The 4runner quickly became one of my all time favourites and was one of the vehicles in my "dream garage". It was a car that I had longed for a good number of years and when it was announced that the 6th Gen was going to be a hybrid, I knew this was the right time to acquire one. Fast forward to current times, the team at Regency Toyota in Vancouver undeniably made the purchase memorable from start to finish. Eman, the product advisor was very clear about the ordering process, the options of the vehicle while talking about the specs and features, and more importantly the wait times. Fred, the sales manager, kept me updated about stock availability and time of arrival. Reilly the delivery specialist was very precise and clear when it came time to explain the car and he helped me get set up with Toyota Connected Services, showed me all the tech goodies of the car, and ensured that the delivery process went as smooth as silk. Jamie, the financial services manager, also helped explain everything we were getting with warranty, and the whole process was quick and painless. The moment we picked up our 4Runner on Saturday was definitely one for the books. Our son received a Reggie Panda plushie and took delight in being able to help Eman put on the plates on our new car. Undeniably, the staff at Regency Toyota is the best team in town where every customer matters and they go the distance to create moments that matter for all the customers. To everyone at Regency Toyota, thank you truly

I do not recommend Spike Automotive Ltd. In August 2024, I…read morebrought my vehicle to Spike Auto for repairs. A dispute later arose regarding the repair charges. The owner, Tony, reported the matter to the RCMP (File No. R124-28917). I was advised by the RCMP that if I paid the repair costs in full, the complaint would be withdrawn. With RCMP assistance, the full repair amount was paid on December 12, 2024. There has been no outstanding balance since that date. Despite full payment, Spike Automotive Ltd. has refused to discharge the repairer's lien on my vehicle and has demanded an additional $500 fee that was never agreed to or disclosed. Because the lien remains active, I have been unable to sell my vehicle. I have tried to resolve this matter reasonably, but the lien has still not been released. I am now pursuing formal dispute resolution. Based on my experience, I have serious concerns about their business practices and transparency Customers should be very cautious and ensure all terms and fees are clearly documented in writing before authorizing any repairs.

When I chose the least expensive option, they still treated me like a valued customer. They completed the job on time, and within budget. Since then, the vehicle has been waiting on a replacement part that is currently on backorder. While this situation is obviously unlucky, the lack of communication and support has been disappointing. Ford head office did approve a temporary loaner (a Santa Cruz), but has not replied any follow up emails I've sent. Brown Bros has also offered very little assistance. I never heard back from the sales associate I worked with, and when I contacted management, I was told the issue was entirely out of their hands and that responsibility fell solely on head office. I am actively paying for a truck that I cannot drive, and I would have expected the dealership that sold it to take a more proactive role in supporting me. At the very least, some effort to advocate on my behalf would have gone a long way. I don't want to portray them negatively, but I do expect a level of service that earns a positive review.
