I left numerous voicemail messages and Jim refuses to answer the telephone. This is not how you do business with people. I'll find another roofing contractor and I suggest you do the same.

My response: First, we all knew there was rotten wood on the garage roof - that was why we were replacing it. The problem with the invoice was not the discovery of additional rotten wood. It was that whoever created the invoice added work that was already included in our quote. Second, the final inspection never happened when it was supposed to. There wouldn't have been a car "in the way" if it had been. And that doesn't explain why Tresnak didn't remove the pile of construction debris outside of the garage when the supervisor finally did come back. In short, Tresnak just didn't finish the job. Finally, it took over a week for anyone from Tresnak to respond to my calls. If you want to take the week off, by all means, do so. Maybe communicating that you are closed for the week would be a good idea instead of just ignoring calls. Pretty sure there's an opportunity for you to put that message in your voicemail system.
