Rapid Roof instlled my lifetime roof in 2013(Assured me it would last 30 years plus !) By Sept 2025 it was leaking and Damaging my dry wall ceiling . Rapid came out claimed they were submitting samples to GAF for warrnaty replacemnt .April 2026 they patched bad areas and claimed GAF found no quality issues and closed case (Initial case took 6 months start to finish) . Aug 2026 more leaks 11 across entire roof .waited 13 days for rapid to respond they made repairs that DID NOT address leaks . I Called GAF (Shingle Manufacturer ) and found out they NEVER Submitted samples !( can you say FRAUD) In addition Rapid Roof not GAF closed my case on April 13 2026 claiming it was no longer needed because they had REPLACED MY ROOF ! This was a total lie .Stay away from these people they are sugary sweet on the phone and in person but when truly needed they are never around and NEVER return calls !Bill Beaty the original owner has passed and the new owners are running this business into the ground ! After getting estimates from 6 roofing companies to replace our roof, we narrowed our selection to two firms. After carefully evaluating the merits of each, including reading Yelp and other reviews, we ended up selecting Rapid Roofing to do the work, even though they were not the cheapest. They were chosen because of the warranty they were able to provide (GAF Golden Pledge), provided a discount on the middle tier shingle due to a promotion that was in effect at the time, and because of interactions with Lee Ehlers, their Sales Consultant, who did an excellent job explaining what we should expect to happen before, during and after the installation. On installation day, the roofing crew arrived on time, and did a great job protecting the outside (i.e., landscaping, whole home generator, central AC unit, windows, etc.) from flying shingles and other debris. Onsite foreman, Josiah, did a top notch job in supervising the roofing crew resulting in the work being done within 8 hours. We found very few nails on the ground and no other debris when they left, so they did a good job of cleaning up afterward. Additionally, even though a few window screens were damaged during the tear off process, Josiah had them replaced within 48 hours. About 2 months after the installation, we noticed siding around the chimney was damaged and called Rapid Roofing to address. Dale Climer, their Service Manager, ensured our concerns were addressed, which were cosmetic (caused no leaking) and the siding was replaced in a timely manner. Everyone at Rapid Roofing was very professional to work with including the roofing crew, and our overall experience has been excellent. Jamason came out to look at my roof and prepare an estimate, which they stuck to. They were able to schedule us 10 days later to replace the roof. They did a great job, and it was reasonably quick. It took the, from about 8 am - 2 pm. All the discarded materials were disposed of as they worked through it, and I haven't seen a single nail or piece of roofing in the yard. Jamason was excellent with communication! He called very shortly after my original call. He let me know every step of the way what was happening, such as when the dumpster would arrive and the materials delivered. Overall, it was a great experience and I would provide a very positive reference for them. read more

We had our roof done in Westland Michigan a typical ranch bot the house and detached Garage was done and as of yet we have had no problems our roof has been done for over 5 years. They were the only company to put 9 feet of ice shield replaced the first 2 sheets of plywood all around house. If you are looking for a good place to get your roof done I think you will find it in rapid roofing. read more

I had a new roof installed by this company 2 years ago and they never bothered to fix the leak in my roof in the same spot before installation. I'm listening to the rain drops in my kitchen as we speak and it's disgusting how they refused to fix the problem. I spent over 23,000 dollars for a new roof. They are not honoring the warranty because I posted a review about their company on BBB and in Google Reviews. I was told if I remove my negative reviews they would fix my roof. So because I didn't, they didn't fix the problem. At first I didn't feel like going back and forth with them in the reviews and didn't have the money to take them to court so I sat on this matter. But today I had enough of listening to the water coming in my house destroying my ceiling. read more

I agree with everything Frankie says right up until it was time for them to to do the work. Scheduling the job took awhile and with the spring thaw earlier last year we were trying to avoid further ceiling damage inside the home we had just purchased. Time was of the essence. It took them a couple weeks to get the job scheduled and then once the roof was on it took a couple more weeks to complete the other portions of the job like installing a (custom) chimney cap, which I realize adds time for fabrication. Paul did a great job initially pitching us the company, not coming off too "salesy", but I think he oversold the products and the services more than he should have, especially in regard to the gutter guard system they had installed. I've been less than thrilled with the product. They do in fact guard against debris falling into the gutters but they also guard against heavy rainwater flowing into the gutters. Because of the large surface area of aluminum in ratio to the small drainage holes rainwater tends to pool on top of the plates and eventually flows over the edge of the gutters, at least in our experience. To exacerbate the problem the shingles were left too long in certain areas leaving only 1 5/8" of the guard exposed where as most of the remaining perimeter of our house was left with 3 1/4" exposed. Needless to say, instead of rain draining through the guards it was flowing over the edge in said areas, and pooling below against our walls, running down the side of the foundation where it caused basement leaks. The owner, Bill, sent the gutter subcontractors back out to check the problem while we weren't home. They didn't see any problem and didn't correct the problem. Once I called Bill again he sent one of his guys over to trim the shingles back. I had also installed other gutter guards that work much better to deal with the issue. In addition to this hiccup, when we originally cut RR our check they cashed it immediately, even prior to the date that we had agreed on and that I had written on the check (FYI the date you write on a check has NO bearing on when a check can be cashed - evidently, if you've signed it it can be cashed). They overdrafted our account. Thankfully, they remedied the situation by crediting our account balance, but it was something that shouldn't have even become an issue. Overall I thought RR did a nice job on our roof install. They can be a little difficult to reach at times and don't callback very readily. If I'm being honest, I felt there were a few too many hiccups with the process. I'd recommend them but with reservations. I was less than impressed with their overall cleanup of our property, reaching a decision maker to speak to was difficult, their workmanship was mostly great and their salesman made a great presentation. That said, I realize they probably had a lot of work to knock out with winter coming but the lack of customer service was telling. My advice would be to steer clear of the gutter guards they offer. They just don't work very well. I'd also get an agreed upon end date for the job, and sign on it. Lastly, make sure you're home to inspect the clean up after the roofing job. Not only was a lot of nail debris left around the house but one of my gutter's downspout elbows was so impacted with nails and ballast grit from the shingle tear off that it clogged the elbow solidly. I had to remove it myself to empty it before water would flow through it. read more

I went online to request a quote and immediatley recieved a call to set the appt. Paul came out and was very polite, knowledable and very professional. That was the end of the upside of Rapid Roofing. Our appointment was on May 10th and as of today we have not seen a quote from Rapid. I have emailed and called but recieved no response. read more

Rapid was recommended by a friend who is a contractor and they were professional, accommodating to us taking time to make a decision about what we wanted. They were price competitive and most importantly to me, genuine and not "salesy" they were great at explaining our options and the price points at each level. Other roofers that we got quotes from seemed more interested in pushing us toward everything premium which always turns me off. When it came to getting the work done, they were quick and cleaned up well. Great overall experience. read more

Went on line to get a quote for a roof I needed done ASAP and in about 20 later the most rude women I have ever talk to from rapid roof OR rapid home improvement whichever they go by today called and started but asking to many questions about my house. Such as am I the sole owner would I be making all the decision today and is the house for sale. I asked her why all the questions I am looking for a roof. She stated "I am not going to waste our time if you just want a quote. Needless to say if their company is that rude prior to doing the roof maybe the negative comment seen here are correct. I was working with a different roofer and was having issues. Mike, from Rapid Roof, came out to my house and exceeded my expectations. He was detailed, explained roof replacement process including labor, warranty, product, etc., helped me select a roof color and grade and was even able to accommodate the addition of a vent fan in my bathroom which I had given up on! In contrast to my first experience with a competitor, Rapid Roof operated fairly, provided a competitive quote and was extremely customer-focused. The installation process was also outstanding.
