They went through all the pros and cons of material and construction options with me so I could make the best decision for my needs and budget. They also provided written documentation of how they were going to do everything - details on how the support posts would be set, on the structure, and on the deck boards, etc, many of which were beyond what the local building code requires. And then they were able to deliver on what they said they would do. The new support structure for my deck is rock solid, I swear I could park a truck on it. Good communication with me throughout the entire process. And the finished product is beautiful. I went with a composite deck material. "I'm just getting started with my own window-washing business and bartending on the side," he said. "Oh??? I could actually use someone! Our other guy was quite pricey." He gave me his card, and I called later that week. Matt is professional and extremely thorough (even down to the fact that he puts on booties over his shoes when he comes in the house.) We've been calling on him for several years now, and love to see that his business has grown (and rightfully so!) He now has a partner Tyler, and they both do a great job and will go the distance to work around our schedules: My husband, sons and I all work mostly from home now and we're occasionally in their way or on calls, so I'm sure it disrupts their normal routine. Now that it's been a few years, I even trust them with our garage code and am comfortable with them just doing their thing if I need to run an errand - and for me, that says a lot. Accent recently completed our master bath remodel. It was a total gut with the toilet moved from…read moreone end of the room to the other walk-in shower was added, removing the jacuzzi tub. We are extremely happy with the end product and would go with Accent again. We shopped other larger remodelers but we were never satisfied with their very conventional designs and the others insisted that I didn't have enough space for a water closet and separate vanities. Accent gave me both and the deal was done for me. It ended up taking much longer than we anticipated to complete the work. Almost two months during which we vacated the master bedroom and moved that furniture around so the workers could have easy access to the bathroom, and we didn't want to sleep with the dust in the air. At some point in the process we changed the door for the water closet. The supplier of the door had several delays, so we were not happy about that. But several months later the bathroom is done and we love it. The workmanship is top notch, the tradesmen were great, very friendly and professional and cleaned up behind themselves. Steve & Bill were very easy to work with and the final product looks just like the drawings he did on the computer the first time we met. We would highly recommend Accent, but don't be in a hurry. If you want it to look beautiful it may take some time.

Bill Albert, the owner spent a lot of time with us asking questions, and LISTENING to our desires and dreams. He wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive, but came in within reason on price.
