Also, the estimator (whom I believe was the owner's son) was very kind and available to answer all our questions, without any condescension or indifference. After the install, which took about 1-1/2 days, there were a few items I had mentioned that were overlooked, and when I contacted the owner, instead of being met with indignation (as I expected), I was met with compassion and understanding. The items were remedied within a few days. Everything looks great! No more leaking roof. -------------------------------------- On a side note, my neighbor (weeks later) said she saw many nails in her driveway, and when she said something to the workers, they were really rude. She said the next day there were food rappers and more nails in her yard/driveway, and said she ended up with a roof nail in her tire with a flat. I emphatically apologized to her but there wasn't much more I could do. I also later found 2 cigarettes (one smoked and the other whole) in my attic, and have found nails here and there for weeks now. For these last few reasons, I could not offer a 5-star rating, and almost put 3 stars, but 3 would not be indicative of the overall quality, which is more important to me from a roofer than attitude--though if everyone had an attitude similar to the owner's son, 5 stars would be an easy rank. Overall, the experience was good, but not great, though I would recommend them over others. I would only advise that every detail be written down, and that the owners have a little more oversight on their daily crews, just for quality (and attitude) control. read more

Got a quote to fix bad flashing on my roof after discovering a leak. The guy who came out to quote the service was very professional, however the company itself was extremely unprofessional. Four weeks after the quote and we still had no communication with this company unless we called ourselves, and even then we got the voicemail 9 times out of 10. When someone did answer, they gave us a new excuse every time. Apparently our job wasn't worth the money, and instead of canceling on us or keeping their word they just ghosted us. Our roof could've been fixed much sooner with the company we actually went with in the end and it would've prevented further damage. Shame on these guys. read more

I initially called about having an enclosed porch rebuilt. My call was promptly returned and was advised they didn't do that type of work but I was given several suggestions for other companies to try. I appreciated the fact that I was called back. I could have easily been blown off as other contractors do. I decided to keep this business on my list as I am doing quite a few renovations. I called them again about having some flashing replaced. Had MCM out for a siding and tim job on 7/26/2016. While they did a good job on the actual job, the response to anything else just isn't there. $20 grand was initially spent and they were all over the job, but I had a piece of roof trim come off in 2022. No big deal, mother nature. Called MCM and they came out to give an estimate to myself and my neighbor who had a piece of trim come off as well. We were given a card from Michael and was told I will give you a call with your estimate. Ok, well over 3 weeks have went by and no call. My multiple calls and voicemail messages haven't been returned. Either business is that good or they don't care unless it's under warranty. My money is still green last time I checked. Wouldn't recommend this company unless you want to shell out alot of money and not be able to have contact after your warranty is over. Very disappointing. read more

On August 20th, almost 2 months after we received our initial quote, MCM finally sent out a team to do a siding job on my home. After them moving all of my stuff out of the basement and leaving my home a mess, they decided that this job was too much work for them and they cleared out their tools and left the job.
