I've been to this place five times and the fifth will be my last. My sister came to town so the wife and I took her here from the airport. She had a three hour morning flight so she was hungry. I skipped breakfast in anticipation of KBBQ so the obvious choice was the all you can eat option! We placed our order with two meats at first and the server promptly start putting out all the sides. Usually the charcoal and meat comes out next but it was a ten minute wait before it came out. We came in at 2pm after the Saturday lunch rush so I figured maybe they had to start a chimney of coals for us. No big deal? We started snacking on the sides while everything was getting set up. Pork neck went on first and it was devoured quickly. When the pork belly went on the fire, I told the server to do chicken and ribs next. He said he got it covered. When all of the pork belly was consumed we looked around for the guy but he was long gone. Maybe he went to get the meat we ordered? Five minutes passed by and we're scraping the burnt eggs and cheese while waiting for the next helping of kbbq. I finally flagged down someone walking by and asked what's going on. Oh, the printer in the back is broken? Fine. Just get some more meat out! Fifteen minutes passed before they slapped a chicken thigh on the now dwindling fire. I looked at my phone and saw it's almost 2:55. Almost an hour passed and we're just now getting to meat #3?? I honestly had a second wind from all the waiting. So I ordered another round of pork neck and pork ribs. The wait was a bit less this time, but still not the prompt service I was used to the first four times. With the small portion of the chicken on the first go, we ordered another one to finish off the meal. It's about 3:40 now and the place is just empty. But we still waited. The server had disappeared again and when I finally got some attention they brought out the wrong meat! I politely told the server we didn't order anything spicy. She says oh, this is my second day. I don't even know what cut this is. I appreciated her honesty but was getting more annoyed with the lack of service everyone was providing. When they finally brought out the bulgogi chicken, the guy just put it on the dead fire and walked away. Why do they keep on disappearing? We finally had enough and I went up to pay the bill. The chicken was still raw and sitting over the warm fire. I looked over to the other side and see all the waitstaff and cooks eating at their own table. Oh, that's nice. This new Suwanee Korean BBQ joint just opened last week without much announcement other than a 'now open' sign on the door. Despite the lack of advertisement, it was surprisingly packed on the first Saturday night it was open. This restaurant has been opened by the same owners of 678 in Duluth (on Satellite) which has been extremely popular and busy, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. This Korean BBQ restaurant has the same exact menu as 678, same prices, and same offerings of sides, which is the say, the food is phenomenal. Bottom line, if you love 678, you'll love this place. This location is in the corner of a large shopping center, and most of the writing on the awning is in Korean. The 770 part of the name is stylized on the awning, so it's a bit hard to spot at first (look for the black and red sign). Parking is plentiful in the lot, so no worries there. This location is quite a bit farther north on 85 than 678, but it does boast a few advantages. First, it's right off the highway and very easy to get to. Second, it's brand spanking new and not as busy as 678 (think shorter wait times to delicious Noms). Third, they take reservations (huzzah!!). My only complaint is that service was quite slow. That being said, I'm super confident that as they fall into their groove (they've only been open a few days!) the service will become smoother and way better. The servers were nice and did apologize for the slow service today, explaining that they were a bit short staffed (totally understandable given the short duration they have been open). I'm certain that by the next time I come out this way, this will be a four or five star Korean BBQ joint. Good alternative to 678 if you live further north (less wait, bigger parking lot). The concept is the same as 678 as they have the same owners and use the same charcoal grill set up. I definitely recommend doing a combination B set menu if you have 4+ people (~$109). One thing I do want to point out is that it's very smoky in there. I think they need more ventilation, seriously thought I was going to have lung issues from all the inhalation of smoke. Hopefully they fix this issue very soon. read more

I've heard rumors that 770 and 678 were owned by the same owners. If that is the case, it's unfortunate that the customer service is not on the same page. While 678 service is VERY POOR, 770 excels! The moment you walk in, everyone greets you and make sure that you will be seated shortly. Once you are there, friendly servers explains the menu, their recommendations, and continuously serves you without you having to track them down. Stating so, I know that they're known for their charcoal grill and quality cuts of meats. However, for the amount I had spent for my family of 3, I should have just went to Fogao de Chao and still spent less with a full stomach. I also didn't notice that "charcoal" taste to it. Would I recommend it? Sure. Would I go again? No thank you. I feel like it's along the same line as Breakers and would rather go there. read more

Haven't been to 678 so can't really compare but service here is terrible. Came here 2 times and walked out both times frustrated with the service. They're the slowest people ever! And they don't know how to cook the meat. They never come by until they see you cooking the meat yourself (which is usually after some of the meat have already burnt). At least some of them are courteous enough to apologize... The meat quality is probably one of the best in the area and I love the corn/cheese mix and the eggs. But I highly doubt I'll go back. read more

Might be our new favorite K-BBQ spot near Atlanta! Food: The quality of their meat was good and so were their sides. Even though you only get two sauces/seasonings unlike other places, their meat is very flavorful to combat that. Sides: One of our favorite part about dining at 770 was all the sides we got to try and they make sure to give you the refills as much as you'd like. (Steamed eggs, corn cheese, veggies, kimchi, etc.) Price: 770 is for sure most costly than other K-BBQ places, but I would say the quality of their meat/food is much better. We were a party of 4 K-BBQ lovers. We got the combination S and we were pretty full when we were done with our meal. They have plenty of sides and they will either give you Kimchi fried rice or noodles at the end of your meal so if you're still hungry after eating your meat, you won't be after you get carbed up. Ambience: It's gonna have a different vibe than Iron Age or D-92. No loud K-pop or club lights and you can actually hear each other. I would say this place and Miss Gogi are probably better for families or if you want a bit more quality. Also, most of the tables are sectioned off and in their own booth. Probably the best set up especially during Covid. The only issue we had was the fact that they constantly left their front door open (I'm assuming to ventilate) and the restaurant itself was pretty cold. There was a heating lamp at our booth but we were told that we couldn't turn it on since that may blow out the fuse for the entire restaurant. Service: The service we received definitely made 770 stood out from other K-BBQ places. The staff was attentive, speedy and friendly. Multiple staff went by our table to make sure we were taken care, but especially these two younger guys were fantastic and making sure we were set up. Unlike most places, we really didn't have to grill ourselves or making sure our meat wasn't burning because they took care of everything so we could actually enjoy our meal. read more

I liked this place a lot!!! So many good Korean BBQs but this was quite good~ The cuts of meat were supreme! We had the $109 beef combo and it​ was enough for 4 adults. We didn't feel we needed to order more cause they served noodles at the end of the meal which topped it off. The service was good, the ​environment open. The place wasn't smokey and it felt modern to me. I liked how they made a kids playroom. Even if it had 1 ball, a sofa, and a tv, the kids had enough room to run around. This is my favorite KBBQ place in the area! There is good service because there is a designated server cooking your meat and everyone is happy to help out. The beef combo is always so good with brisket, steak, and marinated beef and kalbi. At the end, they also include kalgooksu - which is a noodle soup and you can choose spicy or no spice. We always get the spicy one and it's so good! The beef combo can fully feed 4 people and the side dishes and the noodle at the end will make you full. I love Korean bbq and have eaten at many places across the country. I really liked this place! One, they cook over charcoal which is so nice because many places don't now a days. And second, they cook for you so everyone at the table can enjoy their meal. There was a little bit of a language barrier with our server but he was really great. What a great experience! I have eaten KBBQ about 3 times in my life and this is my second time at this location. I took my brother out for dinner today and he was blown away by the food as well. Our hostess was Iris and she made the experience fantastic for the both of us. Iris helped us pick out the meats we had for the evening and she cooked them all to perfection. This is our 3rd time here and it has gone downhill since then but it is the only one close by to us since we live in Dacula. We ordered the pork and beef combination which is about $100. It includes brisket, beef ribs, pork belly, and pork tenderloin. They offer a wide selection of sides such as kimchi, bean sprouts, fresh veggies, salad, cheese corn, steamed eggs and pickled items. They no longer offer noodles or potatoes. Everything was so so. Not much else I can except to take the drive to Pleasant Hill for more Korean BBQ options. Since they were slower, service is a lot better! I like it when I don't have to cut my own meat. read more

Korean BBQ is something we can never turn down on a chill night especially with the temptation of having a spicy noodle soup that comes with it in addition to the grill meat. We normally agree on going to 678 whenever we feel like having Korean BBQ. However we were invited tonight to try on this newer joint, and surprisingly we all approve to have this place totally worth the buzz. Since we are all love beef, we decided on two of Combination B and we ended up ordering extra of the seasoned galbi and beef brisket. Service is also great and our server is very quick so that the are grilled in timely manner. If there is a little complain, i wish they should put double door so that the wind don't blow right away (since we were seated practically close to the front door). read more

If you like side dishes as starters while waiting for your main entree, then this restaurant gives multiple side dishes typical of Korean meals. You get samplers of vegie dishes like Kimchi, bean sprouts, anchovy/black beans, and the flower egg topped with green onions and spices. However, they have to work on getting the flies out. Fruit flies sharing with your meals is not a good sight thus my 3stars for this place. The servers are nice and accomodating and gave us another serving of miso soup upon request but ignored our request for another egg flower pot . We ordered the bento box of chicken tetiyaki and salmon teriyaki, there are more veggies than the chicken or salmon. Also ordered the bibimbab vegetables, not the hot plate. I would say, this is the best vegie bibimbap and the best among our orders. Maybe next visit, my star review rate will change. read more

This is the first and only kbbq place I've ever heard that charges extra for side dishes. You get 1 refill and then everything after that is charged, even when you order the unlimited meat. That has to the be worst and absolute dumbest policy I've ever heard. How money hungry can you be to charge extra for side dishes AT A KOREAN RESTAURANT when unlimited is already $41/person? The meat quality is the same but the service is definitely lacking. It took them forever to refill anything and that, for me, is a deal-breaker when it comes to Korean places. What a strange place....on Friday night me and my husband decided to try this place. We got here at 10pm. On the door it says open from 11am to 11 pm. We were rejected by the serve and we have been told because of cooking is very time consuming. no customer is allowed to dine in after 10pm. Give me a break! I have never heard of such thing in my entire life. If I get there 10:50 I can understand. But we were there one hour PRIOR to closing. And we were asked to leave. Couple stars for the COVID precautions and temp check, but that's about it. This place is strange. I wanted to try KBBQ, so I wander in and apparently I'm expected to already understand how the process of ordering works. A gentlemen, fairly nice, helps me to understand the menu and when I share that I don't eat pork I'm basically left with very little to choose from. I ordered some beef and shrimp. To my surprise the shrimp was grilled with the head and shell and all. I really couldn't enjoy it from the pain of having to peel it. Just a few suggestions before dining here: 1. if you would like to RSVP - you have to make it a day in advance, they do not accept RSVP day of. 2. bring a personal fan with you so you won't drench in your own sweat because it's HOT Otherwise, my palate and I were quite please with this place. I have to admit that I loved 678 until 770 came along. One, the distance to 770 is 2 minute as opposed to 20 min. I would never have to make a drive to Duluth for charcoal grilled beef. Yes, they are pricey but the quality you get is worth it. We opted out of the unlimited AYCE since it's all for all PORK lovers. Although there ain't a pork belly I don't love but this girl can only eat so much swine in one sitting. So we opted the beef + chicken + pork combination ($129.99) and that's enough to feed about 5 adults. With us that night, we had 4 adults and 2 small toddlers so we could barely finish the meat. Their rice and side dishes are obviously unlimited and that alone will get you plenty full without needing the AYCE. The meat were nice and flavorful. The only thing I didn't care for was the chicken - one of the marinate made the chicken dry (can't recall which one). I seriously think the ventilation could use a bit of an upgrade. We were drench in our sweat from the charcoal and as soon as I walked out - the smell of grilled meat followed me. Ugh... but that's pretty much at some BBQ place so just keep in mind. We had a great experience as it was pretty early in the day on a Saturday and they had just opened so the masses had yet to learn of it. Honestly, the best KBBQ I've had. I've never had someone who just cooked everything for you. It was wonderful. My mom and I got the 2 person dinner combo which came with so much food for the price.
