We have been going to this 99 for over 25 years. Unfortunately we have given up on this location now. In June we made our way down and we were immediately slammed with the most appalling sewer smell. We left immediately. Then because old habits die hard we tried again in July. We were seated in the bar and proceeded to order. The prime rib was anything but prime. The floor was dirty and it was senior's dinner time so there was no excuse for that! Hooksett and Londonderry will be our go to 99s in the future. It's sad to see the decline. read more

He came back in after a smoke break and she served him a second beer. I went to the 99 last nite for a late Mother's Day Dinner 5/16/19, Thursday... I ordered the King Size smothered steak tips. About, 6 pieces of the steak tips came out "RAW" I was left with 4 tiny flat pieces to eat. (I was REALLY SURPRISED how flat and small the pieces were...) The Mgr. took them back to the kitchen. Then, the Mgr. "Tasha" brought them out to our table. She insisted I cut them in front of her, which was fine. They were STILL "RAW"! She took them back... I said, "I'll just cook them at home. If you can just take some off the Bill." Mgr. Tasha said, "ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! I'M NOT TAKING ANYTHING OFF THE BILL! I'M SURE YOU DO THIS ALL THE TIME. I'VE WASTED ENOUGH STEAK ON YOU!!! I'M TAKING THESE PIECES BACK WITH ME. YOU'LL BE CHARGED FOR A REGULAR MEAL." I said, "How can You charge me $17 for a meal, when the 4 pieces I was Left with were small an flat?" Tasha said, "IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT SIZE THEY WERE... YOU'RE BEING CHARGED FOR A REGULAR SIZE MEAL! THEY WEREN'T "RAW" I WOULD EAT THEM!" I said, "They're not supposed to be raw and bloody. You could see the blood coming thru the steak." She said "THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE BLOODY." I said, "The pieces of steak are supposed to be bigger. And, the 4 pieces I got were flat and small. They are supposed to be bigger and they should have been weighed." Tasha said, "THEY AREN'T WEIGHED. THEY ARE JUST COUNTED. YOU CAN ASK ANYONE YOU WANT... THE SIZE DOESN'T MATTER! So we called the 99 Restaurant (Exit 7E in Route 3) in Nashua at 8:31pm tonight, June 13,2017 to let them know we had a party of 10 people, and would be arriving in about 10-15 minutes... The host who answered, confirmed there was no line or wait at the present time. So, we all leave the house and make a quick pitstop at Market Basket before heading down the road to the restaurant, arriving aproximately 15 minutes after the initial telephone call. We check in upon arrival, with no one waiting, we are told it's going to be five or six minutes to get the table ready. After 10 minutes of waiting, the restaurant manager, who happens to be standing at the host station, was asked what is taking so long to set up the table? The manager (Jason) very rudely responds with: "you didn't call until you got into the parking lot outside" and proceeds to quickly walk away. Mind you, this is now 25 minutes AFTER the initial call... It's only at that point that they begin to set up a table for our group. Of course, only after waiting several more minutes we finally get seated. It doesn't end there...in short, not all of the orders were correct, and the food really sucked, but that's irrelevant in comparison to how the restaurant manager treated us shortly after arriving. And finally, to add insult to injury, once the bill was settled, we asked to speak with Jason at the end of dinner to express dismay with how he'd handled being questioned earlier. Jason immediately proceeded to get very defensive, changed his story at least twice and then accused us of verbally assaulting him when we arrived. Staying at the hotel so I thought I would try the 99. Sat at a high top and it wasn't busy but the server was slow on my tea refills even though I told him upfront that I would drink several. Started with French onion soup and it was decent tasting but really consisted of broth, bread and a couple slices of cheese (Swiss and mozzarella) not really onions. More of a bisque that a traditional soup. The Colossal lobster too was.... Underwhelming. Tasted fine but I had one at a roadside stand for $10 that looked and tasted just like it so I would say pass on this one for $19. They do give you complimentary pop corn so I guess there's that. read more

Placed a order on the phone with a woman named Jen. I ordered smothered steak tips mashed potatoes and a Caesar salad. Jen had explain the Caesar to me and I still had ordered it. I ordered ex stuff on my salad and Jen got it all right but I didn't like that it wasn't chopped up which was explain to me. Whoever idea to have Caesar salad whole missed the mark. (Change it back) my tips were cook perfectly which was well done. Tasted great even well done. My order was packed perfect and I didn't wait long. Thank you Jen L. I have been meeting my cousin for launch once a month for the last year. I went last week and boy has the food gone downhill. I got a lobster roll, lobster was scarce and frozen with no taste. My cousin ordered a drink and 15 minutes later it still hadn't arrived. Wanted to use my app to get a free appetizer and they couldn't locate it. Needless to say we didn't get drinks or appetizer and it will be a long time if at all that I would return. read more

I ordered the baked scallop dish, which is one of my favorites at this chain. And the Sun-dried Tomato Chicken Kebab Salad. 2 Meals. How I wish they had this place in Florida. Their steak is always tender and full of flavor and their buffalo chicken fingers are the best!! I love how they are tossed in buffalo sauce to perfection and never drowned or too dry. I use to eat here at least once every couple of weeks when in lived in Mass & I never had a bad meal here. It was actually my 1st time at the Nashua location and I loved the old brick walls and overall look of the place. The customer service was great too, we had a party of 4 and everyone enjoyed their meals. They also had a ginger bread martini they're offering for the holidays which is to die for so go get you some if you're lucky enough to have the Ninety Nine in your area!! read more

Same food and drinks as every other 99. The things that are different about this one is the total lack of natural light since its in the basement of the hotel. Not that you really notice once you're inside anyways. The bar area is huge and has plenty of places to sit and I like the design which is wavy. This creates little mini sections on the bar of 2 or 3 stools which offers a little more privacy than you usually get at a bar if you're there with a couple people. The main restaurant section is all booths which are very large so there is plenty of room. read more

Went in this Friday (march 16th) because of the St Patrick days menu. We should have stayed away. The corned beef was over cooked and the potatoes were undercooked. Nothing was taken off the bill no manager came to talk to us about it. Server asked if we wanted to take our practically untouched meals home? Since we didn't need new soles on our shoes we were all set. Moral of this story is do not order from the special menu this weekend, stick to the usual items because this experience shows they can't cook a corned beef dinner. Asked about discrepancies told "oh its only mon.-fri." But you don't tell us when ordering! Nor did she mention it when checking us out! No comment made till 8 noticed the mistake! I've been here a few times and had mixed experiences. The food is consistent, but the service isn't. I've had some great servers and some terrible ones. A server can really make or break a meal for me. In my experiences thus far, it's like flipping a coin. BUT they did just get wifi that actually works, so that's a plus. read more

This used to be my fav 99 but no more. Headed down to bar and was immediately hit with sewage/urine smell. Headed into far end bar and ordered boneless buffalo wings. Asked for extra celery and was told they don't server celery anymore (carrot sticks). I said why not, it's cheap and who doesn't server celery sticks with buffalo wings/blue cheese? Last evening (Thursday) my husband and I went to the 99 bar area as we usually do we sat at the 2 seated booths which are considered bar area booths. On the table is a list of specials for Thursday. We ordered from that menu 6 Bone in chicken wings at .50 each. And 2 drinks. We were going to order dinner later. The waitress was very pleasant and took our order. About 10 minutes later she came back and told us that her manager told her that we had to order 9 wings. The menu does not state any such thing. Clearly states .50 each no minimum. We asked to speak to the manager. We explained to her that we frequent the 99 often and have never encountered this. She told us that it has always been this way and we were wrong and insisted I that we had to order 9 wings. My husband said " This is bullshit" She started talking loudly and saying she would not tolerate being sworn at. He did not swear at her. I tried to calm her down but she kept saying he swore at her. We left the restaurant and do not plan on returning. She evidently does not know how to handle these type of situations correctly. I suggest the 99 keep a closer eye on who is in management positions and whether or not they are able to handle customers in an amicable way. read more

99 is hands down our favorite restaurant, and Keane is the best of them. Great casual atmosphere, free popcorn before dinner, very reasonable prices, good drinks and very good food. We especially love their sirloin steak tips, best we've ever had. Great desserts. 99 is our first choice for our anniversary, yet it's family oriented. Service is friendly and attentive and nobody is rushed. It's often crowded on Friday and Saturday nights, but if you call ahead you won't have to wait long. read more

Fantastic employees but disappointed by the food. Many years ago much of the food was fresh and made in-kitchen but now much if the good comes in frozen. Some food is still fresh , but I have allergies and found then when I requested things , such as spinach, to be omitted from items (for example, they had egg rolls as an appetizer). Anyway, for the price you're paying , although partially reasonable, it would be nice to have it be freshly made. We had recently received a gift card from the 99 due to a previous bad experience at one (not this one) and we had decided to give the 99 another shot. I'm glad we did. We called ahead and got our names added to the list. Once we arrived it was only a short 5 minute wait for our table. Once we were seated we were promptly created by a very nice server (Audrey? Audra? Aurora? I'm sorry I'm blanking on her name but she had the section near the bathrooms Saturday night). Can't beat $4 margaritas! Our appetizer, fried asparagus, was hot and delicious. Dinner was great too. My husband got a steak and I had a burger. Both were cooked great. I'm a firm believer that the server can make or break a restaurant experience. If we have a crummy meal but great service we'll come back but if we have a good meal but terrible service then more than likely we won't return. Our server Friday night was awesome!!! The last time my boyfriend and I went here we had a horrible experience where the portions were too small, there were no mushrooms on my mushroom sirloin, and our waitress temporarily lost my credit card on the way back to bring it to us. However, we thought we'd try it again and give it another shot and I'm glad we did! Our server Genia was so nice, very attentive, very helpful, and had the most upbeat attitude. Imagine if a nursing home was run out of an abondoned factory's basement and their main export was mold, along with some earthy undertones of raw sewage. That's what this place smells like. I walked in, smelled that smell and immediately walked out. Why would I want to eat and breath at a place that smells like one of Jigsaw's torture chambers? Why do they not do something about the smell? I've walked in a few times just to see if the place still makes my eyes water over the past year and lo and behold it's like a fine a wine but instead of wine it's mold and poop. Does the staff not smell it? Does the manager not care? I feel like mold, being a serious and potentially dangerous health code issue, would require immediate attention. I decided to try the 99 in Nashua again after having questionable service a few years ago. BAD IDEA my family and I experienced the worst service in dining history in a virtually empty restaurant. I love the 99 but there is just something wrong with this location and its management. We arrived and sat for 10 minutes before our waitress came to the table to greet us as she was having a full blow conversation with the customers across the way. She took our drink order and ran away without allowing us to place our appetizer order. We watched our waitress stand at the bar window and deeply dig in her ear canal with her finger for a good 60 seconds while waiting for our drinks and proceeded to our table and served our drink We ordered our appetizer and meals. When the waitress brought silver wear to the table she left behind 3 out of 4 dirty forks and dirty napkins. the stack of plates we discovered where also extremely dirty in the middle of the stack with what appeared to be buffalo sauce and sour cream. Needless to say we left without eating a thing. If dishes, silver wear and napkins are brought to your table dirty like that what in the world is going on in the kitchen? read more

I always head to the 99 when I don't feel like driving far away from home. The food is always decent however my biggest issue is that the bar service IS ALWAYS HORRIBLE. Takes forever to get service....don't refill drinks timely. And I am not an unreasonable person, however when there are 3 bartenders and only 10-12 people at a bar, there is no reason why any drink should be empty. I also contend when you walk down the stairs that it smells like a nursing home. That could be the disenfecant that they use....however that is what it reminds me of. read more

Ate there twice and love it! Going back for dessert today :-) Food is awesome. Very flavorful and great variety! I love that they offer a great and healthy selection of sides for the kiddos to choose from. Most places give you French fries or some other greasy choice. Not here! Cole slaw comes also with most meals if not all. If you sign up online you get a free appetizer coupon, woohoo! Also plenty TV to keep kids entertained. Staff was very friendly. Only down part was that we only had 1 hour for lunch and it seemed like it took long to get our food. When we went for dinner it didn't take all that long.
