Two of windows in my house had leaking problem when heavy rain was falling on them. I could see there were some thin line of cracks around the window frame and I believed those gaps were the reason for leaking. I first put duct tape to cover them, however, the leaking continued. I thought that the duct tape might not seal the cracks completely so I changed to use Gorilla tape which is very sticky plus sealant to cover all the cracks. One of the window seems stopped leaking but the other one still leaking, it seemed no matter how I tried to seal those cracks, I just couldn't stop the leaking. I gave up and called a few window experts to help. Two of them suggested to replace both windows. When Daniel came, he checked the windows and told me that both windows are still very good and no need to be replaced. One windows glass panel is foggy due to the coating issue and he suggested to replace the glass panel and redo the flashing of two windows to stop leaking. I believe that is a better solution. It took Daniel almost two days to cut off stucco around windows and replace the glass panel then came the stucco team to put stucco back to seal the windows. The stucco team did a great job. The new stucco matches both the texture and color of the old one. It took two days to finish. It was raining after the job was done, and I no longer see the leaking anymore. Great job. Also the new glass panel looks great. Thank you Daniel for good job. Also there is a ten year warranty for the project so I do not have to worry about those windows for a long time. read more

A couple years ago I decided to clean our windows by spraying them down with a hose. Big mistake. In so doing, I must have damaged a seal on our big picture window, because over time an increasing amount of condensation built up between the two panes of glass. By the time we decided to get our window replaced, the view out our window was just blurry haze of tiny droplets of water. That's great if you want to pretend you're looking at a Seurat masterpiece, but not if you're actually trying to see what's going on in the world outside. I called a couple places to get some quotes. Daniel was really quick to respond, and after providing him with a description of the problem, a picture of the window, and the dimensions, he came up with a price quote that was in line with what I expected to pay for a fix of this nature. After a few additional texts, I agreed to go with his services. He came out to confirm the measurements and placed the order for the glass. Since this was a special order, I expected to wait at least a few weeks before the window was ready, but just one week later he contacted me to let me know that the glass was ready and he could have someone out the next day. The replacement took about an hour, and now we can see out the front of our house. It's so clear that I'm a little worried that I'm going to walk right through it. I had to replace the glass on one of my living room windows when a bird inexplicably ran full speed into the window. I call around several of the window repair/replacement and did not find many that are willing to just service just one window. AD Window Services responded quickly to my inquiry and came out to look at the window and gave me a reasonable price for the repair of just the one window. They also suggested that the screen mesh should be replaced. They made me a great deal for multiple screen meshes (which were all old and damaged in multiple areas from the rose bushes growing outside the window. They proceeded with the ordering and replacement of the window glass. The service was done fairly quickly and the window looks great. In terms of the screen meshes, there was one that did not quite fit (due to the window being slightly smaller than the others). They did the professional thing and remeasured and did the reorder without additional charge. They let me keep the extra one as an spare. I called to get someone to come in and get an estimate. I was asked if I wanted a retrofit or a new construction, I didn't know what those meant so it was explained to me what the difference was and that retrofit would be the better choice. Measurements were taken and was told that we would get the estimate by email in a day or two. 3 days later still no estimate. I texted the person who came in and he said that one of the windows will be a new construction and they DO NOT do new construction. What the heck? Then why did you even ask me if I wanted retrofit or new construction? And why did you not let me know this right away? I waited and waited for the estimate, you could've sent me an email or text saying that you can't do it. Instead I had to contact you after not hearing anything. Bottom line: bad customer service. I recently needed some help with my windows, and after a few phone calls, I quickly knew that AD Windows would be the team to hire. It's a small family business, all the guys are incredibly nice, professional, courteous, respectful, and considerate. Daniel came by for a quote/estimate. I explained my problems with the windows, and he took the time to diagnose the issue and come up with a few solutions. He listened to my concerns, explained things so that I really understood what was going on, and then we came up with a plan. On the day of the actual job, the guys arrived on time. And I can't stress this enough, the guys were so respectful and considerate. They even took their shoes off (probably because I had a sign at the door), kept the area clean, and I never felt alarmed or uncomfortable, like I have with other workers in the past. It was like they were treating my home/things like it was their own, which is really nice and refreshing. And then something happened which really showed their spirit. After the job had been finished and I had already paid, Daniel was literally already outside my door, and noticed that I had some weather stripping materials on the kitchen counter (for my sliding door). He quickly checked their work schedule and decided to help me with that as well, which was a big deal, since I hadn't been able to find anyone to repair this. He called the other guys to bring some extra tools, and they were able to replace the weather stripping. So get this, they do it free of charge. They comment that they were thankful that I'd been so understanding when they had to re-schedule the first time (one of the guys was sick, it happens, no big deal). Moral of the story?
