Communication was on point!…read more I was super happy I didn't need to purchase any new materials - since my backing was pushing in he was able to reuse the existing tile without cracking either. My biggest fear was if mold was behind the tile - he was confident it wasn't. But of course I asked if it was and he did give me a price like I asked so I would be prepared. The work took 2 days due to drying time and he was able to work with my weird schedule as well. Definitely will use company in the future. Side note - the owner came each day to review the workers progress and the work; provided all the update information. Happy home improvement!!!

But I would have done the same job. They did so I have to get another carpenter out here, and I've had a few carpenters that I talked to, who know this boy and he's a swindler, buys the cheapest material. He can buy says he pays his men $30. An hour when I told him that he forgot that he told me that lie not to be trusted. The countertop it was never fixed. It's not level at all. And instead of putting the clamps to hold the sink in place on the bottom of the sink, they decided they would do a real c***** c*** job around it. And it looks like c*** looks like I did it with my eyes. Closed.

I do a lot of business in Michigan and California through Yelp. I have never seen reviews like…read morethis... either 5-stars or 1-star... AND THEY ARE BOTH ACCURATE! Obviously a very nice guy and talented... until he decides he is through with you... whether the job is completed or not! I had the same story. Great communication, knows his biz, nice guy, good work... but a TERRIBLE BUSINESSMAN. Why he would quote these jobs, do work, build relationships and then just disappear is crazy. I actually thought something happened to him until I read these reviews. Unfortunately for us, he left one part of the job (the sanding and painting) unfinished. Now, I have to find someone to come in and clean up his mess. cI've been told I have a nice case for small claims court... and I may just try that route. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME! STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY!

He came on time, communicated well with me, professional, knew his stuff really well, diagnosed a major problem with my sink, offered to fix it right away and he did a very clean, neat job. Iam just moving in to this newly bought property and had a home inspection ..etc per protocols. Looks like the inspector missed this leaky sink and John very wisely picked up the problem and fixed it as well. I highly recommend John for all your Plumbing, electrical, home mtnce issues.

Ryan and his brother were hired to tile the floor of our 3 season room…read more They did a very poor job. There are numerous uneven tiles and the grout is not uniform. Clean-up was inadequate as well. Initially, Ryan seemed trustworthy and dependable and told us that he stands behind his work, ensuring we the customers are happy with the job. Unfortunately, actions speak louder than words, and Ryan left us with a floor that poses a tripping hazard. He did reduce the price of the job by $500.00 after I pointed out all of the mistakes, and how mortified we are with the results of his workmanship. But, we'll probably spend that much and more paying someone else to correct his mistakes.

Hired Knr to install my new kitchen cabinets. I gave decent rating for punctuality to start job,…read moreotherwise it would have been zero stars. Very dissatisfied with the service and the attention to detail. Some of the problems: -made unnecessary holes in the wall cabinets while hanging the cabinets (after missing the studs). -wrong fasteners to attach cabinets together ( not counter sunk), -damaged drywall -damaged the bottoms of wall cabinets by over tightening cabinet screws and into studs (mushrooming the cabinet wood) -installing cabinets in wrong order and having to move around. -incorrectly attaching filler pieces - holes in trim that were not filled. Hundreds of dollars of uneccesary damage to my cabinet investment. Two weeks after "completion" I am still correcting their mistakes. Unable to be home on the "last day" due to family obligations. I left Ken a check and I assumed ALL the issues would have been corrected before he left. Not all were corrected. I called to complain, left Ken a message, but have not heard anything back in over a week. Generally I try to do most of my own work. I was apprehensive to let someone else hang my cabinets. Simply ran out of time to do it myself. Lesson learned, spell out everything in the contract. Discuss all the installation options and verify quality of work before paying. -

They did a WONDERFUL job. They arrived on time and worked quickly getting many things done for me…read more Very nice guys . I highly recommend them.

The good: They are good at getting to the house in a timely fashion and they are very punctual…read more The bad: They are EXTREMELY expensive. They charge $120/hour PLUS a $70 trip fee, which is outrageous. They also don't expect to get the job done in one trip because they may need parts. That is understandable. I had 3 things that needed to be done: a kitchen drawer was stuck needed to be put back on its tracks, a dripping handle in the tub needed to fixed and the stopper needed to be fixed as well, and a plunger needed to be put back in the sink. The sink turned into a debacle because one sink was installed on top of the other -- a fact unknown to me until Stephan tried to fix it. When he was spending too long on this job, I told him it was not that big a deal, but he'd gotten to a point of no return (the sink was leaking) and he actually had to call in his boss to help. They spent several hours on this just to get it back to where they started. Fortunately, they said they did not charge me for the time spent on this part of the project. Stephan took care of the kitchen drawer in about 15 minutes. He was able to get it out, straighten the rail and put it back in. But, the drawer still makes a scraping noise. The bathroom handles did, indeed need cartridges. When I sent the video and picture before booking the appointment, the office manager, Cindy, told me that it would probably need a cartridge. I'm not sure how long Stephan spent with the faucet and stopper, as I'd long lost track by then. But when he left, hot water was pouring from the faucet, even after I turned off the handle in the adjoining closet. The water filled up numerous buckets. After 3 days, I was finally able to get it to stop pouring by using a needle-nosed pliers and leaving it attached to the screw. When Stephan came back with the parts, he was there for maybe a half hour. I was charged $347.95 for this job: 2 hours of labor + one trip fee. The parts were $37.95. I found this OUTRAGEOUS, as it is nearly 10 times the price of the part. I do appreciate that they didn't charge for 2 trip charges or the time that he spent on the sink, but, given that they knew from the outset what the likely problem was, I find it unconscionable to charge so much. Further, it was $100 more than what they estimated. And adding insult to injury, so to speak, there was dirt in the tub and dirty footprints on my rug! While I found Stephan pleasant and the company convenient, the next time I need odd jobs done, I will go with someone who is independent and doesn't charge and arm and a leg.
