Rarely would I say a storage facility is exceptional this one absolutely is. It's extremely clean, the staff is nice (always smiling) and heavy security. read more

Great location - facility is secure, gated, and alarmed. Everything is clean and clearly well maintained. Luis was extremely courteous and helpful with getting us set up with our new unit - he made me feel confident that we picked the right spot. Highly recommend this location! read more

So far so good. I'm renting a space for work to store all of our trade show stuff. I currently have a locker down the street but they have cut back their gate hours so I have to leave. This gate opens from 6am to 10pm! That's outstanding customer service. And the facility looks new and clean. It's a win win. read more

Their customer service is great and the facility is extremely clean!! Also, very secure.

This place is great, if I could give more stars I would. Adam was very professional and excellent customer service. I rented a unit and filled it pretty quick , came back with another truck load and he got me in right away with another unit ..very clean and well secured location for you to store your contents. I do recommend this place for any one and also very good on the prices for I called around and other location's wanted close to $500 per unit. Great on saving money her and knowing your contents are well secured in a great and clean location....thank you Adam... read more

Very clean facility! Felt very secure as well! Adam helped us get our unit and he was very friendly and happy to answer all our questions and show us around and get us all set to move our things in ! I definitely feel good about our choice and using A1 !! Thanks for everything Adam!! We appreciate you ! read more

Can't say enough about this place. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and just overall amazing!

the most amazing storage company. the staff are always so friendly and helpful. the units are clean and the common areas are always clean and tidy. I feel so much safer here than when I used to rent a unit at Public Storage. highly recommended!!! read more

The location is easily accessible, the property safe and clean. I did see police there to take a theft report at one point. The main reason I chose this facility was the extended hours access. Recently, they shortened the hours to limit access to 6pm. As a result, it no longer served my purposes so I moved out. That process was painless at least but I was very annoyed with the short notice given when they reduced the hours. The after hours was not staffed, so I fail to see why it was necessary to reduce the hours. read more

Is too bad that having such a good employees, the manager Russel is the one that sucks. He should learn about costumer service from his own people.!! Eventhough this place is always clean, i rated a 2 star because he was just very mean and didnt know how to control his attitude. Hopefully he does learn something from his own employees!! read more

I've shopped around and found A1 Storage to be one of the cheapest storage around Glendale. They're clean, have lots of cameras, and security is great. I've rented a storage from here for over a year and haven't had any issues. Kevin, the manager is very helpful and will give you a courtesy call to remind you of any leftover payments before you assess a late fee. If you get a storage on the second or third floor, the storage becomes cheaper. They have large elevators to make moving easy, so don't worry about having a storage on the first floor. Tip: If you have your own home insurance, you can waive their monthly insurance fee. read more

I recently rented my storage unit here about 2 months ago. The staff is very nice and the office hours are acceptable. The unit I got was a 10 x 10 and its nice and big for all my stuff. Price per a month is good considering the other places I shopped around. I recommend this place to anyone in the Glendale area that are looking for a storage unit 4 stars because its difficult to get in especially when you are driving a uhaul read more

Great storage facility. James was so helpful and answered all my questions. The facility is clean and safe and I recommend this place to anyone looking for storage! read more

Excellent customer service!! This was my first time renting a storage unit and surprising it was an easy process.. thanks to James and Maria! They were exceptionally professional and thorough with the entire process. Not only that, they had gone above and beyond for me on moving day. The movers and I were delayed due to unforeseen circumstances and were close to arriving after they close. I made several calls and spoke to James to let him know of the situation, and he was so kind to stay longer to help me with my paperwork. That was unbelievable! Thank you so much James!!! Initially I had reserved a unit at another rental place, a competitor, but I am very pleased with bringing my business here. I appreciate all the help, thank you James and Maria!! read more

Ashley was awesome from the get go! Took her time to explain the unit situations and pricing without a rush nor a push. I thoroughly appreciate her professionalism. She made every effort to make sure I was satisfied with my choice and that I understood my options. I truly and wholeheartedly recommend this location, more importantly talk to Ashley! read more

Adam was super helpful with everything! It's my first time using storage, and he helped guide me and answered all my questions! The got the smallest space, and surprisingly, all my junk fit inside (and I had a lotttttt of stuff). The area is clean, the storage is spacious, and the employees are kind and friendly. Definitely recommend this place! read more

I am returning now after using A-1 three years ago to empty my house for a full remodel. I was amazed at how clean this facility is. The staff was always so friendly and helpful. They just did it right from start to finish. I am glad to not have to shop around this time. read more

Back in 2016, my sister recommended A-1 Self Storage. A few months later, I decided to moved in because of their extended access hours--which is more suitable for my hectic work schedule. I've recommended others too. read more

I just got done renting from A-1 Storage today. After 6 months I have finally been able to move everything out. James sold and closed the unit with me and he is by far one of the best employees at this place. If you need storage come and ask for James. He's a great dude who genuinely cares about those renting units here. I paid $160 per month for a medium unit. It's air conditioned and access hours are all the way till 10pm. Excellent service. read more

This is a very nice, inviting, clinically clean storage outfit, with easy access and long opening hours. The staff is smiley, helpful, patient and always ready to help. I've compared other local outfits, from the well-known to the lesser known and this one got my vote and my business. The rates are favorable but the cleanliness and security seem superior. Tiny detail worth noting: on two occasion no one was in the office to hold my driver's license so I could use one of their flat dollies. And one time was mid-day on a Saturday. read more

Very professional operation. Clean & secure. Friendly staff and the access is open later than many other facilities.

This place raised my rates 3-4 times within the 2 years I rented a 10x10 module. When the time came to clear out, and we had some problems, nobody was very helpful there, although Maria was at least friendly and polite. I'm amending this review several months late because the district manager, Brian Darmas, made a fair effort to try to resolve some of the issues after the review was published on this site, and made sure I got my refund for time not used, which no one had offered us. It could have been far more satisfactory if this had happened to start with, but at least somebody at the place finally tried to do something to improve the situation and seemed sincere about it. read more

This by far is the best storage company that i have ever went to. They are so friendly and not about the money first as in all other storage companies. I dealt with Maria and James and they are awesome people. My story was there was a miscommunication on my account and they bent over backwards to help me and save me money too. I am in Florida now shooting my tv show but when i get back i will definately be looking up Maria from the A1 self storage in Glendale on San Fernando Road. If you are going to start renting a space the amount of money you can lose on this fee and that fee and all the other BS is mind blowing and what do you do since you already moved in. Don't let that happen to you my friend.... come here first PERIOD. Thanks again Maria and James for helping... you guys ROCK.... jojo q. read more

Maria was outstanding- she went over all of our options, no hard-sales tactics, and answered all questions thoroughly. Facility is clean, well-lit, easily accessible, and has great music, so you're not walking down the hallways with nothing to listen to but your own footsteps. A+ read more

Super friendly, great customer service. Good rates. Move in was super easy. Building is clean. Had a bad experience with another company just trying to reserve a unit and being pressured to move in sooner than I needed. But with A1 after booking online, I could move in the date I wanted with no pressure or hassle with the discount rate and the unit was exactly as advertised. Alot of storage buildings I've seen are in sketchy parts of town, this A1 is the edge of Glendale in a nice, calm area. Definitely comfortable leaving my things here. read more

The employee, Luis, was very helpful and informative when renting a unit during a temporary move. I appreciate the thoroughness and time he took to ensure I knew how the facility works and when I could access my things. Very Clean, well lit, & professional facility. Will be storing here indefinitely. Thanks a bunch! read more

The customer service at this location was so refreshing and reassuring. The location is perfect and the facilities are great!

I don't have a problem with their service. Everyone is pleasant at this location. But they are not honoring the 3 free box offer via yelp by mobile device. They insist on you printing the offer out and give it to them. Doesn't that miss the point of a yelp mobile offer? read more

Clean, professional, excellent customer service!! Maria & Russell were a pleasure to work with. The location is excellent and my unit was very clean, easily accessible and very safe. This is the nicest storage facility I've ever used. It's always spotlessly clean, and the staff is so friendly and helpful!

I recently moved my belongings to A1-Storage, and it's been such an unbelievably smooth experience. Maria from the front desk is also super helpful and pleasant. Plus--the place is immaculate. read more
