Most wanted to sell me a new roof (18 yrs old, not needed or wanted). Some wanted to replace half, to guarantee their work. All were WAY too expensive.The process was very frustrating. On a referral, i called Butch at Pilgrims Roof. He came out, assessed the problem, explained it to me, and gave me a fair price and start date. No haggling necessary. Very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. His son and crew came out on time and reviewed what they were going to do before they started. No surprises, no delays. They did a great job, professional and patient with all my questions. They cleaned up and had me inspect their work before they left. I have waited 2 weeks for a strong rain storm to test their work, before i sat down to write this review. No leaks, no drips, just like they promised. These guys have been fixing roofs for quite awhile and are great at it. They care about their work and reputation. They know what they are doing and will fix it right, the first time. The first company spent (wasted) almost 3 hours at the house then dropped a ridiculous quote on us. I honestly felt like they were trying to sell us a time share with their hard sell tactics and buddy/buddy attitude towards us. The second company was better. The rep was here for around two hours and wasn't as obnoxious as the ones from the first company. The prices were better but still pretty high for what we were having done. Napier's was our third quote. My wife and I were around 10 min late meeting the rep at our house. While waiting for us, he went up on the roof, checked everything out, measured everything out, and had the quote ready. He spent maybe 15 minutes going through everything and the quote was around $4k less than the next cheapest quote we'd received. We appreciated his no nonsense, no BS approach and signed on the spot! The new roof was installed the following week while we were at work & we couldn't be happier with how it turned out! They did a fantastic job on both install and cleanup. My neighbor even commented on how impressed she was that they came into her yard to clean up, too!
