Great cheap sandwiches, but long lines during lunch. I do wish the bread could be more fresh because they prep the sandwiches and put them in the fridge. Then add toppings to order, such as lettuce tomato etc.

I stop here somewhat regularly because it's not far from where I live. In the summer, I'll grab a Slurpee or some ice. The rest of the year I'll just get a soda or an occasional lottery ticket or whatever it is I need. It is quick and easy. You can earn points to redeem on items and there are always deals in the app. You can also earn discounts on gas at the locations with gas stations. It's always busy and the parking lot is a little crazy. There's been a lot of staff turnover in the past few years, but everyone's still always friendly and efficient. read more

One of the best 7-eleven's I've ever seen! I wanted to give this 5 star review because their coffee machine actually works here, and at other locations it seems that the coffee dispenser machines mostly are malfunctioning and not making my favorite drinks correctly with the proper proportions. I love getting the Dirty chai from the coffee dispenser machine, yet when it doesn't work like most location it will spew out hot milk and water! Thank for going beyond and actually providing a machine that works and maintaining it! read more

My boyfriend and I are always out on late night drives and happened to end up in Encinitas last night around midnight. I was hungry and wanted to get some snacks so I looked on yelp and was very intrigued at such a high rating for a convenience store. I am a self proclaimed snack queen and frequent many 7-Elevens for my late night munchies. I was expecting a well stocked, clean store but I was blown away when I stepped in. Not only was this store well stocked, organized and clean; this 7-Eleven has a full deli counter with an array of sandwiches to fully customize. I selected a turkey and cheese croissant which I was asked if I wanted hot or cold. I chose cold and was able to load it with any toppings of my choice. Not only that, but we were told they just finished freshly baking cookies. Remember it is midnight; what kind of 7-Eleven is baking cookies at midnight?! This one!!!! I wasn't in the mood for sweets, so I passed but wow, a testament to the standards of this store. As my boyfriend and I wandered through the isles we found all of our regular favorites plus local brands and niche snacks. Along the back wall was the regular soda and slushie machines, but also draft coffee and tea which I have not seen very often in a 7-Eleven. They have a large drink selection and while we did not buy any alcohol they had a huge selection of domestic and local beers. The cashier was so nice and took time to ask us if we needed anything and went above and beyond in customer service, I felt like I was being welcomed at someone's home. My sandwich was phenomenal as it definitely was made with love and care. Unfortunately we are not local and will have to make the drive from Orange County next time we need our fix but we will be back no doubt. This is by far the most odd 7-Eleven I have ever been. It is the first time I have ever walked in and been confronted with a full on deli display of sandwiches! I mean this in the fullest sense of the word. I know that every 7-Eleven has sammys sure, however this is a legit large display of all sorts of bread hugged goodness! It is a large store, and they have all the other things you would expect. I knocked a star off because when I bought some water (a flat of water from outside) there was some goop on it. I don't know what kinda goop it was, but even upon trying to wipe it off it hung on defiantly. I told the clerk I was going to switch it out and he said "Seriously?!?" "Uhhh, yeah I don't want to buy some water that has goop all over it." "B-But you are just going to take the plastic off!" "Yeah, but I am not going to buy water with goop on it." I understand his point. But what he doesn't understand is that I would have to carry said goopy flat of water in my work suit by hand out to my car. The same car that could also be soon covered in said weird goop. Then when I delivered the waters to where they would be going this same goop (remember it is now on my hands, on my suit, and on the seats of my car) would be brought into another environment where mayhaps I was throwing a business lunch? Now what would they think if I (now smeared in goop) showed up with goopy waters to serve? Do you think telling them, "Well just take the plastic off!" would fly? Nope. He couldn't have known all that. I am sure to him I was just being a finicky drama queen who wouldn't take a little goop all over her things in the name of being amiable. It reminds me to always look at all the different sides I can in people and their motivations, and that I am glad that I can stand firm on my choices on what I spend my hard earned money on. Minus a star. I will be back, but I will check the water! ;) read more

Cashier here refuses to wear a mask. He'll hang it off his ear, but when I suggested he wear it given the nature of his role (constant contact), he barked some political nonsense not based in fact. I wish they had even a semblance of concern for the community that finances this local business. read more

This 7-11 is the one I've been going to my whole life. I've seen a lot of people work here and most are decent at their simple job and are nice to the customers. There's an occassional sour puss working, but seems they have been weeded out recently. They sell Stone Beer in 3 kinda IPA, Ruination, and Pale Ale... Major Plus Points! Great chip selections, the wine shelf is decent enough for my girlfriend and the parking isn't a problem. The migrants love this place too, they hang out by the dumpsters to the west of the shop. So hey, if you're looking to hire some help for the day, get some coffee and donuts... you can do this all in this one location! read more

Its a 7-Eleven so its getting 5 stars based on a comparisons to other 7-Elevens. 7-Eleven is simple and straight forward so if its clean, fully stocked and the staff is good, it gets 5 stars and this particular one hit on all points. I found what I wanted to get, along with a new Arizona tea flavor which its always good to find new flavors of your favorite drinks. The store was clean from what I could tell and the cashier was nice, or as nice as I would expect from someone at 10:30 pm who is probably working all night. read more

Once again the clerk Frank was absolutely rude we drive from El Cajon to get the deli sandwiches and the clerk frank said the deli is close I cant make u any sandwiches and I have took much stuff to do and I informed him that the store said that it was ok and that we can come anytime to gets sandwiches made and once again he was rude he said that good for him that the store manager said that but I'm not making you and sandwiches then he said that we watched the camera the last time and that we lie about home being rude and he also stated I though you said that you were not coming back him anymore I though the store manager had fixed this issue but I guess not once again we wasted out time and gas coming all the way there to get sandwiches because when the other clerks are there they make the sandwiches and they are very friendly and helpful but when Frank is work he is very rude and unhelpful it blows my mind how someone could have suck bad customer service and still have a job and from my understanding it seem as though the store manager took his side with being rude and we are the paying customers I couldn't believe it when running a business I never treat my customers the way we were treated read more

This 7-11 never fails me. Parking is easy: I swoop in and out. It's also one of the bigger 7-11s I've seen; they just carry more - nothing different. Sandwiches are "okay" at best. The staff obviously wants to be spending their time elsewhere. LOL read more

The most wonderful, beautiful and friendly people working there! Candy and her staff keep the store very clean, happy, organized and well stocked with all my favorite snacks and drinks. I really like the 7-11 brand of chips, candy and etc. because the price is good and the quality for the price is a great deal. Always a joy seeing and saying good morning to everyone that works there and the awesome local customers that pass through too. It's nice to start out the day with a fresh delicious cup of coffee and hearing Good Morning from my new found friends that work and shop there! read more

I have been going to this 7-eleven for many years and in my opinion it is one of the largest and cleanest stores. They have a great deli for fresh made sandwiches, not those pre-made ones, they have those too if you just want to grab and run. They have a great selection of beer and wine. I went in there a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't believe that they now have El Napalito chips and Salsa, Wow, no other 7-eleven carries that and those are my favorites. The employee's are friendly and helpful. They take credit cards and debit cards except for the lotto and scratchers on my credit card, they did let me get them on my debit card though. read more

My wife and I have been going to this 7-Eelven store for years. It's our local "corner-store". The entire staff is friendly and, under the watchful eye of Larry, the manager, the store is spotless. That said, most 7-11's are very clean. What makes this particular store so special are the folks that work there- from Larry, Bob, Jessica, Christina, Todd (at night- he's always good for a chat). All they need is a corner "pot-bellied stove" and you would complete that old fashion feel that this is your store. All-in-all, a great, friendly environment. read more

Cherry mochas are hard to come by, and I haven't really encountered another one. This one was delicious! The espresso was bold, the milk perfectly creamy, and the overall taste not too sweet (unlike Starbucks'). Wow!! I can already tell this will be a drink I daydream about. Unfortunately it was $7.50, which will prevent me from indulging very regularly. The rest of the menu is pricey too, with avocado toasts nearly reaching $20. (I may be a millennial, but I can certainly understand the negative stereotype when I see coffee shop prices like these.) Besides pricing, the other downside of this place is the limited seating. There were only 4 small outdoor tables, so unless you're with just one other person and you arrive before 10am, I'd suggest grabbing your coffee to go and taking a walk. My friend and I sat down, since there were open tables when we arrived. She enjoyed her iced honey cinnamon latte. If you love a cherry mocha or are looking for coffee in the design district, definitely come through!

It was not busy at all so I was trying to ask the girls working by the machines (where the beans are) about some of the different beans. The staff was incredibly friendly, though, and we were seated as soon as they could. It did take about 15 minutes before a server was able to come over and take our order, but the restaurant was completely packed, so it's something to keep in mind if you're in a hurry. After spending the day at the beach, we were really just in the mood for drinks. I ordered the Blood Orange Margarita, which can be served with Tajín, sea salt, or no rim at all. It was really good and definitely on the stronger side, which I appreciated. My only complaint was that there was a bit too much ice, but the flavor itself was great. The atmosphere is what really makes this place stand out. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, large open windows that let in plenty of fresh air, and a fun, lively vibe that makes it a great place to relax after a beach day. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the ambiance and cocktails, just be prepared for a little wait if you visit during peak hours.

That's one of the things I love about the San Diego area--it just has a peaceful, laid-back atmosphere. The food was really good. I also tried the lychee beer which was super delicious and did not taste beer-like or alcoholic at all. It was more like a sweet treat to enjoy. This restaurant is tucked away. I remember walking in a little later on a weekday with a friend and the restaurant was completely empty except 3 other people. I hope they get more business (if they haven't already) because their food is great and it was easy to find parking I am looking forward to coming here again and trying new dishes. This is the best 7-11 in the world hands down. I work right around the corner so I am always in here and the whole staff is extremely extremely cool. They greet you like an old friend, I'm not exaggerating, I love these people! Also they have Reeds Ginger Brew which I haven't seen at any other sevvys before.
