What an incredible dining experience! We're traveling through the area on a road trip and stopped here for dinner, and we genuinely could not have asked for a better experience from start to finish. The food was phenomenal. We had the fish and chips, mushroom and ricotta pizza, Bavarian pretzels, and steak frites, and everything was delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful, too, but honestly, what made this experience so special was the hospitality. Our server, Sophia, was absolutely wonderful. She was so kind, attentive, personable, and had great recommendations. We had such a fun conversation with her, and she made us feel genuinely welcomed rather than like just another table. The manager, Rachel, was equally amazing. She came by to check on us and ended up spending time talking with us, and we absolutely loved getting to know her. Both Rachel and Sophia were so warm and engaging, and they made our night feel incredibly personal and memorable. We mentioned that we were visiting from out of state on a road trip, and they were kind enough to surprise us with complimentary apple cider donuts. It was such a thoughtful gesture and honestly captured the spirit of the entire experience. You can find good food at a lot of places, but exceptional hospitality is what makes you remember a restaurant. Rachel and Sophia gave us exactly that. They were the kind of people who make you leave a restaurant thinking, "We're so glad we stopped here." We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. Rachel and Sophia deserve the absolute best Yelp review they're ever going to get. If you're passing through the area, PLEASE stop here. The food, atmosphere, and especially the people made this one of our favorite stops of the entire trip! read more

Love this place! We've eaten in before, and it's a great space, but this Tuesday was take-out. We were inspired by their 20% discount on Tuesdays (via a code on the website that you enter when ordering). We had the quinoa bowl which was both healthy and delicious as well as an old favorite, the Chicken Bayou pasta. We added chicken tenders to the quinoa bowl which were a great match. Amazing flavors. Ordering online is easy - just remember to enter that discount code if ordering on Tuesdays (I nearly forgot!). If eating in, there is a ton of parking, plus it's near a nice path you can walk after lunch (cross the footbridge). All around a good experience every time. read more

While we were moving, we didn't have a lot of time to do groceries and cook and we ended up getting Tavern in the Square 3 times in one week! It's a chain American restaurant but the food is overall good quality with some standout dishes. Our top favorite dishes from our recent binge were: Korean Crispy Chicken sandwich - Absolutely bursting with flavor, perfectly cooked, 10/10, as someone who NEVER orders the same things twice, we got it all three times XD Chicken dumplings - This was a special they are trying out, I hope they keep in on the menu! Super tasty Bang bang broccoli - I'll eat any veggie if you slather it in bang bang sauce and this is no exception. I got The Solstice cocktail which was good, not a top ten cocktail but solid. Prices are around $10 for starters, $15-25 for entrees. The Lowell location has lots of parking. Overall would recommend and would go back. read more

Always good food and good beers. Good place to hang and watch a game. Never a wait, staff is friendly

First time this location. Casual weekday lunch with our Son. Three separate orders, excellent server, friendly, attentive. Each of our orders were not acceptable. Burger ordered medium well is not rare-chicken avocado sandwich-tough chicken pieces. Chopped salad was more like kitchen sink salad. Could not make sense of the baked phyllo dough layered piece on salad. Not the best experience. We'll stick with the Burlington Tavern. read more

I walked in to Tavern in the square Because I Believe FATHER GOD was showing Me to Go there. In the entry way there is a sign for the Graduates That says The hard work is done let Tsq handle the celebration. The Young Lady that was bringing Customers to their seats was Nice and Kind, I went to My table of Four right away. The place had a lot of Customers. The Young Lady that was My server is an Angel She brought Me a glass of Lemon Water then after a while She brought Me A Large Glass bottle and written on it is blue drop. I ordered the Bayou chicken pasta with jalapeños, corn, red onions and pieces of bacon. When she brought My bowl there was A lot. The amount of pasta was enough to feed A FAMILY OF Four. The chicken jalapeño was very seasoned and flavorful. The ambiance was the type of college atmosphere. I ate and FATHER GOD Showed Me THE KIND OF FAVOR THAT IS JUST A BLESSING FROM THE HIGHEST. I'm appreciative HE IS TRUE TO HIS Promises UPON My Life. CHRIST BLESS THAT Place and their Employees AMIN. read more

Had a wonderful experience with service and food at Tavern in the Square. Our server, Alie, was amazing! So informative and friendly! She has a smile on her face the entire time. It creates such a positive experience. The chicken avocado sandwich was generous and tasty. The highlight was the incredible macaroni and cheese. This is perhaps one of the best macaroni and cheese dishes in the area. So rich and cheesy. The steak tips were perfectly cooked at medium rare with a generous portion of mashed potatoes and broccoli. we were so pleased with the meal. The restaurant is modern and clean with great views of the Red Sox playing in multiple screens. read more

Great food service and atmosphere. I had the smokehouse burger. It was great! Had a few local beers they were great too.

We came for football and enjoyed a great brunch at a high top by the bar. Our server, Armani, was very nice and helpful. The restaurant was clean, lots of space, and enjoyable. Plenty of beers on tap and specialty drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Would we come back, yeah for sure. read more

A wonderful experience all around! Our waiter, Tyler K, was extremely personable and answered all our menu questions. Modifications were easy to make, and he provided specific answers about various menu items. Overall, very kind and he refilled my soft drink when he saw it was low. The food itself was also stellar. Everything, from the mac and cheese to the side of mashed potatoes, looked and tasted amazing. It's a bit on the pricer side, but the portions are very big. We all got different items and all had leftovers at the end. The inside is cozy and clean. There's a full bar, but it never got super loud or anything. They have TVs to watch the football game, so no matter what you're looking for (a hangout or a family meal), this would be a good place to come. read more

Food was good but the kitchen and the waiter messed up so 2 of us had to wait while one of us ate. Food was good though. The tv's all over the place are good for mood if I were to offer advice if I were a server, once the person delivers the food the server should be either with him or 1 minute after because I needed something with it they did not include to go on the burger so I waited 5 minutes to eat til he came around. read more

The place is large has outdoor seating and indoor seating. The food was good. Service was fine. My real issue is price who charges $16 for Nachos and then another $6 to add chicken, Jalapeños and guacamole, $22 for nachos for maybe 2 people. Also who charges $11 for kids Mac and cheese that's clearly from a box. read more

Took my relatives from Europe for a early dinner @ 4pm. The place was empty and the hostess was very curt and said you have to wait. Told her we needed a low table and chairs and no booth , she instructed her helper to take us to a booth and said this won't work and put in a cramped area when the place was wide open ;(. The food was ok nothing great. One of us got our food first and the rest of us got ours a short time later which was strange . The quality was mediocre . Only one had 2 drinks and the bill was $275 . The service was the only bright spot she was very professional attentive and sweet. I think I will pass On this place. read more

Quality spot for late night hangz! My sister and I stopped by on our way home from the airport. Our favorite location is Tyngsboro, but I'm a sucker for trying all the new places! We arrived just after midnight on Friday and she got her usual Malibu pineapple, I tried a couple of their specialty drinks- a spicy margarita and a pear/vodka drink. We also got the bbq chicken flatbread. She wasn't the biggest fan of the flatbread, but I thought it got the job done! I will say the drinks were a bit weak, but still tasty. I also didn't LOVE the service though- each time we ordered or flagged down the bartender, she just seemed, perturbed or put off. Other than that though, it was a good time and I'd def recommend it for a late night pit stop! They have a huge bar area and great vibes, lots of tvs, if you're trying to catch games. read more

The Buffalo cauliflower is so bad here, I don't know why I've tried to re-get it multiple times at this point, thinking the bad one was a one-off. It's so soggy on the inside, not crispy on the outside. It sucks because Buffalo cauliflower is one of my favorite foods (see my other reviews, I don't kid) and I live near here and the Buff Caul is truly offensive. I literally don't know how you could screw it up that bad. It's absolute soggy mush nastiness. read more

Vibe is good & parking is easy. Got an expresso martini which is listed on the menu. It was not made correctly, sent it back (never send drinks back), the second one was worse than the first one. We stopped in for lunch and sat at the bar. Both bartenders that waited on us were friendly and extremely attentive. My husbands burger came out with all of his modifications correctly, and my Mac and cheese was phenomenal! The place was very clean with lots of tables, a large bar, and oversized tvs. The bathroom was even very clean. I would recommend giving this location a visit! read more

I decided to come here last minute when I was having a bad day and I chose to sit at the bar. I would give the staff a 5 out of 10. Not horrible but pay more attention to coworkers than customers. You can tell they have not been well trained & that's on management not them. Good selection of beers on tap. Food is a 3 out of 10 & over priced for what it is. The few apps they have are all unhealthy & set up for multiple people versus having some for people that come in solo. Overall not a horrible place & not a lot else to choose from in the area but definitely way over priced on everything for what you get. read more

Not too much to say a quality hot chicken sandwich! I enjoyed every it for the most part. I do wish it was more crispy but nonetheless a quality chicken sandwich. I am a big sides guy so the sweet potatoes is what brings the rating from a 3 to a 4, delicious if I say so myself! read more

Sitting outside as the rain falls down around you whilst nestled inside an "igloo" enjoying brunch with some friends makes for a fine start to your day. We sat in preheated igloo equipped with an electric heater keeping the room area warm and dry. There is a Bluetooth enabled speaker for you to listen to the music you choose as well as a button to call the server if or when needed. Three of us enjoyed our eggs Benedict and the other enjoyed their egg breakfast. The eggs Benedict was served with two eggs, one each on half a toasted muffin accompanied with peppers, potato wedges, and a side of fruit. Very tasty. A good amount of food provided a nice value for the cost. The staff were all very friendly giving us an overall positive eating experience. read more

Stopping in for lunch on a pretty busy Sunday (brunch time), we were seated quickly, and were happy with our experience here! The food took a while to come out, but besides for that, the service was really friendly, restaurant was spacious and clean, portions were large, and everything was delicious! Ordered: - Fried Chicken Cobb Salad (asked for grilled chicken instead) - Mexican Chicken bowl (was told it was not over rice... but it actually was. Great flavor!) - Watermelon margarita- this was fantastic too! Would definitely stop again at this location in Lowell! read more

We must've lucked out because our lunch experience here...all of it...was really 'great' as the five stars indicates. There was plenty of parking and no wait. We were seated right away, not close to other diners which was nice. Our server was training another server, but he did most of the heavy lifting. I ordered the chicken tenders and they were seriously PIPING hot. They brought a couple of different dipping sauces, but the honey and stone ground mustard was my favorite. I didn't care too much for the miso honey, but I had plenty of the other. They were even kind enough to add a small portion of it to my take home box. My husband ordered the burger and said it was good. He commented as we left that this would be a close option to us as we live just up the road. I would not order the berry lemonade again though; the blueberries and cranberries in it were excellent, but why not go the extra mile and make your own lemonade? This was some kind of uber sweet mixture that was not good and didn't taste like lemonade. But the berries were delish. The trainee offered me a glass of water and that was fine. We were too full for dessert, but will return for dinner to try it out. DEFINITELY want to try the igloos...it was a super cold and windy day and I didn't think they were using them, but I'll be sure to ask next time. I like the idea of Bluetooth speaker and a way to reach the server. The wool decor on the wall was really cool. We will return! read more

I met a date here on a Saturday and it was packed. If you want a table for dinner I suggest a reservation, especially on the weekend. It was a nice place with good lighting and high end decor. The bar is in the center with tables all around. The hostess said it would be an hour wait. A lot of tables were empty so I'm guessing they were short staffed for an hour wait time. When we asked if there was room at the bar she pretty much ignored us. So we walked around and found a spot at the bar right away. The bartenders were very attentive and friendly, I'm glad we ended up there. We chit chatted over drinks and an order of chicken nachos. The nachos were yummy, though the bottom layers were dry. I wish there was more cheese & sauce for the dry chips. The guacamole was really good too. I saw a few things on the menu that I definitely want to try so I'll likely be back. All in all, this was a good experience. read more
