I recently needed some help with my windows, and after a few phone calls, I quickly knew that AD Windows would be the team to hire. It's a small family business, all the guys are incredibly nice, professional, courteous, respectful, and considerate. Daniel came by for a quote/estimate. I explained my problems with the windows, and he took the time to diagnose the issue and come up with a few solutions. He listened to my concerns, explained things so that I really understood what was going on, and then we came up with a plan. On the day of the actual job, the guys arrived on time. And I can't stress this enough, the guys were so respectful and considerate. They even took their shoes off (probably because I had a sign at the door), kept the area clean, and I never felt alarmed or uncomfortable, like I have with other workers in the past. It was like they were treating my home/things like it was their own, which is really nice and refreshing. And then something happened which really showed their spirit. After the job had been finished and I had already paid, Daniel was literally already outside my door, and noticed that I had some weather stripping materials on the kitchen counter (for my sliding door). He quickly checked their work schedule and decided to help me with that as well, which was a big deal, since I hadn't been able to find anyone to repair this. He called the other guys to bring some extra tools, and they were able to replace the weather stripping. So get this, they do it free of charge. They comment that they were thankful that I'd been so understanding when they had to re-schedule the first time (one of the guys was sick, it happens, no big deal). Moral of the story? If you need help with your windows, give these guys a call! I would definitely recommend them to any of my friends/family. My wife and I were planning on EVENTUALLY replacing our wooden, old single pane glass windows in our early 1900s bungalow that had been sealed closed by age and paint. A nice and professional guy, he took the broken lock off, showed me what went wrong with it. Even when it became clear they may not be able to do the work (they do retrofit and we need new construction). From the beginning, they failed to live up to their reputation!!! 1) I contacted them around 8:30am and was told that they could send someone out around 11:00am-1:00pm for an estimate. (No show, no call, nada!) 2) Around 3:30pm the same day, I decide to call back for the status of the handyman. Tomfoolery by my kids resulted in a broken window pane in the front door on a Friday night. Called A D on Saturday morning and they said they were on a big job and would try to make it over late that afternoon. Spoke with them late Saturday and they asked if they could come early Sunday morning as the Saturday job was running long. DO NOT USE THIS PERSON!!! YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!! I don't know what happened to our service in comparison to the other reviews but we went with AD window as the reviews were good and price was right. Daniel was late with traffic the first time he came out to see the broken window and it went down hill from there..... He showed up today to install the window and gouged the drywall on the window sill, bent the frame of the window so that it has a gap up towards the top of the closing,and the window gaskets are poorly done. It looks like a HACK JOB! Daniel asked my husband what "his wife would think of the damage" he had done and my hubby replied to him how would Daniel's wife like what had happened? I was comparing windows from Big box stores like Home Depot and Lowe's, while also comparing the pricing and servicing from Advertised Window replacing and installation. What my want was a new sliding door with a built in dog door that is secure and also preserves the sliding door entry and exit. I looked around for different products and still need sound dampening since I live in South San Francisco and the planes fly over head. Long story short, some places wanted me to buy aftermarket and then install, that's it, fairly straight forward all while saying that installation could increase since my sliding door was just a bit smaller than standard since SFO airport had modified existing windows and glass doors but did not change out the frame. (If you are window shopping, let them explain that one.) A D, I spoke mainly with Daniel, and he gave me lots of options at lower price points, for example, I could buy a frame and he could replace the glass to be less than half the price of what was sold at Big Box stores and custom shops, while still being 100% custom. Log story short, I ended up going with a slightly bigger size than the original sliding door, which was only a standard, and A D, did not disappoint. finished product not only looks better since we went modern style compared to the Airport metal look that was already there. He beat everyone, I mean by a lot and is very flexible with time since I would have him initially come after 9pm to check everything out due to my schedule. Highly recommend them for sliding door jobs, especcially for pet owners who hate the pet sliding doors from you place in the opening door way. When I bring out a big plate of BBQ, that old pet door got in the way, now I can't believe I went so many years with that burglary hazard in my door way. I can't say enough good things about A D Window Services. I called them last week after we'd had a break-in at our house and needed to have the broken glass on the door replaced ASAP. Alvaro came to our house that same day to board up the door since the glass needed a custom order and would take a while to be ready. We decided to pay extra for rush delivery on the glass order and it was ready within the time frame that he had given us. As soon as the glass was ready he came and installed it. He made sure that we got all the information we needed to submit a claim to our insurance company, and didn't ask for any money until the job was complete. Amazing service! I called Alvaro around 6:30PM on Friday and without hesitation he picked up the phone and helped me! My screen was messed up because of my dog and Alvaro just told me "I'll come over to check it out and if it won't require to replace everything I'll do it for free".
