I wish I could give 0 stars. I paid over $200 for my first order and over $50 for my drink order (second). The tall black lady with dreads/braids was extremely rude and tried to cheat us by adding water to the kool aid they sell. She became upset when it was stated we watched her put water in the 1/2 gallon since they ran out. The strawberry up charge is terrible for the small amount they put on the side.It wasn't until we told her our initial order was over $200 before her attitude changed. So disappointed in the place, They must be rich and don't need customers. Save your money and don't go here. I am obsessed with their food! Absolutely love everything on the menu. I've ordered catered food as well and it's reasonably priced. I think they need a better catering contact person, as with my last order there was confusion about payment, pick up time, etc even though I called in and followed instructions from online. Outside of that, the food is always fresh, hot, tasty. They have their own parking and inside seating as well. The ambiance is clean with good music, you can order in a self ordering machine or with a cashier. They have some great drink offerings and desserts too. Hands down one of the best experiences I have had. I brought my staff in for a meal after a long day serving food and demoing product at Eggtoberfest. Sharlene treated us like family and we trusted her to just bring us "what you do best." I'm not sure what was best because it was all amazing. Every modification I requested was executed perfectly! That is one of the reasons I gave 5 stars. My husband chose the oxtail with green beans and turnips. The oxtail were not bad but not great. They have a smoked flavor which is not traditional Jamaican style. I chose the 6-chicken tender meal with turnips and mac 'n cheese. I also ordered the okra (crispy) and potato salad. The okra was crispy as ordered. I also requested that the juice from the turnips be drained so there would be no leaky bags. They did that as well!! All of the side items were tasty with the exception of the potato salad. It was too loose and not as flavorful as I expected. It seemed to be missing something. Overall the food was delicious. Absolutely HORRIBLE experience! Ordered through UberEats as I wanted BBQ/soul food and there were decent reviews. Perhaps it was because they were getting ready to close or what but the food was absolutely awful! Ari ordered rib tips and they were completely burnt and not edible whatsoever... They were very tough and you couldn't even be eaten! I ordered their cluck mac & cheese, and paid extra for it, only to find out they didn't have it... And didn't even refund my money as the girl said she would! She substituted potato salad... And I've never tasted potato salad that looked and tasted like soup! Like no kidding it was super runny and just awful! The cornbread was also burnt and dry...totally not edible either!!! The one bright spot was the greens. They were good and flavorful! Lastly, I also purchased a fried bologna sandwich, it was literally $13!!!! What I received for $13, was an extremely soggy bun that literally fell apart and a slice of bologna... Nothing else! So this burnt rib tip meal, with no Mac and this soggy sandwich cost $45! Never again... Absolutely never again! This was a complete disappointment and I feel like I just gave away a ton of money... First time visiting this establishment on the corner of a gas station strip plaza. Entering you will see a clean, new, bright and colorful environment. The staff is friendly - both the cashier and eventually the cook from the back. This was clearly the mark of a small business who try to connect with their customers. The chicken and waffles were delicious, including the barbecue sauce. The chicken sandwich was also a solid choice. The only downside was the long lunch hour wait...not sure if that was due to the popularity and high takeout during the lunch hour or if maybe understaffed at the moment. The food was still hot and delicious upon arrival, so ordering ahead may need to be considered if you are pressed for time. Rib tips very tasty, beans nice and spicy, corn ( whole ear) freshly cooked and hot, and the peach cobbler scrumptious. I went in for the first time for some chicken and waffles and saw that they had a BBQ menu. I asked the girl behind the counter for a recommendation and she suggested the ribs. So, I ordered a half-slab of ribs, turnip greens, and candied yams. I was not disappointed. This is among the best ribs I've had in Georgia. Wanted some Southern Food while in the area and, based on reviews and menu, picked Suthern Cluck. We were the only people dining in, so I hoped it wasn't the wrong choice. The room is sparse with bright colored tables and chairs, and you order at a counter and they bring you your food, so no white linen here. My wife asked the lady at the counter what she likes and she suggested the fried turkey wings, which were amazing. I got the sampler plate so I could try a bit of everything. Everything was great but the highlights were the ribs and brisket, done perfectly. The sides were good and I was pleasantly surprised to see turnip greens instead of the collards I was expecting. Suthern Click is a fast casual soul food spot in Buford and sorely needed. The decor is comfy with metal tables and chairs. The dining area was clean and very cheerfully bright. We were offered a sample of the turnip greens. The yelper who stated it tastes better than collard greens did not lie!! It's highly seasoned and so flavorful! I definitely drank the drippings (pot liquor) as well. I could tell the turnips were probably made on a base of a mirepoix bc you can see the veggie base it was stewed in, but it also has a "kiss" of heat as well--no not spicy--heat in the foreground playing with your mind. Let's just say that you will not miss your collards :) I came for the chicken and waffles and they didn't disappoint. The waffles were fluffy inside and slightly crunchy (not hard) outside. Waffles contained some strawberries and powdered sugar. My order came with 3 chicken legs which were clean and well seasoned. My guest ordered the fish with string beans and fries (you get 2 sides). Fish was fried crispy and a good sized portion. They liked the fish -- I believe it's Swai. I ordered a to go chicken sandwich w/(seasoned) crinkle fries and a side of mac and cheese. The sandwich was well seasoned and very flavorful. I detected a hint smoke in the mac and cheese as well as multiple cheeses (?) and the right amount of cheese and cream/milk. Also, and it was made with my absolute fav noodle: cavatappi. This is mac done right! The young lady taking our order was very helpful and checked in on us as we waited for food -- which was being made to order. The owner/chef also checked in on us as well. Nice touch! I will be back for the smoke wings--definitely needed a soul food spot on that side of town. The 99% health score seals the deal. Great job bringing real, affordable soul food to Buford.
