Fixed a stubborn drain that was clogged the same day we called. Polite and professional company.

We had/ have a slow draining clog in the sewer line. I think I called on Thursday they got to us on the following Tuesday. Staff was friendly. Guy who came to service us smelled like weed. I smoke so I have nothing against it but when you're paying through the nose for a service I guess I expect some sort of professionalism and smelling like a dispensary to me isn't acceptable when you're working. I recieved a quote when they got here, they wouldn't give one over the phone. They are quite expensive. He showed me one price of one thousand some dolllars for hydrogetting and another for just rootering it for $410 and said they come with a warranty. I didn't want to wait another week for someone else to give me a quote (which is probably exactly why they wont give quotes over the phone) so I just agreed to pay it. My sister for example lives in Bowling Green. She has had this done 4 times and pays about $250 and they get rid of the roots. I paid the $410 . When he was done he said there are roots and if you don't pay the thousand for us to remove them they say I can't give you the warranty. They should probably lead with that. Update. 2 days later and my toilet is barely flushing. So yeah. read more

Had to replace drain lines under slab foundation. This was under an insurance claim. The work started fine but as the job went on it became clear our house was not a priority. The workers were fine though the apprentices doing the job should have been under more supervision. They dug deeper than they should have and under structural support. The workers were fine though and the finished job was good. They had to cut through our duct work which they said no problem we will fix it. What I didn't know was that meant installing duct that was to big then filling them with water expanding foam and then poorly wrapped. Now comes the company. They are the absolute worst I've ever dealt with. On hold forever til they hang up on you. Lie to you about when they are coming back. The owner told me I was supposed to get a HVAC company to fix my duct and denied they ever said they would fix it even though it was right out of their mouths. Blew me off for days at a time and would lie to me on the phone while I was on speaker with their worker right next to me who told me one thing and the office is contradicting what he just said not knowing he was listening. They lied about the inspector being scheduled. Keep in mind this is an insurance claim so we need to get payments made and be able to start putting our house back together. It took our insurance adjuster threatening them to finally finish the work. The workers are good. The office is horrible and because of the office I have told people not to use them and I will never use them again read more

Couldn't be happier with the team from T&J. Came out on a Sunday afternoon to snake a main drain to the sewer. Service and pricing was communicated so there were no questions. The jetting team the next day were professional and courteous as well. Great service all around! read more

I have used T&J several times, most recently for flooding in my garage and driveway. Mike responded quickly to my initial after-hours service call and also returned to complete the repair to my drain, which was scheduled during regular hours. He answered all of my questions and communicated with me during the process. Was it expensive? Yes. Was it worth the price? Yes. You get what you pay for and I trust T&J, and Mike. They delivered on the services and Mike took good care of my house - and I'm no longer standing in water above my ankles! I still need additional work done in the future and will be scheduling with them again. read more

Phenomenal company that's actually...... Wait for it...... HONEST. Good pricing and Scott was awesome on site showing my daughter all of the tools and teaching her about them (she's 3). Gas line was put in quickly and they made up for a delay caused by a supplier dropping the ball. THEN to make things even better, I needed them to come out a second time to check a flex line I installed and they came next day. Highly recommended and will use them again if ever needed. My only critique of them would be their early morning time windows of 8-9 usually arrived at 930 on account of their morning meetings. All other times of day they are punctual and called before arriving. read more

Horrible customer service! Called a couple days ago to set up an appt. They called me back saying they would be there in half an hour. But this wasn't a good time and asked them if they could come on Tuesday. They said great and I would receive a call on Monday for confirmation. Well I never received a confirmation call on Monday. I called again today (Tuesday) and they asked me a bunch of questions that they should have asked when I called initially. Not when I'm expecting them to show up because it turns out that they can't even show up because the homeowner is currently not here. We'll she's not here because she's in the hospital. Which was the whole point of me having a plumber look at the house during this time, so it didn't inconvenience her. This information about the homeowner would have been great to know on the first phone call a couple of days ago. I will not use this company ever. read more

We are so happy with T & J! They do everything right!! They answer the phone right away, politely, and schedule an appointment - next day for our old, leaking garbage disposer. Richard brought a new disposer with him, which impressed us, because we were pretty sure that ours couldn't be fixed after 22 years! Installed in under an hour!! Richard is so knowledgeable and professional. He inspires trust. After he replaced the garbage disposer, we decide to ask about our old toilets. We couldn't believe they both could be installed the next week (2 weeks before Christmas!) and in three hours!! We called the office. They scheduled both to be done the next week!! Richard brought James, and the two of them installed two top-of-the line toilets in - 3 hours!! We are delighted!!! The toilets look great - and flush fabulously!! The garbage disposer is so quiet and quick - unlike the old one. It's a Merry Christmas here, for sure, thanks to Richard, James, and everyone at T & J Rooter. read more

Service was great. Expensive! Wow. Quoted Price to install a kitchen faucet? $350. What do you think? Seems over priced. Depends on what your willing to pay for less than 20 min of same day service. You decide. My opinion? Service 5 quality 5 price 1. Way over priced. Friendly guy. Respectful. Sad about the customer wallet busting cost though. read more

I had been happy with T&J for 8 years, before the pandemic. Their work was high quality, although high priced, and I considered it worthwhile. However, they have seemingly doubled their labor charges in the past year. Pre-pandemic, they charged me $90 to install a bathroom faucet, and quoted me the same price ($90 each) to install 3 more identical faucets I later purchased. Today they quoted me $200 apiece, and told me it was a deal because the normal price was $300 apiece. Sine I was present when they replaced the first faucet, I knew that it took them 40 minutes, which is $300/hr at their "reduced" rate. Prospective customers: Be sure to get a quote from them (either per job or per hour of labor) BEFORE they show up on your doorstep, because you can't rely on your previous experience with them. read more

Awful communication and follow up. The initial service call in December went well enough, but it's been like pulling teeth to get any response on additional work that was needed. I've called at least four times in the last 5 months and each time I've been promised a call back, yet silence. Disappointed since most of their reviews have been positive, I guess I'm just unlucky. We called T & J out after having some drainage issues in our house. We had one company come out to "fix" the problem, only they didn't fix anything at all. Several other companies told us we needed MAJOR expensive repairs done to fix the issue but after calling T & J and getting incredibly fast service, Toby came out and fixed the problem in an hour. We had our hot water tank go out and obviously cold showers are not ideal, so we decided to call multiple plumbers for estimates. T and J was able to send someone out within an hour , the tech was here in a matter of minutes, quoted us a ridiculously high price and then left. He was going back to the warehouse to see if they had a tank in stock. We get a call about another hour later and they had a tank but we asked him to break down the pricing. He said he couldn't and he asked what we thought we should pay. We told him and he said he would run it by his boss and call us back. We never got a call back. Needless to say we will not be calling T and J for any services in the future. read more

After calling several 24 hour plumbing companies to repair an emergency valve failure on a Sunday afternoon and being informed no one was available we called T&J Rooter Service and they showed up and professionally fixed the problem, even locating parts for our older plumbing system and repairing the toilet we set out to fix that caused the problem. I strongly recommend T&J Rooter Service. About as friendly and courteous as a business can get. For the type of business they are, they took every precaution (and I mean every) to ensure 1) their work area was left as least cleaner than it was when they arrived, and 2) that they didn't track anything into the house or around it. With this type of business, this should be a concern but it wasn't with T&J. When we had our outside sewer replaced recently, the work was done professionally and expedient. The next day they had two gentlemen return who leveled out the dirt, spread grass seed and layed the straw. With the outside cleanout now in my front yard and sticking out, I was concerned about running it over wit the lawnmower. One of the gentlemen suggested I get out my mower so he can ensure me the pipe was low enough for the lawn mower to go over! For me, that is going above-and-beyond! Fantastic job all the way around. Every worker there had an assignment and they stuck to it. Didn't see anyone standing around and talking. Lets not forget the office personnel too. Very friendly and helpful.
