked for, even after reminders. - When the crew showed up, they did less than half the work that was on the invoice, then told us they were done with it ALL and left without letting us inspect the attic. They "finished" a scheduled 2-day project after around 4 total hours of work (which would have made the project cost $500/hour/person). I made them come back for the second day of work and they redid nearly everything. - Drew promised 10-14" of cellulose attic insulation, but we ended up getting cheaper fiberglass in hit-or-miss piles as low as 4". - I asked why they blew fiberglass instead of cellulose; he told me the ceilings "couldn't handle cellulose." I asked why he originally promised cellulose in that case; he said he "must have meant fiberglass" and that it's "comparable." But it's not comparable; it's completely different and has numerous downsides that we were specifically trying to avoid. Our HOA manager later confirmed that cellulose was a fine choice and that Drew could have used it. - We wanted to upgrade our rusty old bathroom fans that rattle and make noise, but the new fans he picked off the shelf (without any of our input whatsoever because he couldn't be bothered to ask) are even louder than before. They emit 94 decibels, which is as loud as a lawn mower (and louder than a vacuum cleaner); running these fans for more than 1 hour would literally be a NIOSH violation. - Drew argued that the fans were acceptable and were "in the contract" even though he never even asked us what fans we wanted (and the contract didn't specify a fan). Then after he left, the crew said "wow, it is a loud fan" when they thought we couldn't hear. - We weren't quoted for the cost of the building permit which turned out to be an extra $200+ surprise. His controller Jane was the only good part about the process; she was competent and responsive, so at least we were able to pay them on time for this nightmare.

He even took pictures to show us the damage on the roof. We were very satisfied with the price we paid for the work that was completed. I would recommend All Approved Construction to everyone-reasonable prices, knowledgable, trustworthy and friendly. We plan on calling All Approved Construction for any future home repairs.

Craig was kind and very communicative through the whole process. He came out while I was away and fixed the roof. When I came home, it was as if nothing even happened to the roof. It looks sooo good! I am having him do some other areas that need fixing too. He even offered to get the parts for me so I didn't have to go to a hardware store and figure out what to purchase...as I'm not very good with those sorts of things. I can barely change a lightbulb. All Approved Construction does a fantastic job, and best of all, they are very friendly, honest and trustworthy, as Jennifer G. mentioned in her review. The prices are great! The first company spent (wasted) almost 3 hours at the house then dropped a ridiculous quote on us. I honestly felt like they were trying to sell us a time share with their hard sell tactics and buddy/buddy attitude towards us. The second company was better. The rep was here for around two hours and wasn't as obnoxious as the ones from the first company. The prices were better but still pretty high for what we were having done. Napier's was our third quote. My wife and I were around 10 min late meeting the rep at our house. While waiting for us, he went up on the roof, checked everything out, measured everything out, and had the quote ready. He spent maybe 15 minutes going through everything and the quote was around $4k less than the next cheapest quote we'd received. We appreciated his no nonsense, no BS approach and signed on the spot! The new roof was installed the following week while we were at work & we couldn't be happier with how it turned out! They did a fantastic job on both install and cleanup. My neighbor even commented on how impressed she was that they came into her yard to clean up, too! If you're looking for a no nonsense, honest company for a roof, do yourself a favor and contact Napier's first. You'll save yourself time AND money and won't have to sit through a high pressure sales pitch. As our rep said, "Napier's is a roofing company. The others are marketing companies that sell roofs". He did a quick and thorough quote and didn't push at all. Very well communicated throughout the project. The install team of Derek, Jason and Pat were super efficient and clean. I had high anxieties due to the size of windows and working in bedrooms but it was kept SO clean. Total of 17 windows (some were 3-piece sets) were replaced within 2 days. They laid plastic on the carpet and cleaned every room fully before moving on. Even 2 windows which were found to have serious framing damage within the wall from years of leak were repaired without concern. Interior and exterior trim work is 100% quality and they did so great matching to existing. We are so happy with our project, reassured to know our home is protected from leaks on these windows and we will be back for the second half of our home as phase 2.
