    Piece of metal
    Walter C.

I had a piece of some kind of metal on my food. Not sure if it came with the broccoli from the food area or on the brisket..., However not safe at all since I found it out already inside my mouth.

I get the green detox. Healthy, organic and really yummy! Best value is the large for 13.99. It is a short wait and well worth it. Thx!

I love shopping at Lazy Acres--especially this time of year! The store is always clean, beautifully stocked, and full of fresh, high-quality options. The meat counter, in particular, is phenomenal. Everyone there is incredibly conscientious, always making sure your selections are fresh, well-trimmed, and perfectly packaged. Today, Jayson went the extra mile by preparing my chicken just the way I needed it--ready for chicken francese! That kind of attention to detail and customer care is exactly why I keep coming back. Thanks, Jayson, and thanks to the whole Lazy Acres team for making every visit such a great experience!

I love this market. They carry raw milk which is not easy to find, fruits and vegetables without roundup and organic crème fraiche. This is definitely my favorite market in San Diego in the best area with a wonderful vibe. The butcher is extremely helpful as well.

Ok... I gotta say their cookies are YUMMY!!! Nice, chunky and tasty!!! My kids were visiting and I think we went thru 3 boxes of cookies! Lol Definitely a nice treat! My favorite was the peanut butter but the chocolate ones were good too !!!

After my family and I grabbed breakfast at Prager Bros and walked around the charming town of Encinitas, we decided to introduce our daughter to the best cookies in San Diego. It is me and my wife's humble opinion that Lazy Acres' cookies are better than the gourmet cookie shops you find all around San Diego. This review is solely about the cookies found in the bakery section. So glad my wifey's boss recommended that we try Lazy Acres' cookies because we believe they're the best cookies in the city. Lazy Acres is a two-store supermarket chain in San Diego, but I believe there are other locations in California. The location we visited today was in Encinitas, but we first experienced their cookies at their other location in Mission Hills. This supermarket chain is in the vein of Whole Foods, so it focuses on organic, natural, and healthy food. The Encinitas store can be found in the Moonlight Marketplace shopping center, which is just off the 5 freeway and just down the road from South Coast Highway 101. The shopping center contains Wendy's, Serrano's Mexican Food, Jersey Mike's Subs, and Mr. Peabody's Bar & Grill. There is plenty of parking in this shopping center. At this Lazy Acres, the bakery is located towards the left back of the store from the entrance. I don't remember seeing any seats to sit down and enjoy your cookies. The employee I interacted with at the bakery was friendly and kind. I'm sure many people have purchased gourmet cookies at such places as Crumbl, Cookie Plug, The Cravory, Batch & Box, and Sprinkles. At these cookie shops, you're going to pay a premium price. For my wife and I, we believe you'll get the same type of cookie, more bang for your buck, and a yummier cookie at Lazy Acres than these high end cookie shops. We first experienced these standout cookies at the Mission Hills location. I was pleasantly surprised to find at the Encinitas location a cookie that wasn't at the Mission Hills location. There were three types of cookies we ordered. What I really love about the cookies at Lazy Acres is their value for your money. They have a special where you buy 6 cookies and get one free for $22.50. Each cookie costs $3.75. We ordered The Cookie, The Milk Chocolate Cookie, and to my surprise, The Peanut Butter Cookie. The Cookie, which is the original favorite, is packed with pure Belgian chocolate, toasted walnuts, and sprinkled with sea salt. The Milk Chocolate Cookie is self explanatory. The Peanut Butter Cookie is their newest creation, packed with melt in your mouth dollops of peanut butter. I'm a peanut butter fan and that seriously is the best tasting peanut butter cookie I've ever eaten. All of the cookies are substantial, made with quality ingredients, they're packed with flavor, and you feel like you're eating a premium cookie, but not at a premium price. I recommend that you microwave the cookies for 10 seconds to warm them up and make sure to eat them with a tall glass of milk. I waited until I visited Lazy Acres a second time to write my Yelp review about what we consider are THE BEST COOKIES in San Diego. Trust me when I say it's worth the trip to any of the two Lazy Acres in San Diego to experience yummy cookies that you don't have to pay a premium price.

Another good place to go for healthy foods. Their pricing in produce wasn't horrible The people were nice and it was very clean and organized I appreciate the selection of different brands on top of a healthy alternative as well. I'll be back here to stock up on premade bone broth

$8 price went to $15 within months. Price gouging their customers.
    Mark B.

I agree with Pat S. and other reviewers here, about the tuna salad. Customers have been paying double ($15 instead of $8, see photo) for several months now, for a small container. Something smells fishy in Denmark.... In mid November the store manager promised me she'll fix the issue. But I checked in late November and in December, and the tuna salad still has added water--and is still double the price. Seems the added water (to jack up the price) is intentional. This is called price gouging. Location .............................. 5 stars Parking ............................... 2 stars Hours .................................. 5 stars Organic Item Selection ..... 1 star Fair Pricing (no gouging) ... 1 star Grocery Selection ............. 4 stars Grocery Prices .................. 1 star Poke Bar Selection ........... 4 stars Poke Bar Prices ................ 0 stars Juice Bar Selection ............ 1 star Juice Bar Prices ................. 1 star Deli Selection .................... 3 stars Deli Prices .......................... 0 stars Employee Friendliness .... 5 stars Employee health/organic/vegan knowledge .... 2 stars ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ TOTAL ............................ 1.44 STARS TOTAL .

Unfortunately, it is consistently a very slow experience, even when there are only a few customers ahead of us. Despite having a very large pizza oven capable of cooking multiple pizzas at once, pizzas are routinely cooked one at a time, which often results in 30+ minute wait times. Today's experience was especially disappointing. The store had run out of pizza boxes, so our pizza was placed into a cake box that was too small to fit it properly. The employee cut the pizza and stacked half the slices on top of the other half, causing the pizza to become messy and smashed together. She handled the slices directly with her hands instead of using a spatula, and several pepperoni pieces fell off in the process. In addition, the employee placed two different stickers on the box -- one appearing to indicate a single pizza and another appearing to indicate two pizzas -- which could have easily resulted in us being charged incorrectly. When I politely asked whether we could receive a discount because of the condition of the pizza and the inconvenience, I was initially told very rudely that there would be no discount and that the register would not help either. I was then asked, with obvious attitude, whether I wanted the pizza remade, which would "take another 10 minutes." I simply asked for the missing pepperoni pieces to be placed back on the pizza. The manager ultimately did provide a 50% discount, which we appreciated. However, even the manager acknowledged the pizza had been handled improperly and wanted to take a picture because she was surprised by how it had been packaged. Despite that, the response still felt dismissive, including being told the discount would only be done "this one time," as though the issue had not clearly been caused by the store's handling of the order. We understand mistakes happen, including running out of boxes, but customer service, food handling, and basic professionalism still matter -- especially for repeat customers who spend a significant amount there regularly.

I was introduced to this product by my mom several years ago. (She gave me my first bottle.) My usage has become more consistent over the past year or so. Although it actually has a range of other good-to-your-body ingredients, the primary reason I use it is because I know I don't regularly eat enough green vegetables. So I supplement by adding a heaping tablespoon of Vitamineral Green to the smoothies I drink before my morning workout. I'm not sure why but when I first used this product (several years ago) it seemed to produce headaches. I stopped taking it after a week or so but used it sporadically for a few years. When my (now-deceased) husband got sick, I knew I needed to take better care of myself and I began to take a harder look at this product. And while I conducted no scientific tests to prove this, my thought is that the headaches I experienced in the past were likely due to several factors: I wasn't drinking enough water (barely one glass a day!), I wasn't getting enough rest/sleep, and my daily eating and drinking habits needed an intervention. Fast forward to now and a day without my Vitamineral Green is a day my body knows something is missing. Along with drinking more water, getting more sleep, and exercising, I feel like this product has helped improve my general overall health in the past year. I recommend checking out their website, calling with any questions, reading online reviews before making a decision about purchasing any of their products. They have excellent customer service!

Additionally, their sushi, smoothie bar and pre-made foods are top notch - they are MILES ahead of any of the "big" grocery stores. So the question is - if they are so great, why do they only have 4 stars on Yelp? One major reason is that they stretch their products. If you don't check the expiration date on every product you purchase, you will end up buying something months after it expired. I purchased a Brie-en-croute on sale for Super Bowl. I was so excited to try it. When I opened the box, the product had mold all over it. I looked at the expiration date and it was not supposed to expire for another week. Then I looked more closely. They had an expiration sticker that was on the box that had already passed, and then they put another sticker on top of that one with a different expiration date. That's not accidental - that's intentional. I definitely felt taken advantage of. Is it enough to make me stop shopping at Frazier Farms? Absolutely not. But, if this grocery outlet wants to improve, they need to look into why so many products on the shelves are expired. I understand not wanting to waste things. But you can't put new stickers on top of old stickers while selling a moldy product. I hope someone in management reads this review, and takes it seriously. I don't have time to go back to Fraziers every time I have to return an expired product. If that changes, I will change this review to 5 stars.
