They…read morewere quick, at one point it was going to rain mid-way through the install so they pulled out all the stops and they got my roof done ahead of schedule before it rained. Since then the roof has held up great! Last week I started seeing a leak on the outside of my house. I called them up and the owner sent someone out the same day just to rule anything out. When they came out we both agreed that it didn't look like there was anything wrong with the roof, but that didn't stop them for doing their best to stop it from leaking they added some caulking around some holes in the stucco and masonry and fixed up some of the flashing near the leak. After that, it was still leaking, but Brad, the owner, was kind enough to come out again, even though it had NOTHING to do with the roof just to double-check on me and make sure that I was doing well. At the end of the day, they took off a side gutter and found a hole in the wall that the builders had left from when the house was built. Again, STILL not roof related, but they treated me like family and helped me as if it were and fixed it up for me. Literally cannot say enough good things about WDR! I've never found a company that is this helpful or this responsive.

LOA Roofing & Construction

[Update] LOA reached out to me after seeing my complaint. They acknowledged that the placement of…read morethe scuppers could have been handled better and agreed to issue a refund for the gutter installation. In addition, they assured me that they would send someone to inspect the ponding water if the issue worsens during next year's rainy season. I appreciate that they took customer feedback seriously, and as a result, I've updated my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars. Context: I recently bought a house with a flat roof. This flat roof has 3 major areas. Because the original roof was poorly done, I decided to replace 2 parts of the 3. I hired LOA to install a 135mil TPO roof for this residential house. They came and installed the TPO from October 21 to 25, 2025. The total project costed $18,280. As I just bought the house, I paid the full amount out of my own pocket. My experience with LOA was a bit mixed. I will start from the positive side. Their price was competitive. I got 3 roofers to give me quotes for 80mil TPO and all had great reviews on both Yelp and Google. The highest quote was around $24K and the lowest one was around $16k. LOA's original quote ($16680) was in the middle but was very similar to the lowest one. Additionally, their sales representative was very responsive and helpful and that was one major reason why I chose LOA over the lowest one. After I decided to hire LOA, they even offered me 135mil if I added $1K because they had some leftover 135mil from another commercial project and I decided to take it. Basically the experience before the actual installation started was very positive. However, after the installation actually got started, the experience was mixed. First of all, they changed the crew just a couple of days before the installation because LOA got a big commercial project and that crew was assigned to that commercial project. But they told me the new crew was also experienced and ensured that I didn't need to worry about it. But what happened next didn't seem to show the new crew was that competent -- Initially I was told the whole installation would take 1 day, but in fact, it took the crew 5 days to complete. For me, taking longer time to complete the installation was not a big issue because I'd rather them do it right. Later they told me one of the reasons why the new crew spent so much time was because the new crew actually replaced all 3 parts of the roof rather than just 2 parts. This was a nice surprise since they didn't charge me more for that. But apparently there was a communication issue between LOA and the crew. Additionally, because of the installation delay, the weather changed and we got a bit of rain before the installation was fully completed, but they told me the roof was mechanically sealed so I didn't need to worry about the rain during the installation. When the rain actually came after the entire roof was installed, that was when the problems began. The first problem was the placement of the scuppers: two of them were positioned right above my wooden deck. Whenever it rained, water poured straight onto the deck. After I complained, LOA explained that the original roof had been designed that way. Although they could have positioned the scuppers in different places, they said they simply followed the original design since I hadn't specifically asked for changes. I found this frustrating -- I'm not a professional roofer and as a new homeowner I expected them to use their expertise to warn me about potential issues like this in advance. Unfortunately, they didn't consider the bigger picture when installing the roof. Anyway, as I felt I couldn't entirely blame LOA, I decided to spend additional $600 for them to install a gutter to redirect the water away from the deck. The second problem was ponding water. Even 36 hours after the rain had stopped, I could still see standing waters in at least 3 areas of the roof. One of these spots (number 1 in the photo) was exactly where the original roof had issues. Even worse, two of the ponding areas (number 1 and 2 in the photo) were located on the seams. I raised this concern with LOA again, but they said they wouldn't worry unless the waster remained for more than 4 days -- despite the fact that information from other roofers' websites suggests ponding water could be a concern if it lasts 24-48 hours. LOA told me they would eventually come back and apply some lower-grade TPO over the seams when they had leftover material from other projects. I don't know when they will do it but for now, I'll wait for them to do that since it's not the rainy season yet. I hope it will address the ponding issue. I also plan to monitor the roof during the rainy season in May and June to see if the water persists for more than four days.

Trey and his team were great, very reliable which is hard to find these days. Highly recommend!read more

I provided pictures for two of my items to get fixed: ceiling sheetrock in the garage and trim around the window. John came with Bonnie to do our job, and provided us quite different quotes, which still seemed reasonable, but much higher, more than double for the labor. It also felt strange as he separated both jobs into separate quotes, all discussed verbally. The quote for the ceiling did not match the original quote, was higher. For the window the quote was much higher, but I saw their hesitation there, observing their body language. We still decided to move forward. John and Bonnie went to Home Depot to pick up supplies & started to work in the garage, fixing the sheetrock and did a good job. I was happy about a great job they've done. However, they said they will have to come back to work on the window. We made a time next week. In the morning, a couple of hours before they were suppose to show up, I texted to confirm they were coming, and to my disappointment I received a text saying they will not. John gave an excuse I did not believe in, as things were not adding up at all. He said they will "cancel until further notice". John did not return my texts or phone calls afterwards. It was clear they did not want to do the job in the first place, but was not telling it directly. I was very disappointed they did not finish the job they accepted. I know they are starting up this side of the business and they did a great job with the ceiling. But being flaky and following through with the commitment seems like is a major deal breaker for me and pretty common in this type of business.

Chase and his team initially answered the phone and came to our house following multiple water slab pipe leaks (cold and hot lines) in our kitchen and living room area. He helped us with mitigation was super nice, easy to deal with, and fully understood that me and my family were going through a lot of stress at the time. They sectioned off the area that needed to be dried out and ensure all the dehumidifiers, blowers and purifier units were placed inside this area to help control the heat in an area without any AC vents. This made a huge difference for us since it allowed us to continue to live in our home while going through this painful and lengthy process and still have full use of our kitchen sink throughout the entire 3 month process. We also decided to use them for the restoration portion of the job which we didn't have to do. That's when we worked with Andrew and Tanner as well as Rodrigo and Nelson. They had a lot of work to do including replacing all of our kitchen cabinets, doing lots of dry wall repairs throughout the home, add insulation inside walls, plus much more. They worked with our schedule throughout the entire process and kept us up to date with texts and emails so we always knew what was happening at any given point. Mostly, they were professional, always punctual, fully knowledgeable and patient with us. We would highly recommended them.

Together Design and Build came in and, within just a few days, completely turned things around for us. The work on our shower door, bathroom tile curb, and wall painting was done with incredible attention to detail. Everything looks clean, polished, and professionally finished. I especially want to recognize Dan H -- he is absolutely awesome. From start to finish, Dan was knowledgeable, responsive, and clearly takes pride in his work. His expertise and commitment to doing the job right made all the difference. You can tell he genuinely cares about customer satisfaction and quality results. If you're looking for a company that shows up, works efficiently, fixes problems the right way, and delivers beautiful results, I highly recommend Together Design and Build. [UPDATE TO THE BELOW REVIEW: This evening (Dec. 2nd) I received a call from Ido the owner, which I…read morefound highly offensive as it came after Ido reported that I lied about my experience to the BBB. The owner refuses to take responsibility in public, while sending nicer emails in private and trying to phone . . . this is /deception/ on a stick. You do not say one thing in public and in private say "I didn't really mean that." Ido is upset this negative review and would like it gone, but is unwilling to apologize or be truthful. I'll be updating all my social media reviews according. You'll notice that there are a sudden rash of bad reviews, not just from me. Do business with this guy at your risk.] I have tried to use this company twice. Both times, appointments were easy to set-up and Maria (not sure how to spell her name) was kind, helpful, and lovely. I had a minor flood and needed a company to work with my home insurance for the repairs. "Together Design" was one of four contractors I consulted, all with excellent reviews here and on Google. Avri the project manager was courteous and helpful, and was the last estimate I needed for the insurance company. I waited some weeks, but an estimate never came. I finally called the Avri's phone number on the caling card he cave me (I think I woke him up, sounded groggy at first). Avri said that my expectation for an estimate was misguided, and that he's being doing this job for quite a while. He said that the way "Together Design" works is that they only provided an estimate once I hired them. I said this is backwards, that I am to receive estimates and select the company I felt comfortable with in consultation with my adjuster. Avri stared to make excuses, none of which addressed my concern--that to consider them, I needed an estimate. I found his customer service quite rude: he kept cutting me off, he would not listen, he was defensive, made excuses, and so on. He stressed his experience, to which I responded three other contractors have already provided estimates and I was waiting for his. Avri said estimate-first is not how they do business, but he would get an estimate to my adjuster ASAP anyway. After a few days without an estimate, I went with another contractor. Maria called to follow up, and I told her my issues. She asked if I could give them another chance, I said not at the time, as time was of the essence and I needed the work to start yesterday. Disappointing, but I was ready to move on. Flash forward five months later, and I haired a crooked contractor who I am now unfortunately suing (cannot review them yet until that suit moves forward). I remembered Maria asking if I could give them another chance, so I decided to call again. Like the first time, communication was clear, easy, and Maria was very easy to work with. I was asked if I wanted to work with Avri again, and I said absolutely not given how poorly he handed the first time. Days later, however, I received a phone call and Maria said she was "calling with news." After she shared with the project managers my videos and photographs, they concluded my "scope" of my project was "not a good fit." I asked if it was "too small" or "two large" of a job. She said, "uhhhh . . . legally I can't say." I found this quite odd. She apologized, expressed wanting to help, but it was not something they are willing to do. I asked again why, and she would not say. Perhaps it was because I did /not/ want to work with Avri, but another PM. As I was about to post this review, I received a message from "Ido" who said their company /only/ takes on remodels from "start to finish." This was the first I have heard this excuse, it's certainly not mentioned in their advertising. If this were truly the case, I should have been told this upfront so I did not waste my time again. Maria asked I give them a second chance, and I did. This is a private business, and it's their right to turn down any client. Absolutely. It's also my right to report my experience. I'm trying to be careful not to be too judgement, but not being "legally" able to tell me why they wouldn't take the job the second time appears deceitful, as does "Ido's" explanation they /now/ only do start-to-finish remodels. Your milage may vary.
