Love this place! We've eaten in before, and it's a great space, but this Tuesday was take-out. We were inspired by their 20% discount on Tuesdays (via a code on the website that you enter when ordering). We had the quinoa bowl which was both healthy and delicious as well as an old favorite, the Chicken Bayou pasta. We added chicken tenders to the quinoa bowl which were a great match. Amazing flavors. Ordering online is easy - just remember to enter that discount code if ordering on Tuesdays (I nearly forgot!). If eating in, there is a ton of parking, plus it's near a nice path you can walk after lunch (cross the footbridge). All around a good experience every time. read more

The Young Lady that was My server is an Angel She brought Me a glass of Lemon Water then after a while She brought Me A Large Glass bottle and written on it is blue drop. While we were moving, we didn't have a lot of time to do groceries and cook and we ended up getting Tavern in the Square 3 times in one week! It's a chain American restaurant but the food is overall good quality with some standout dishes. Our top favorite dishes from our recent binge were: Korean Crispy Chicken sandwich - Absolutely bursting with flavor, perfectly cooked, 10/10, as someone who NEVER orders the same things twice, we got it all three times XD Chicken dumplings - This was a special they are trying out, I hope they keep in on the menu! Super tasty Bang bang broccoli - I'll eat any veggie if you slather it in bang bang sauce and this is no exception. I got The Solstice cocktail which was good, not a top ten cocktail but solid. Prices are around $10 for starters, $15-25 for entrees. The Lowell location has lots of parking. Overall would recommend and would go back. read more

A wonderful experience all around! Our waiter, Tyler K, was extremely personable and answered all our menu questions. Modifications were easy to make, and he provided specific answers about various menu items. Overall, very kind and he refilled my soft drink when he saw it was low. The food itself was also stellar. Everything, from the mac and cheese to the side of mashed potatoes, looked and tasted amazing. It's a bit on the pricer side, but the portions are very big. We all got different items and all had leftovers at the end. The inside is cozy and clean. There's a full bar, but it never got super loud or anything. Took my relatives from Europe for a early dinner @ 4pm. The place was empty and the hostess was very curt and said you have to wait. Told her we needed a low table and chairs and no booth , she instructed her helper to take us to a booth and said this won't work and put in a cramped area when the place was wide open ;(. The food was ok nothing great. One of us got our food first and the rest of us got ours a short time later which was strange . The quality was mediocre . Only one had 2 drinks and the bill was $275 . Had a wonderful experience with service and food at Tavern in the Square. Our server, Alie, was amazing! So informative and friendly! She has a smile on her face the entire time. It creates such a positive experience. The chicken avocado sandwich was generous and tasty. The highlight was the incredible macaroni and cheese. This is perhaps one of the best macaroni and cheese dishes in the area. So rich and cheesy. The steak tips were perfectly cooked at medium rare with a generous portion of mashed potatoes and broccoli. we were so pleased with the meal. The place is large has outdoor seating and indoor seating. The food was good. Service was fine. My real issue is price who charges $16 for Nachos and then another $6 to add chicken, Jalapeños and guacamole, $22 for nachos for maybe 2 people. The Buffalo cauliflower is so bad here, I don't know why I've tried to re-get it multiple times at this point, thinking the bad one was a one-off. It's so soggy on the inside, not crispy on the outside. It sucks because Buffalo cauliflower is one of my favorite foods (see my other reviews, I don't kid) and I live near here and the Buff Caul is truly offensive. Quality spot for late night hangz! My sister and I stopped by on our way home from the airport. Our favorite location is Tyngsboro, but I'm a sucker for trying all the new places! We arrived just after midnight on Friday and she got her usual Malibu pineapple, I tried a couple of their specialty drinks- a spicy margarita and a pear/vodka drink. We also got the bbq chicken flatbread. She wasn't the biggest fan of the flatbread, but I thought it got the job done! I will say the drinks were a bit weak, but still tasty. I also didn't LOVE the service though- each time we ordered or flagged down the bartender, she just seemed, perturbed or put off. Knowing these are chains we didn't have very high expectations but they were exceeded with great food and service today. I would give the staff a 5 out of 10. Not horrible but pay more attention to coworkers than customers. You can tell they have not been well trained & that's on management not them. The few apps they have are all unhealthy & set up for multiple people versus having some for people that come in solo. I met a date here on a Saturday and it was packed. If you want a table for dinner I suggest a reservation, especially on the weekend. It was a nice place with good lighting and high end decor. The bar is in the center with tables all around. The hostess said it would be an hour wait. A lot of tables were empty so I'm guessing they were short staffed for an hour wait time. When we asked if there was room at the bar she pretty much ignored us. So we walked around and found a spot at the bar right away. The bartenders were very attentive and friendly, I'm glad we ended up there. We chit chatted over drinks and an order of chicken nachos. The nachos were yummy, though the bottom layers were dry. I wish there was more cheese & sauce for the dry chips. The guacamole was really good too. I saw a few things on the menu that I definitely want to try so I'll likely be back. Sitting outside as the rain falls down around you whilst nestled inside an "igloo" enjoying brunch with some friends makes for a fine start to your day. We sat in preheated igloo equipped with an electric heater keeping the room area warm and dry. There is a Bluetooth enabled speaker for you to listen to the music you choose as well as a button to call the server if or when needed. Three of us enjoyed our eggs Benedict and the other enjoyed their egg breakfast. The eggs Benedict was served with two eggs, one each on half a toasted muffin accompanied with peppers, potato wedges, and a side of fruit. Very tasty. We were one of the first groups seated on 11/3. It did not get busy the entire time we ere there. Mostly giving feedback on food. Coffee was just warm, not hot. Server graciously took it back and replaced with hot coffee. Breakfast sausage was hot. Potatoes were medium hot and scrambled eggs were barely warm. Toast had no butter on it, had to ask and server brought some over. Had to ask for salt and pepper. Had to ask twice for water. Chorizo was disappointing, just a small portion of scrambled meat. Apple pancakes were missing syrup, again server brought some over. The place was not busy so it wasn't that they were working under pressure. They just didn't seem to have their kitchen together. We must've lucked out because our lunch experience here...all of it...was really 'great' as the five stars indicates. There was plenty of parking and no wait. We were seated right away, not close to other diners which was nice. Our server was training another server, but he did most of the heavy lifting. I ordered the chicken tenders and they were seriously PIPING hot. They brought a couple of different dipping sauces, but the honey and stone ground mustard was my favorite. I didn't care too much for the miso honey, but I had plenty of the other. They were even kind enough to add a small portion of it to my take home box. My husband ordered the burger and said it was good. He commented as we left that this would be a close option to us as we live just up the road. I would not order the berry lemonade again though; the blueberries and cranberries in it were excellent, but why not go the extra mile and make your own lemonade? This was some kind of uber sweet mixture that was not good and didn't taste like lemonade. But the berries were delish. The trainee offered me a glass of water and that was fine. We were too full for dessert, but will return for dinner to try it out. DEFINITELY want to try the igloos...it was a super cold and windy day and I didn't think they were using them, but I'll be sure to ask next time. Honestly customer service is one of the issues . When I come in to grab take out you don't even know half of the dirty looks I'd receive like if me ordering take out is an issue . Also I order the same thing all the time I never change it due to the menu being boring honestly these people have to update there stuff , take things out and add new things. The bayjou chicken pasta is good when made correctly & the tso chicken as well is pretty good everything else needs some Work . Also when ordering take out from this place , I got my pasta made right legit only 3 times cause every other time they were either being cheap with toppings where my pasta would be DRY or they over cook the pasta because the texture would be chewy .
