I think these photos speak volumes of the work done at my home and left unfinished. Blistering paint due to poor prep work; tape left on fireplace and ceiling; paint drips along fireplace; missing strike plates from two doors; did not use painter's tape in kitchen, dining and living room so the paint leaked onto grout and tile; missed painting portions of pantry door; used masking tape on door hardware leaving glue and paint behind; photos of bathroom ceiling abutting wall ceiling texturing; duct tape used to hold plastic sheeting which took off paint on door; and bed frames, ceiling fan, door knobs, smoke alarm, security alarm, vertical blinds and mattress and box spring - items not assembled and replaced before walking out on contract. Trim work was horrible as noted below. Pictures tell the story.

They came for an…read morein-person consult, and provided an itemized quote of all the work we talked about within a few days of our meeting. The pricing was fair and straightforward. They worked off a floor plan I created with an interior designer, but also provided some great design suggestions we had not thought of. They were able to demo our old 1960s kitchen, rewire electric work, move a gas line, install new windows and doors, drywall and paint a 500 sq ft space in less than three weeks. Their work is very good quality, too!!! We will definitely hire them again for any future work needed on our east Austin fixer upper.

I was invited to visit their showroom before making any solid decisions (which is almost overwhelming with all the 6372563837362666 different choices/combinations I could choose from) for our kitchen & bathroom. But don't worry , Ruben's suggestions and knowledge/expertise really show when you see the final product. Their workers/crew are beyond talented and the best part is they actually clean after themselves when on the job site! I highly recommend if you are considering a bath /kitchen remodel!

I would give zero stars if I could…read more They installed my laminate floors. To start with, communication was non-exsisent! I would have to text or email MULTIPLE times to get a response from Cristy. The finish work was awful. Within a few months, the floors started lifting and separating. When her husband came and looked at the floors, he said to me the person who installed my floors installed theirs and they had the same problem. When I asked why he was still working for them, he ignored the question and kept talking. After some back and forth, they agreed to redo the living room, hallway and laundry room. My bedroom, at the time, seemed fine. They did not redo the laundry room as promised. I had to wait several weeks for the transition pieces and then I had to contact Cristy to find out the status. They left my house FILTHY!! They didn't even bother sweeping the floors. The stuff they used to level the floors - which should have been done the first time - was all over my baseboards. It's had dried and most of it never came off. August/September 2023 my bedroom floors started lifting and separating badly - as did the living room again and laundry room got worse as it was not actually redone. I reached out again asking for a refund given all the issues. Cristy said she didn't have the money as she was now more in a consulting role. I then asked for all the floor to be replaced at no charge. She went silent again. I tired to file a complaint with the BBB but it was 2 months outside the 1 year timeframe so I couldn't. I made one last plea for her to do something to make this right. She said she would see what could be done and I never heard from her again. I finally sent one last email saying I didn't have the heart or strength to deal with this anymore. I paid $8,840.09 and my floors are awful and nothing I can do about it at this point. I have every text conversation and email ever sent/received so I can 1000% back up what I'm saying.

Great pricing and install quality....if you can deal with the delays…read more Our flooring adventure began with a bang. More precisely, a whimper. Our two dogs had absolutely destroyed our ten year old carpet, and we were long overdue for a replacement. More carpet, for maximum dog wallowing/belly rubs? Or deny them these simple pleasures and go for hardwood? As our budget would have it, neither; we ended up opting for vinyl plank. Andrea was very helpful during the selection process, sent us home with a few samples and within 20 minutes we had a winner. A few days later she came by to take measurements, collect our deposit and give us an arrival date. The date came and went. "Well, no worries" I thought, Fashion Floors was in the midst of moving their showroom, this was far from a carpet emergency (is there such a thing?) and they hadn't cashed our deposit check anyway. After a few rounds of phone tag, we settled on an install date! Typically this would be the type of project I would tackle myself (and take months to actually complete), but in this case the install included hauling off the old carpet, leveling the subfloor, as well as removal/re installation of the furniture. I figured it was money well spent. We were told our installers would be here between 9-10am. You already know where this is going. They showed up a little after noon, but to their credit, they started busting ass and had the job nearly complete in five hours. Now, it's the "nearly" part that's key here. Apparently they had either forgotten or not been given all of their supplies, so they left for an hour, came back and worked until nearly 8pm. Kudos for the tenacity and the fact that they completed it in one day, but it would've been nicer not to have to rearrange the entire day. We finally made it to their new showroom to go drop off our final payment, only to find the place dark, doors locked at 10am on a Friday. We hopped next door to TacoDeli for a leisurely brunch, came back at 11 to find the place still closed. Bizarre. This necessitated another trip the next week to get these folks paid. Pretending to be outraged on the internet seems to be the newest fad, but you'll get none of that from me. There were some minor inconveniences here and there, but at the end of the day we are very happy with the material and installation, and the new flooring really did transform our bedroom. Give Fashion Floors a holler.
