Looks like you are using Yelp to find goods and services? Good idea! There are many services out there and many companies and people that hope to offer you those services, and for most of recorded history one would be at the mercy of a random finger in the yellow pages. Not anymore, power as it were, now rests in the hands of the people. I needed 3 things; A dumpster rental, a quote and information regarding getting said dumpster to my house. So I turned to Yelp and used the quote system and at the ended up with about four quotes. But I had many questions, and Danny was very quick on the response, quoted me a fair price and allowed the dumpster rental for 20 days which was a BIG plus for me. Did I mention he answered my questions promptly? Look, I have dealt with the murky depths of contractors and callbacks...not a good time. Danny shattered my expectations and what's more, on the day of the delivery I had to check status of the dumpster due to working from home that day and having to be on a conference call I could not leave. Danny got back to me in minutes, contacted the driver and had the driver quote me an updated delivery time which I was able to coordinate with my schedule. Imagine that? Working with MY schedule...Great Job Danny. Bottom line, call Danny and see what I mean. Danny and his team can literally do anything. We had a slab leak that had to be repaired and rerouted through our ceiling, and in the midst of that we found out we had a leaky shower pan and a LOT of water damage. Danny came out and gave me a quote that was detailed, fair and easy to understand. We ended up having to rip out most of our master bath. (The shower floor, half way up the shower walls and an entire wall down to the studs.) I also had a few other projects around the house that I kept adding on, and Danny never minded and always reworked the over all costs for us. They patched the sheetrock in the ceiling and a 6 other places in the walls, completely re-sheetrocked one wall, demo'd our shower, finally sloped the shower floor correctly (it never drained properly before!), matched the tile/grout seamlessly, installed a new vanity, reinstalled a vanity in the guest bath correctly, fixed my back door, built a banister and took an old nasty crawl space under the stairs and helped me turn it into a "hidey hole" for my son. Having a one year old and going through a home renovation like this was stressful. Danny and his guys made it so much easier. They talked to my kid, waved at him, kept their work space as clean as they could during a demo..They were even respectful of nap times! We have to redo our siding on our house soon and Danny is the only one I will be contacting. No other quotes needed. read more

Danny and his team just completed a demo of existing wood flooring and bathroom tile for me and replacing it all with wood look tile. It looks fantastic. I didn't realize I was choosing some of the more difficult tile to lay (6 ft long by 8 inches wide), but the guys did a excellent job. Eduardo and his team were very professional and really did a great job laying the tile, and talking me through how they were going to do it. I felt comfortable giving them a key to my house, and Eduardo texted me each night when they left so that I could set my alarm after they'd locked up, which was great for my peace of mind. They also were able to knock out some additional work for me, like replacing baseboards and adding gutters. Danny was a recommendation from a friend that has had him do lots of different types of work for him as he flips houses. I will definitely be using Danny and his team in the future. Danny has been great to work with! My husband and I just moved from Chicago and bought an old cabin on 5 acres and it came with a lot of projects! We found ourselves in a bit of a bind when we took on a flooring project we didn't have the tools or the time to finish. We called Danny and he came out to our house and gave us a very fair estimate. He fixed a hole left from a plumber in my shower area in just a couple of hours and fixed a lot of mistakes left from a previous tile job. Danny from Floors and More drove up to Wells Branch...on a Sunday...after 4pm...to fix some grout issues before we hand over our recently sold house. Seriously, the guy showed up when he said he would, spent about 5 minutes checking out what needed to be done, then did it. I really expected a bid-and-come-back-in-a-few-days kinda thing, but he just took care of business. Price was extremely reasonable, so I tipped him extra because he drove a long way for a relatively quick job. My husband and I are very DIY people but when it comes to tile we are more than happy to hand the job over to someone that know what they are doing. We had Danny come out and give us a quote on our backsplash. We received the quote a few days later and once I had found the tile I wanted to use we were on the schedule a week later. I had Danny quote the backsplash for my kitchen and gave him a timeline for when I needed it done and he seemed to be totally understanding and ready to go. Fast forward to actually getting it done and there is where the problems started. First off he brought his son to the job site without asking or warning me prior, then he didn't finish laying all the tile because his blade broke (I live less than 2 miles from home depot and he could have easily replaced it in 10 min) and said hed come back the next morning. He came back (with his son again) and laid the remaining backsplash and said hed be back later that evening to do the grout. He never showed to do the grout and was unresponsive to my texts. He finally responded the next day and we rescheduled, he showed up to grout with a friend, I am fine if help is needed but please let someone know when they are expecting one person. I went to pay him the amount we discussed and he claimed I owed him more money due to a miscommunication which I dont believe to be true. He left before cleaning the grout scum off the backsplash completely, left a 1/2" gap of pure grout at the end of a mosaic instead of cutting a small piece to fit, and didn't drill through the tile for my outlet covers to be put back on and said he would come back. I tried for 3 days to schedule a time for him to come back and he never responded. I finally told him I would not pay the balance I owed him and instead used it to hire someone else to finish the job. read more

Wow! These guys are the best! Danny drove to our home in Wimberley the same day I called (a Sunday) to provide us with an estimate to replace the laminated wood floors in our kitchen/dining/living room area. He then promptly emailed me a very detailed written quote for the job - which was very reasonable. Even though I was excited about getting new floors, I hate the chaos and disorder that typically comes with any major home project. I expected the job to take at least 4 days and I thought we'd be unable to use our kitchen, etc. I was dreading the disruption. Danny and his work partner started the project on a Monday morning. When I came home from work Monday evening, they had already removed the old flooring, installed a whole new sub floor and had the new flooring installed on more than half the space. They left promptly at 6pm, which I really appreciated. (I hate it when you want to relax and eat dinner but you don't know when the workers plan to quit for the day. ) When he told me they'd be finished the next day, I almost couldn't believe it - but they were - and the job they did was absolutely perfect. Plus my husband, who was home while they were working, commented about how polite, pleasant and professional they were. I plan to hire Floors and More again to tile our bathroom floor in the very near future. Frankly, I wish I'd met Danny when we first purchased our house.
