Their galbitang (갈비탕) lunch special is $9.99! This is on week days. We love this because it's so much meat for a low price. Things you should know: I. PARKING 770 is on the right end of a plaza and shares a free, public parking lot with the adjacent businesses. II. SERVICE Extremely timely. III. QUALITY The kimchi here is sweet and delicious. Even though the lunch special is $9.99, they don't slacken up on the contents of the stew! We'll be back! IV. CAPACITY Fair amount of available seating during lunch hours on the weekend. III.

Pretty good KBBQ up in Suwanee with good service. Met a friend there last weekend for dinner. Wasn't too busy at all around 5:30 pm on a Saturday, but got packed after we finished eating around 7 pm. We ordered beef and pork combo for two (which is $90.99), a few Terras, and soju. Lots of side dishes and they were mostly good and our server asked us if we wanted more a couple of times. Presentation wise, the meat tray looked pretty tasty. Wasn't bad, but not the best. She did a good job grilling the meat, and didn't rush us at all as we took our time eating and catching up. Maybe the best was the pork belly or the kimchi fried rice.

Top quality meats and excellent service. What more could you ask for? I showed up in the middle of a flash flood rainstorm so I was the only customer. By the time I was ready to leave the place was buzzing. It can get loud and lively when it's busy, as it should be. Debated getting the combo to try a little bit of everything or ordering two meats. My server steered me into ordering the best quality and I am glad I listened. The Seasoned Galbi and the prime beef came out and got the appropriate ooh and aah. I like medium rare so she was sure to tell me when the meat was ready. GA is different from other Korea hotspots because they aren't big on sauces. I asked for sesame oil over my salt and pepper and it as a happy camper. The meat quality is particularly noticeable when you see the marbled beef. The cheesy corn moat was especially good. Accompanied by the egg and bean sprouts in their own sections. I was offered refills and took advantage. The side dishes were especially good, with a stack of pickled daikon accompanying most bites. The charcoal is unique here. Ripping hot and beautiful to watch. I could see bringing a big group on my next visit and grabbing one of the big combos. NYC, DC, LA. I would put this experience ahead of those cities.

I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this meal. From the unique grill, delicious meats, great assortment of banchan. It was a perfect korean bbq dinner and one of my favorite places in town. The little one loves the corn cheese here and that's what tipped the scale to come here. The grill pictures allows you to put egg, corn cheese, and kimchi around the meats and conveniently eat it together. Delicious!

Still our favorite KBBQ spot in ATL! We've been here a few times now and have learned that instead of ordering the combination sets, a la carte is the way to go. Our favorite cuts are the spicy pork belly (MY FAV!), beef brisket, seasoned rib fingers, and seasoned galbi (THE BEST!). I've grown up eating California LA galbi and this was mind blowing- never had such tender cuts. Our waiter recommended the unmarinated galbi for next time, which we will definitely try.

I met up with an old friend and he recommended this place. I made a reservation - which I highly recommend. They operate on the dot - meaning that if you come earlier then your reserved time, you'll need to wait. Then they will seat you at your reservation time, the table itself will be all setup before you are seated. We opted to go with the AYCE and went with the brisket, pork belly and pork kalbi. I guess the place is known for the pork kalbi - which was delicious! All their meat were awesome - no complains from me. The waiter did all the cooking, so all you need to do is decide what kind of meat you want and enjoy. While I liked the brisket and the pork belly, the pork kalbi was the hit. We got more and at the end, make sure to save some to eat with the cold noodles. Their kimchi was the bomb as well, if I lived in the area, I would probably be going here once a week. AYCE requires min. of 2 ppl.

Best Korean in georgia, I'm Korean and took my 84 yr old mother and it was unbelievable. So many banchans and all were outstanding. We ordered the seasoned galbi, seasoned short rib and brisket. Amazing quality of meat and veggies. They also had a bean paste stew and a tofu bean paste soup, water kimchee and egg soufflé. Our waiter was Jin who was amazing. He cooked the meats to perfection, so nice and accommodating my finicky mother. Can't say enough, can't wait to bring my family.

This was my first Korean bbq restaurant and the food was actually pretty good and enough for me to be full & satisfied. It is expensive, not sure if the price is fair but I am willing to pay for it. The service- I never had any problems with the service. The times I have gone there, there was not a lot of people and the servers are really nice. They did come often to make sure if we wanted any more sides or refills. The place is a nice atmosphere. I do tend to go when there is not a lot of people which is like around 3:00 or 3:30 during a work day. Thats the best time to go if you don't like crowded places from my experience.

Cold Noodle
Ashley K.

This is solely based on the lunch menu and service I experienced here. FOOD: Cold Noodle (Mul Naengmyun) - The overall impression I got was that it was pretty sweet which I personally don't like for naengmyun. Noodles were average. I believe they freeze the broth itself which didn't water down the broth and change the taste. SERVICE: Not the best experience with service. We rang the bell at the table to call the servers but there were several times when no one came by. The manager came by after a while to tell us to press the button to call them if we needed anything since they were all busy with a large party. I didn't know what to say since we had already been using the call button lol. The food didn't come out after 20 min. which was a bit frustrating since I came for a quick lunch in between work. The manager came by after the food eventually came out to explain to us that the server was new and apologized. Lunch was a bit disappointing, but would like to try again for dinner service.

My parents and my husband decided to travel to ATL over Spring Break to see if they wanted to move here from the Windy City, and so we had to check out the local eats. Although this place isn't highly reviewed on Yelp, apparently the local Koreans debate on whether this place or 9292 BBQ are the better of the two best KBBQ joints in the ATL area. To say the least, this was our second time visiting 770 BBQ on our four-night stay in Georgia. The first time around we ordered the Beef Combo for four folks and a few bottles of soju and beer. The total came out to be around $200 plus tip. It was a solid meal, especially since the server does most of the meat grilling for you, and we felt like our needs were quickly met when we ran out of side dishes. My favorite dishes were probably the mayo-tossed glass noodles and the steamed eggs! Out of the meets, the marinated galbi was probably the best cut followed by the beef brisket. During our second visit we decided to get the pork and beef combo for four, and I'm really glad we did as I'm a sucker for some good sangyupsaal. This time around we had not made a reservation but we're promptly seated within ten minutes. For some reason, the service was even better than last time. I think it was because we were seated in a high traffic zone where several servers would go back and forth from our table. The kalguksoo was a great way to end the night! We ordered the non spicy version to smooth our stomachs after the feast.

So glad I didn't see the rating before trying this little gem of a KBBQ place! One of the rare places that grill meat over charcoal. Meet was very good quality, not too fatty. We had the combo for 2 and it was plenty of food for my son, my mom and me. Our waiter was great trying to maximize the flavor of the charcoal. And banchan was yummy. Overall great experience and we will be back!

My table of 4 did the combo for 4 and we ate it all - normally I think there may have been enough for some leftovers, but the 4 of us were starving. The server did a great job of cooking the meats! She let us know when the beef pieces were around medium rare. The marinated short rib was hands down my favorite cut of meat, it always is. The cheese corn was also amazing - looots of cheese was melted all over. All the meats were fantastic! We all left super satisfied. I love that they have the long vents that suck up the smoke, especially since these were charcoal grills. We left and I felt like I didn't reek of meats. Despite being fairly busy, the service was attentive and prompt. Everytime we requested more banchan, it came out fairly quickly even though we were replacing like 6-8 items at a time. Definitely recommend for a la carte KBBQ!

It had just the right kind of flavor to enjoy with some soju, and the portion was big enough that we couldn't finish it all. We also tried the pork ribs that they're known for, and they were really delicious. We added the Suwon galbi (beef) too, and that was also very good. The corn cheese and the cheesy steamed egg were great side dishes as well. The staff was friendly and you could tell they were making an effort to take good care of the customers. One thing I really appreciated was that a bottle of soju was accidentally left off our bill. I pointed it out and asked them to add it. Good food, good portions, and fair service. They have by plates or by pound. We did a mix of both to get a taste of the spread. We had the quarter pound ribs, 1/3 lb. Of pulled pork sandwich and a third lb of brisket which they also have fatty versus lean meat. Spicy and non-spicy sauce. Pickles on the side. Size also included baked beans, mac and cheese, potato salad. Starting off with briskets. Cook just right but would ask for the fatty piece next time as I was not able to try it. Lean meat was cooked just right. Otherwise. Really like the spicy sauce dipping for anything. Really like the spare ribs cooked to perfection with very tender meat with just the right amount of seasoning on top for that. Outer layer. Also appears well with the spicy barbecue sauce but it's fine on its own as well. Also had a few bites of the pulled pork sandwich, still nicely done with a soft bun, but you should probably eat this before you eat the ribs. In terms of the sides, mac and cheese and baked beans were both delicious. Potato salad was above average but I would like a A slightly more tangy sour taste. Otherwise still acceptable. Mac and cheese for sure you should get. Even the pickles on the side were not your typical American pickle style, which I prefer this type of marinade that is not that sour. As we were finishing, we had the option to taste two slices of their beef bacon which was probably the best bacon I have ever had as it does not even taste like bacon. Great caramelization with the brown sugar and not as fat as typical bacon slice. Excited to see how this is developed into the menu with other dishes as well. Highly recommend coming here as there is also no line / long wait time when we came.

The thinly sliced beef and pork are stocked in freezer cases, so instead of waiting for a server, you simply grab what you want whenever you want it. They kept the freezer well stocked during our visit, and I actually preferred this setup because it made the meal move much faster. Next to the meat station is a condiment cart with sesame oil, salt, pepper, napkins, and water. Another smart idea since these are the items I usually end up asking the server for throughout the meal. We were expecting to eat AYCE, but apparently there is a cut off time for AYCE, and we weren't able to order AYCE which was disappointing. I believe we came right before 8PM, and they closed at 10PM so I was surprised when we were told AYCE wasn't available. But no big deal, we chose to stay and dine anyways, and we're glad we did! We mostly ordered the marinated galbi which was a favorite among most of us. I'll be honest, I'm not sure what other meats we ordered because we basically asked the server which meats were the popular ones and asked for those. I do know one of our meats was beef brisket, which is usually one of our favorites, but I wasn't impressed with their brisket. But that might just be because their other meats were so good that they overshadowed the brisket. We could definitely tell that the meat is higher quality here, and they marinate well that you really don't even need to dip them in any sauce. In addition, they offer plenty of banchan and are great about refilling it as you empty even without being asked. I love the cheese corn, egg, and bean sprouts around the grill. I'm not sure if this is always the case or if we had a really great server, but we didn't have to worry about cooking, flipping, or cutting the meat at all. Our server took care of everything our entire dinner. He was very attentive and kept offering us other dishes to try. At the end of our dinner, he even packed up the bones from our meat to go for us because we jokingly asked for it not actually expecting that we'd be allowed to take it.

Some of the meats we ordered: - Beef Brisket - Beef Bulgogi - Spicy Beef Bulgogi - Pork Belly - Spicy Pork Belly I enjoyed the beef brisket and pork belly the most. Banchan offered are japchae, corn cheese, kimchi, sesame broccoli, pickled radishes, egg soufflé and rice. Japchae, sesame broccoli and egg soufflé was tasty. I wasn't a fan of the corn cheese as it came out in these little aluminum cups with cheese on top and it's left on the grill until the cheese melts. The service is good. You cook the meat yourselves here, but our server came around to take our orders and change the grills pretty often. 985 also offers a ramen bar for an additional cost at the center of the restaurant. They have a ton of ramen options for you to choose from and various toppings to add a la carte. Overall, it's a decent AYCE KBBQ at a good value. Nowadays, $25 AYCE KBBQ spots are rare and for that price point, I'd consider this a 3.5 rounded up to 4 star.
